Avatar n tn I think he is very comfortable with a low sex drive and the minimal amout of sex. I am sure the low testosterone level and the working alot of hours doesn't help matters, but I think he was like this the WHOLE time you. He might have put more effort into having the amount of sex that you wanted WHILE you all were dating and even that DIP over time. Secondly, you KNEW this was an issue BEFORE you married the man too.
Avatar m tn Hi, I am a 21 year old man and I suspect that I have low testosterone in my body. There are many reasone that forced me to come to such conclusion. Some of these characteristics are my high pitched voice, my submissive/passive personality, my kiddish looks, and overall personality. I come of as weak and low self esteem individual who can be easily influenced by others and be easily controlled by the male dominant society.
Avatar m tn Make an appointment with an endocrinologist (hormone Dr). Do not get your hopes up in certain areas such as growth, the normal time for this is in your growing years. But, he can help in many other areas. Then believe your family in that many other people are trying desperately to stay young. A good attitude goes a long way.
Avatar m tn I'm a 20 year old guy, and I've been working out and eating right for about 10 months, and I've gotten some very satisfactory results. However, even though I've gained muscle mass and lost a considerable amount of body fat, there still seems to have been no change in my "man boobs". This is very frustrating and embarrassing. I have and continue to do everything I can to get rid of my chest fat but it won't go away.
Avatar n tn I have most of the classic symptoms with Low Testosterone: Low libido, fat in mid-section, fatigue, grumpy, low stamina, medium/weak erections etc., Went to my Urologist. After blood work, he said I was fine and prescribed nothing. I'm thinking he's crazy. Can someone review my readings and give me an unofficial recommendation? I'm thinking I should've been recommended some sort of therapy, and if so, which therapy is good for my situation?
Avatar m tn I have been struggling with weight loss for 10+ years. My new doctor ordered a testosterone test and my results came back "low". I was referred to an endocrinologist, and I did not have a good rapport with her and did not feel as though she understood the years of effort I have put into trying to keep my weight down. After tests, she did not recommend testosterone treatment.

Avatar n tn i took an anabolic steroid cycle once before and used test boosters to workout. ill never do that again. My testosterone count is low and i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice. i have heard about zinc pills, as well as HCG. Would these bring me back to a normal count? anything you guys could give me is greatly appreciated!
Avatar m tn You need to see a urologist. Your testosterone could be low, but that may not be the only cause. I'm not an expert. Seek medical advice NOW!
Avatar m tn In any case, I would advise you to consult an endocrinologist, because low libido and increased fatigue can be associated not only with low testosterone production, but also with disorders in the thyroid gland. Take tests for thyroid hormones and perform an ultrasound exam.
Avatar m tn Dude it's not performance anxiety. your testosterone numbers are really low even though they're normal. no wonder you can't perform. I take it you're a young guy, so your testosterone needs to be at least 600. Wrong estrogen test. Nonetheless, it's too high. You need to test estradiol (preferably the sensitive assay one) (too low or too high will give you erectile dysfunction), dht, and shbg.
Avatar m tn Hi, Just the testosterone (T) level alone can not indicate if your level is low or not. As such there is no absolute value for T vs age and the range given by the labs is infact for young adults covering a large population base. You should evaluate T value against LH and FSH values to know if your brain considers your T value as low or high. Again, your eastrogen levels, prolactine, cortisole, thyroid and SHBG levels can modulate and influence the effects of a given T level in our body.
Avatar f tn We are currently TTC. I am worried that his low testosterone will cause us to not be able to have a baby. I would like to know if anyone has conceived with low testosterone.
Avatar m tn He said all my hormones were in range I also took a look at your levels they look excellent your testosterone is high considering the average american man testosterone is 450.The reason I think my test is kinda on the low side is because I live a sedentary lifestyle. And im also just getting over a three year major depression with bdd from 16-19 where I only got 3 to 4hours a sleep sometimes none a night.
Avatar f tn I have a 21 yr male who has low testosterone levels and high estrogen levels. He has gynecomastitis, overweight, depressed, and insomnia. Any advice on treatment option!
Avatar f tn Well, your testosterone is actually within normal at 400's. The average range is 233-1009 ng/dL for a man in his 30's. You'd need to be below 300 to be considered low testosterone. Do you get erections? I don't know what your TSH levels are but if outside of normal and high, that can indicate hypothyroidism which can impact hormones. It can make you weak, low energy, almost depressed feeling and yes, low sex drive.
