Common Questions and Answers about Low blood sugar symptoms chart

blood-sugar

It is fast acting insulin, meant to counter food. Rapidly swinging blood sugar - high or low - can have similar symptoms. Should you reduce your humalog? No. Your blood sugars are still too high. Don't take 1 event as evidence you can't lower your sugar. You can and must if you want to avoid a horrible host of diabetic complications. Slow and steady. Please study the book.
Simultaneousl, I tend to cry, in the morning, when I'[m at the restaurant, waiting for my eggs to come. (low blood sugar maybe) At night, I feel over-tired, but not sleepy. If people bother me when I'm tired, I can RAGE, but try not to scream, because my throat is sensitive, and prone to getting sore. All this from memory, no brain fog here! Also, congrats on your successful treatment!

My normally low blood pressure went up, as did my normally low cholesterol and glucose. I developed osteopenia that turned into osteoporosis, though I was on HRT and Calcium.I had extreme bleeding with my period. The gynecologist said she thought I had sub-clinical hypothyroidism.I asked to be sent to an Endo who said "Well, you're just getting older."and "You have plenty of hair." I lost almost 1/2 of it on the top of my head. My scalp hurt and itched.
Sorry but I have several related questions; 1) Did my low insulin levels cause left chamber (pumping blood out) to become enlarged by working overtime? 2) And did this cause my High Blood Pressure and palpitations? (My heart rate was extremely high 128/100 elevated for a short period and H Rate didn't seem to slow down in evenings.
I'm by no means an expert in high blood pressure, as I've had low blood pressure ever since I can remember. I think you should talk to your doctor about it and have it monitored regularly. You don't want to neglect it, it can become serious. Check into your diet and supplements again, you might be getting too much of the good stuff, which might not be so good for the blood pressure. I'm careful with eating stuff which reduces blood pressure, as mine is too low.
What is considered to be a low fasting blood sugar level? Also what is considered to be a high fasting blood sugar level? I'm fairly new to this but, I notice when my level is around 60 - 70, I seem to get lightheaded easier. I was just wondering if everyone is different on this or if there was a set number for each. It seems most people like it around 90 - 100. Just curious. Thank you in advance; Amy.
I've taken my blood pressure when I'm at my worst and it is usually low but my heart rate is fast, over 100. I'm currently seeing a neurologist who diagnosed me with essential and parkinsonian tremor. My real issue is the dizziness. He did autonomic testing on me and I thought for sure it would provide the answers, but he said all was relatively normal. I do have some signs of parkinsons such as the cogwheel rigidity. Are there other tests that I could request, I see him again in Nov.
This can help diagnosis conditions such an orhtostatic hypotension, postural orthostatic tachycardic syndrome, or vasovagal disorders. On the neurologic side of things, a low blood sugar could cause someone to loss consciousness, also a loss of blood flow temporarily to the brain. An imaging study of the blood vessels of the neck would be helpful to rule out stenosis. Another disorder which can cause a loss of vision and a passing out sensation is a seizure.
You will get kidney stones, high blood pressure, joint/back pain, constipation, heart burn, fatigue, and so much more...also depression, sleep probs, blood sugar problems and constant headaches...Sound familiar?if your tests come back positve for the parathyroidism, have a sestamibi scan done...and get a surgeon that has done hundreds of these operations..Not just any surgeon will do...good luck...
I also was diagnosed in the ER with a low blood flow to the front of my heart (whatever that means) and was admitted into the hospital for 3 days for observation. They did stress tests and a CT and ruled out heart disease. Please help, what is going on with me. I'm 35 but feel 80.
We have run numerous blood tests and EEG, EKG and they do not find anything. This child has a vascular ring repair that was 4 years ago. The blood tests keep showing low ph (7.1) capilary and venous on 2 seperate occassions, but urine tests and kidney tests appear fine. I chart his temperatures. His temperature at night is right around 97 (36) his daytime temps are slightly elevated 99.8 (37.7). We are grasping at straws to figure out what is going on with him and where to go next? Help.
There's actually not a great deal of difference in early pregnancy except that the symptoms of pms usually go away when AF arrives or just before/after. Whereas pregnancy symptoms not only continue but increase in intensity. Hope this helps and good luck with finding out!
most doctors switch meds every 2 to 3 years - though iv had 8 that didnt and I suffered with blood sugar problems.. and a nasty side effect ! I guess what im saying is , alot of doctors iv run into here in lost angeles play a guessing game with h.b.p . and treat symptoms first .. throw sample pills at us all .. then more less push us out the door .. iv had a few tell me , if you have any side effects , dont call me - I dont want to know - everyone gets them !! buck up and take it !!
