Other than the reasons she's already ruled out I have no idea. I did bleed for 5 weeks in the beginning of my pregnancy extremely bad due to a subchorionic hematoma. They didn't see the hematoma at 5 or 6 weeks but caught it at 7 weeks. My daughter is 3 now.

Hello everyone! Last Wednesday (at 9 weeks), I was laying down when I felt a gush of blood. It was very thin and bright red. I called the Dr. and went in for an ultra sound...to my surprise there was our baby with its little heart beating away! The ultra sound tech said I have a hematoma, at the time I thought she explained it well, but now I don't really remember what the explanation was. I will ask when I go to see the Dr. on Thursday...I am a wreck.

They saw the baby and told me that all should be fine and to follow up with my OB (who happens to be a peri). At my u/s follow up, they diagnosed me with a 4x1x2 subchiorionic hematoma located right next to my cervix. I had on and off brown spotting and was taking it easy per doctors orders. I had to run to the store just yesterday and after being on my feet for about an hour I had another gush of blood and another trip to the ER.

Doctor examined my leg and noticed a small area with a slight color change on my upper leg outer side, diagnosing the problem with a deep hematoma. I insisted on getting an MRI scan. After the scan, he found out that I had a bone bruise on the upper section of my tibia (tibial head?). He did not perform a blood test/count. He advised me to use crutches for 3 more weeks. He also prescribed the following medicines.

Anyone been on lovenox and had brown spotting? With my daughter i did not go on lovenox until 11 weeks and i never had an internal after that. I'm assuming this is all stemming from the internal, the pap, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't remember who asked me this question, but I now have the answer.... I just got back from my high-risk OB appt and they have switched me to Heparin (Low-Molecular Weight, I believe) because it IS reversible should I go into labor unexpectadly, whereas Lovenox is not. I can't remember the reversal med, but it exists so that should I require an emergency c-section, they would give me this shot and send me on my way.

I was also diagnosed with a Subchorionic hematoma at 9 weeks 1 day, after some light spotting. I have had 2 miscarriages before so I was terrified. The doctor put me on modified bed rest and full pelvic rest. I am now 16 weeks today and the baby is looking perfect. I had a scan at 13 weeks and the bleed was still there but small. It's still something I think about, but I'm no longer too worried about it. Try not to stress (hard I know) and just keep seeing your Doc.

I also have the same issue. My IGM first came back borderline and then the 2nd 2 tests were just slightly positive. I don't have any history of miscarriages. I'm on 40mg Lovenox a day and have been spotting brown blood for past 2 weeks. I have heard Lovenox causes bleeding. I don't think I need to be on Lovenox. My Rhemetologist said some docs would think Lovenox is necessary while other docs would think I wouldn't need Lovenox.

Anyone taking Lovenox? Im 9 weeks and between the lovenox and the prenat vit I feel groggy all the time..just wondering if lovenox makes you feel bad..

I was put on Lovenox and a baby aspirin 2 weeks prior to miscarrying. The Doctor seems to think that when we get pregnant again that I can get on Lovenox and baby aspirin when i'm 7 weeks pregnant and that the pregnancy will be a healthy succuessful one. I'm just wondering has anyone else had a successful pregnancy taking Lovenox? Just really nervous and have alot of questions now. Should I go ahead and take the baby aspirin now or wait? The Doctor says we can try again in October.

I had an ablation last week and am doing well, but am very beat up (low energy, black and blue, sore throat from TEE and polka dot bruises from Lovenox). My question is how long a time period is it usual to be on Lovenox? My doctor has said a full month. From my research, other than pregnant women, for all other conditions it says 2 weeks or less. I can't take coumadin due to a severe reaction to it.

The last time I had Lovenox was one year ago and I was at 2.6 when I started the Lovenox. At that time I quit taking coumadin until after the procedure. The day after the procedure, I started up on coumadin and continued to taking the Lovenox until I was therapeutic again (between 2-3 INR). You stated that you were worried about the AFib. I assume you were referring to AFib while you are off coumadin and on Lovenox. I wouldn't worry about that.

1) Have you ever heard of lovenox injections to prevent further clots in stents and 2) what are the risks from lovenox to her relatively healthy kidneys (after 30+ yrs of diabetes)? Thank you for your good advice. You were the only Dr. who said E.R.

Anyone on Lovenox... Will the burning ever go away? Any advice of where to do the injections. My love handles are so soar and its only been a week.

So I'm going on a daily dose of Lovenox, and I have to have hydroxyprogesterone weekly. I'm getting nervous not so much for me but my fiancé. He takes great care of me and idk if it's hormones but now with baby #2 being a girl it's a risk I may genetically passed or will pass my high blot clot risk to her. What if she has miscarriage problems or risks having going into labor early. I worry about my son too- I just found this information out today.

I am 22 and I have had three miscarriages in the past year. I've never gotten past 6 weeks. My doctor did a batch of bloodwork on me, as well as shooting dye into my uterus and tubes. Everything in my blood work came back fine, except I have MTHFR, which is a blood clotting disorder. We finally feel ready to try again. My doctor gave me a prescription for Lovenox 40mgs once a day. Plus I'm on Folic Acid. Has anyone taken this and had a sucess story?

Hi girls. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on Lovenox? My RE is putting me on it with this next positive pregnancy. We just ran another series of blood tests and one came back positive for blood clotting. He said this particular type of clot would is associated with second or third trimester losses, whereas all four of my mc have been around five weeks. But he said it is reason enough to do Lovenox. I don't know how long I would have to take it.

I really had to push very hard for the needle to go in then it stopped about a third of the way and I had to jam it in the rest of the way. does this sound right? I have plenty of fat so it's not as if I got held up on muscle or anything.

Has anybody used the blood thinner lovenox? My doctor put me on it for the whole pregnancy. I just forbid out I was carrying 4 days ago. I'm very nervous because I've had 3 miscarriages before this.

Any one out there feel differently? I am thinking of requesting Lovenox in addition to aspirin for next round. Any benefits or harm? How do you all feel? Thanks!

just out of curiosity.... anyone use Lovenox with their ivf/fet cycle? And if so, when did you start the injections? My ER wants me to start the injections around O date (we are doing FET cycle). My question is.... wouldn't it be better to start sooner??? Wouldn't blood clots have already formed in the uterine lining by then? Or does the lining start to grow around O date? (I know I know... you would think I would know that part being a 4th time IVF/FET patient...

Now I have gotten a surprise BFP and my doc is talking about Lovenox (low dose). Maternal fetal medicine says NO WAY its too risky without having a diagnosed blood clotting disorder, but my OB and RE are willing to put me on it. I'm concerned about the risks (to myself, I know it won't affect the baby). Is it all that risky? Could it help in my situation? I dont know what else to do but really want to have more kids!

I am 23 weeks pregnant, and my Dr has me on 40mg Lovenox daily. I have been taking it close to 2 months now, without any followup blood work. I am on Lovenox because earlier in my pregnancy they discovered I MIGHT have a Protein-S deficiency. They just say to keep taking the injections. Should I get a "second opinion"?
