I am pregnant. Well 9 weeks to be exact. I am on lovenox because of blood clot. How about you? and how do you feel?

Now I have gotten a surprise BFP and my doc is talking about Lovenox (low dose). Maternal fetal medicine says NO WAY its too risky without having a diagnosed blood clotting disorder, but my OB and RE are willing to put me on it. I'm concerned about the risks (to myself, I know it won't affect the baby). Is it all that risky? Could it help in my situation? I dont know what else to do but really want to have more kids!

t really need to take baby aspirin if I am on the Lovenox but VERY IMPORTANT thing was this, if you (like me in the beginning) are only taking one dose of Lovenox per day, you are not covering off your entire 24 hours since Lovenox is very short lived in the body (only 12 hours). So, since I was changed to twice a day it wasn't really necessary for me to also take the baby aspirin which I was taking to cover off the missing 12 hours in the beginning.

I was wondering how many women are on lovenox injections? I inject myself twice a day with 120mg. I have had an unkown clotting disorder for the past 13 years that the doctors cannot figure out why. Frustrating to say the least. When I found out I was pregnant my Hematologist put me on these injections. I was on them before for 7 months trying to figure out the best course of treatment. Now I have no choice. If I don't take them I could clot and kill the baby and myself.

Im 18 weeks, my dr just called this morning saying my bloodwork has shown I should be on lovenox shots once a day. I do not want to be on these shots and have my baby have some wierd side effect because of them. Im pretty holistic and am already on an low dose asprin (which I dont like taking) a day and they still want me to do this. We are 8w5d pregnant now. Our RE recommended Lovenox/Prednisone/Baby Aspirin. How do you know when it's safe to stop each med? Nurse said it's usually through 12 weeks. But I have seen other people say online they took Lovenox until 36 weeks. Since this protocol worked, I'm scared to stop any of them. Thanks.

So I'm going on a daily dose of Lovenox, and I have to have hydroxyprogesterone weekly. I'm getting nervous not so much for me but my fiancé. He takes great care of me and idk if it's hormones but now with baby #2 being a girl it's a risk I may genetically passed or will pass my high blot clot risk to her. What if she has miscarriage problems or risks having going into labor early. I worry about my son too- I just found this information out today.

The other night I was given 50 mg Lopressor, plavix, and lovenox, as I thought and the hospital thought I was having a cardiac event. I already take 25 mg atenolol. I wasn't having event, but non-specific chest pain. That was Monday night. Now I wake up with my heart racing and blood pressure rising. I also wake up exhausted. I just got back from my high-risk OB appt and they have switched me to Heparin (Low-Molecular Weight, I believe) because it IS reversible should I go into labor unexpectadly, whereas Lovenox is not. I can't remember the reversal med, but it exists so that should I require an emergency c-section, they would give me this shot and send me on my way.

In other cases you might have to take a shot of low-dose heparin every day (usually lovenox). Please don't tell me I missed that too, in spite of going back and reading again...........LOL It's possible that you have nodules that are leaking hormone independently of the thyroid gland itself. This can swing you from hypo to hyper very quickly.

I also have the same issue. My IGM first came back borderline and then the 2nd 2 tests were just slightly positive. I don't have any history of miscarriages. I'm on 40mg Lovenox a day and have been spotting brown blood for past 2 weeks. I have heard Lovenox causes bleeding. I don't think I need to be on Lovenox. My Rhemetologist said some docs would think Lovenox is necessary while other docs would think I wouldn't need Lovenox.

I was put on Lovenox and a baby aspirin 2 weeks prior to miscarrying. The Doctor seems to think that when we get pregnant again that I can get on Lovenox and baby aspirin when i'm 7 weeks pregnant and that the pregnancy will be a healthy succuessful one. I'm just wondering has anyone else had a successful pregnancy taking Lovenox? Just really nervous and have alot of questions now. Should I go ahead and take the baby aspirin now or wait? The Doctor says we can try again in October.

t doing well and you raised them on your own to see if it would help which is never a good idea? What is the dose that you are taking? What dose did you take today? I could give you some more information then. But more importantly if you are starting to feel sick then you might have taken above what is the reccomended maximum dosage and clearly you are encountering some side effects.

I had an ablation last week and am doing well, but am very beat up (low energy, black and blue, sore throat from TEE and polka dot bruises from Lovenox). My question is how long a time period is it usual to be on Lovenox? My doctor has said a full month. From my research, other than pregnant women, for all other conditions it says 2 weeks or less. I can't take coumadin due to a severe reaction to it.
