Avatar f tn My DHEA sulfate serum, TSH, Creatine Enzymatic, Retic, PLT, and Chloride are high. My Protein, Albumin, Vitamin D, MCHC, HGP, Testosterone, Estrogen, Estradiol, FSH, and LH are low. I'm not sure what these mean or if they could be related. Could anyone shed any light on any of these things? Will they be looked at/considered/tied into the endocrinology appointment? Anything else you could tell me would also be great. Thank you.

Avatar f tn Also: "We had a pet scan in 2019 which had light up in the tonsils area." A PET can't distinguish between cancer and inflammation. It sees increased metabolic activity. This PET probably saw only tonsil inflammation. "nodes... it’s small swelling that comes and goes" very very unlikely that cancer just goes away, so again that's inflammation and probably related to the tonsils "They seemed to think it was nothing to worry about" true.
390388 tn?1279636213 Lopressor, Diazide/Maxide, Lipitor, and Levothyroxine. My BP usually runs ~115/73 HR 75. (Due to Lopressor, Diazide/Maxide - keeps it low.) Before meds it ran very high at 165/102 HR 110 for a couple of years. For the last couple of weeks though every couple of days my heart rate can range from 53 to 101, BP don't change much. "Each" for a couple days then my normal 75 for a few days. It just seems crazy. Hypo = slow HR Hyper = fast HR. Mine is insane.
Avatar f tn It's normal to have lower blood pressure during pregnancy. your body has doubled the amount of blood now. It's better for it to be low than high. Mine has always been low but my doctor isn't concerned because I don't have fainting episodes. If you have blurry vision or faint, then it needs to be addressed with your doctor. As far as weight gain/lose, everybody is different. Some people lose weight all the way through and they'll give birth to a 9lb baby.
Avatar m tn Have you ever gotten your blood sugar tested? What you describe there could be Low blood sugar, Low hematocrit or hemoglobin which means low oxygen, but I guess a fall in blood pressure can make you dizzy and faint! Less pressure means less glucose and oxygen to brain so the brain will get your head a ground level so that it can get the needed glucose and oxygen which is why people faint...........High blood pressure will most likely cause a headache, but then again anything is possible.
Avatar n tn They did a doppler and found no DVT, did my blood work and said it was fine.Had a cat scan and all is well.Dr. suggested that going the metabolic/ednocrine route may be the way to go.I had my thyroid tested in the early part of February and my Dr. said it was ok.Over the past 3 months I have been testing Iron Deficient Anemic with a normal retic In addition, I stopped having my period in July 07. I was told by the OB/GYN that my estodial levels were at menopausal levels but I was not menopausal.
Avatar n tn The answer is it depends upon the etiology of the high blood pressure There are several different reasons for high blood pressure. For example, eighteen percent of people with high blood pressure can reduce the pressure by taking simple calcium supplements. That study was funded by a company manufacturing calcium-channel blockers, for whom I worked briefly two decades ago.
Avatar n tn After I gave him something really sweet to drink about 45 minutes later he was ready to eat. So do we have a problem with low sugar or high sugar? Is this something to worry about? He cant't talk so he can't tell us how he feels. My husband won't have insurance until the end of April. So were kinda stuck at the moment with being able to get anyone to help us. We were also told that since his seizures last that long we should really be worrying about brain deteriation.
372366 tn?1284403873 I have high blood pressure so I don't think that it is related. I was dx with high blood pressure before being dx with MS. My neuro never related the two so for me it seems the good ole gene pool is what the blood pressure is from. I was dx with high blood pressure in my late 20's and now I am 31. Dr's can't figure out why at such a young age I would have high blood pressure but they related it to genes! Gotta love the family tree!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
1356959 tn?1488975948 Still, too low can cause a lot of symptoms (tiredness, dizziness, nausea, tinnitus) and in some cases fainting. Which is slightly ironic is that high and low blood pressure often may cause the same symptoms... Good luck!
Avatar n tn I have seen a lot worse just keep a very good eye on it 93 isn't terrible and 71 isn't either when you see ur doc again ask him what range he would like to see your bp in and which numbers are to high and which are to low so if you hit those numbers you will know ok they shouldn't be here i need to seek medical attention now that way there will no doubt where you should be with your blood pressure and what you should do
Avatar f tn My blood sugar is 78, feeling cold and jittery and wondering if that is too high of a number to be causing it. Since last Thursday I have been unable to eat much, and what I do eat has been immediately removed (diarrhea). I was diabetic in my last pregnancy and still needing to lose weight so I have been checking my sugars just to see if maybe that is why I feeling so low right now. Thanks for the help.
Avatar n tn If your blood glucose was 61 an hour or two after breakfast, especially if your breakfast was fairly high carb (such as cereal, bread, etc) you might have a specific type of hypoglycemia called reactive hypoglycemia which is people who have low blood sugar after a meal high in carbs. I would suggest seeing your doctor and getting tested to see what type of hypoglycemia you have and to make sure you aren't pre-diabetes.
Avatar f tn Under 90 is normal so you are high. What "diet" did he say to use, probably low fat. Unfortunately its not fat that raises BG but carbohydrates that raise BG (blood sugar). All carbs raise BG, reduce carbs have lower BG.
Avatar n tn I just got my weekly checkup and there saying i have high blood pressure. What can i do to change that and make it normal?
Avatar f tn My 90 yr old mother has suffered two MIs in the past month while visiting in NY and after a short rehab has to return home. Is flying an option? She has had low blood pressure and was administred dopamine to bring it back up. She also has bad leg circulation so sitting in a car for 20 hrs is not an option.
Avatar f tn My mom and both grandmothers have/had diabetes but they also were overweight, had big bellies and ate horribly, smoked and never exercised. I have low blood pressure sometimes too...never had high blood pressure. I would think diabetes would be highly unlikely.....???
Avatar m tn i to thought it should go up when busy my bp has been running wild last three weeks its 182/94 one day and next its 95/55 dr says worry more about high than low and i rather it be low than high
