lovenox onset of action

just started me on Lovenox, I got one + hpt, still waiting on beta confirmation, but anyway, just gave myself an injection of Lovenox and now I am feeling a little light headed. Is this normal? What are some of the side effects I can expect?

m just wondering has anyone else had a successful pregnancy taking Lovenox? Just really nervous and have alot of questions now. Should I go ahead and take the baby aspirin now or wait? The Doctor says we can try again in October.

I also have the same issue. My IGM first came back borderline and then the 2nd 2 tests were just slightly positive. I don't have any history of miscarriages. I'm on 40mg Lovenox a day and have been spotting brown blood for past 2 weeks. I have heard Lovenox causes bleeding. I don't think I need to be on Lovenox. My Rhemetologist said some docs would think Lovenox is necessary while other docs would think I wouldn't need Lovenox.

Anyone taking Lovenox? Im 9 weeks and between the lovenox and the prenat vit I feel groggy all the time..just wondering if lovenox makes you feel bad..

m interested in hearing from anybody who has had similar symptoms, or a similar course of action before getting a diagnosis. I have never really heard of tinnitis or vertigo being symptoms of MS, and those are the main reasons I even started pursuing medical help to begin with. The doctors have ruled out some explanations (like the acoustic neuroma), but there are still other possibilities on the table (Meniere's disease, or even high blood pressure for example).

It kind of sounds like a form of Action tremors, but I have to agree with mkh9.

It has never converted for one minute since the flutter has started. Then I take shots of Lovenox two days before and 2 to 3 days afterwards the ablation. Is this what others have done? I am really scared having gone on this long, as the bottom part of my heart is just scar tissue from previous ht. attacks. Just want to get it over with. Anyone? Please let me know about the Protime and Lovenox bit, as it worries me! Thanks everyone!

I have been on Lovenox off and on for about two years...since Ihave become pregnant, I have been taking them daily...there are days when I just can't seem to get the needle to go in...I just change locations...the bigger I get, the harder it is to pinch the skin and the more painful it becomes to do the injection...The suggestions that Magda has made is pretty much what I was told by my doc... So I'm going on a daily dose of Lovenox, and I have to have hydroxyprogesterone weekly. I'm getting nervous not so much for me but my fiancé. He takes great care of me and idk if it's hormones but now with baby #2 being a girl it's a risk I may genetically passed or will pass my high blot clot risk to her. What if she has miscarriage problems or risks having going into labor early. I worry about my son too- I just found this information out today.

but it eventually happened for both of them and I think the one was on lovenox. So it will happen it just takes time and sometimes alot of heartache later!!!

Has anybody used the blood thinner lovenox? My doctor put me on it for the whole pregnancy. I just forbid out I was carrying 4 days ago. I'm very nervous because I've had 3 miscarriages before this.

t pay for it and it was very expensive. So now I have medicaid and the doc has perscribed me lovenox.

just out of curiosity.... anyone use Lovenox with their ivf/fet cycle? And if so, when did you start the injections? My ER wants me to start the injections around O date (we are doing FET cycle). My question is.... wouldn't it be better to start sooner??? Wouldn't blood clots have already formed in the uterine lining by then? Or does the lining start to grow around O date? (I know I know... you would think I would know that part being a 4th time IVF/FET patient...

t risk using it a year or more later, though, because of the potential consequences. The purpose of the lovenox is to prevent blood clots, and if you were to get a blood clot because of bad lovenox, that would be serious, and it wouldn't have been worth it to save the money. I have discarded some expired syringes of Arixtra, which is a similar but more expensive product, for that reason. So if you're going to use this expired lovenox, do it now, would be my advice. I can't remember who asked me this question, but I now have the answer.... I just got back from my high-risk OB appt and they have switched me to Heparin (Low-Molecular Weight, I believe) because it IS reversible should I go into labor unexpectadly, whereas Lovenox is not. I can't remember the reversal med, but it exists so that should I require an emergency c-section, they would give me this shot and send me on my way.

im currently taking heparin...i had a choice of lovenox or heparin and chose heparin...i was diagnosed with factor v leiden which is a blood clotting disease...preg increases my risk of DVT's big time so my doc took no chances...both lovenox and heparin will not harm the baby or the doc wouldnt subscribe it to preg women who have blood clotting issues such as myself... i have a friend who i believe had MTHFR and all she did was take baby aspirin....