My Blood glucose went to 213 while fasting over 30 hours and when I got home, I was sweating so bad during the night, I tested and it was 254! I'm quite concerned. My insulin levels are low, c-peptides low, and GAD high - Autoimmune Diabetes. WHAT Autoimmune disease DON'T I have?? I've slept pretty much since I got home Sat night, so have to arrange things tomorrow to start these new treatments.
Today I decided to check my Blood Pressure and pulse rate again to do a comparison. I feel good today and feel none of the fatigue or other symptoms of yesterday...my Blood Pressure today is 124 over 79 and my heart rate is 86 and I rested just like yesterday before taking the readings.
my families. His blood sugar was fine then. Also we have had a really hard time with potty training because he urinates so frequently. He probably has to go at least 3 times an hour. Since we have started potty training, I have noticed that his urine is alway clear. It is as clear as water every time he urinates. Also, in the last year he has grown dark hair on his back. It is very fine, but there is alot of it.
Many patients who walk through our doors have low Vitamin D levels. Again, this can be easily tested for through blood work. Also, from what I hear the Lymes blood test is not 100% reliable. It is possible to have a negative Lymes test and in fact be positive. Also, the Thryoid blood tests are definately not reliable. I in fact was borderline low-Hypothyroidism and suffered for many years.
I'm having withdrawal symptoms I didn't expect. Light headedness, the runs, blood pressure going up, and general fatigue. Lots of fatigue. And some irritability. I am hoping that these symptoms begin to decrease soon. Well, they have gotten better than it was in the first 2 days. I am still wondering how long I can expect to have these side effects of withdrawal?
The most imporant thing I can tell you is keep seeing doctors until you find one who will listen. It's helpful if you can document your symptoms. Keep a chart of when you feel badly, what you ate that day, and bring it in so they can review it. Don't give them a ton of symptoms, just give them your main 5 or so. If you rattle off a lot of symptoms they tend to dismiss you as a hypocondriac. I learned this the hard way.
My sister and my mother were also diagnosed with a low thyroid. I just had blood drawn again and they said my TSH level was low. Tsh is your Thyroid Stimulating hormone. But they said when your TSH is low that is usually a sign that you have an overactive thyroid which symtoms of that are the opposite of what we have. My Doctor has ordered more tests so I am waiting. I asked my sister to read me her TSH level from her blood work when she was diagnosed & it is the same is mine.
Your doc proabably believes that more symptoms or blood work will be more conclusive in the future. You are actuall very lucky. This is not done often, adn there are THOUSANDS who have many symptoms, but do not get treated. I went 8 years without treatment, and I probably wouldnt have even close to the damage I have today caused by the progression of the disease had someone treated me sooner. The sooner you get treatment - the better, as the meds can slow disease progress.
Also, if it helps, I experienced night sweats, heart burn, fatigue, gall bladder stones and attacks (had that puppy yanked before starting treatment!) low blood sugar episodes (caused some of my night sweats and headaches) (and more) before starting treatment and everything is back to normal now (16 months post treatment and still SVR!)...Hope this helps...
I know how you feel, I have had all the same symptoms on and off for 3 years. My sister has MS has does my uncle which why I was so concerned . My bloods all came back clear as did my MRI. My neurologist said it was chronic fatigue syndrome/PVFS/ME but because I'm having problems with symptoms re-appearing he needs to see me again.
i finally went to a gyno who was familiar,,, skipped period, headaches, bloating, hair loss, feeling tired,,, i had blood work ..harmones were low.. had something called polycystic ovarian syndrome...
ct scan fine. Er blood work fine. I just post here to see similar stories and symptoms cause my drs seem to know nothing and have never once called to see how I was feeling. Even urgent care called me for sinus infection. People who have been through are far more knowledgable than my dr.
do you know what stds are associated to my symptoms? i have never heard of blood in the sperm and in the urine after ejaculation being related to an std.
(Similar to when my blood sugar is low, but it wasn't) My BP was higher than normal 152/94 and I had a headache. I hope this doesn't happen each time I take it. Only time will tell. In the meantime, I will monitor my symptoms. Besides the feeling of being off balance and fatigue, I have general muscle and joint aches. (Sometimes very painful. It has taken me over an hour to write this much due to the pain in my hands) My eyes are very sensitive to bright lights.
Welllllllllllllllllll guess what. My urine dipstick shows moderate blood so you know the drill; off to the lab for a culture .. I had nausea yesterday ... it all makes such perfect sense ... probably debris passing or small stone. What else is new, right? Although it may be UTI . .my last one was STAPH of all things .. so I'll keep you posted and thanks for the suggestions.
