I also have the same issue. My IGM first came back borderline and then the 2nd 2 tests were just slightly positive. I don't have any history of miscarriages. I'm on 40mg Lovenox a day and have been spotting brown blood for past 2 weeks. I have heard Lovenox causes bleeding. I don't think I need to be on Lovenox. My Rhemetologist said some docs would think Lovenox is necessary while other docs would think I wouldn't need Lovenox.

My transfer has always been a 5 day plan and they are saying that I have a Luteal Phase defect ? What is this and how can it be treated ?
We began seeing a fertility specialist 4 months after the first miscarriage. No cause for infertility has been found. We began Clomid and did two rounds of IUI. I got pregnant on the second IUI attempt. I had a second miscarriage in February of this year. At six weeks, a heartbeat was detected, but at 8 weeks there was no heartbeat. The baby measured 7 weeks and 3 days. I had a D&C and the doctor ordered chromosomal testing.
I was on lovenox for a short period of time. I could not find a spot for the injection that didn't make me cry. I'm sorry you are going through this.hopefully they can switch you to the heparin by mouth instead. They told me that they normally keep ppl on the lovenox until wk 37 b.c it's longer acting and then the heparin after that b.c it's out of your system faster and is safer foe delivery bit maybe you can get switched earlier?

And also, I was perimenopausal before this egg donor pregnancy, I am on estrace, vaginal progesterone, lovenox.
I dont know anything about the lovenox but im sure your Dr knows whats best for you.
To tell you the truth Im not for sure why Im taking Lovenox...we have 2 children and had no problems getting pregnant,etc..For some reason when I turned 30 I had three mc back to back..we were going to a fertility specialist and finally was able to get pregnant again the doc put me on lovenox,baby aspirin, and progesterone..looks like everything is going fine with this pregnancy..Im 9.3 weeks due Feb 21st.
I am 20 years old and I have been married for a year and a half. My husband and I lost our first pregnancy due to my diagnosis of Endomitriosis and two clotting disorders. Both found after the miscarriage, the blame too. I just found out today that I am pregnant again. I and my husband are in denial and are not sure of this is true. We have been trying for so long that we gave up trying about 7 months ago.
Thanks so much for your in-put! Did you also have to have your protime 2 or 3 for four weeks before the procedure? That is what is killing us! I am also worried about having no reduction in the atrial fib. beats for so long.
Medicare will only pay for a protime test once a week. Scares me also.
Our interventional cardiologist was away and his partners wouldn’t touch it and made her wait for 3 days in the E.R. for his return. She had i.v. nitro and heperin. Was that safe? She is now taking lovenox injections to see if this prevents further clots because 1 platelet count came back slightly elebvated and it should have been zero (it was 288)..
m worried about what I was reading about epidural while taking lovenox, debates on when you should stop prior to surgery for pregnancy; possibly bleeding too much. That and I do not get numb underneath my skin so another c-section would be a bit uncomfortable since I passed out last time from all the pain and I like to be aware what is going on. That and if anything goes wrong I'd be passed out before I knew so....
Lovenox is for blood clots. I had two pulmonary embolisms last tear from being on BC pills. As a precaution, they put me back in to avoid developing any more during the pregnancy.
I don't know what fragmen is, I'm going to Google it now. @ krisdy, I didn't know you can do it in your legs. The Dr was so specific about where he wanted me to do it..in the love handles but if I can alternate from legs to stomach, I will. Where in your legs?
On the expired lovenox, just be sure that nothing has precipitated out of the solution. In other words, you shouldn't see any flakes or granules in the liquid. You also don't want to see any color change, or any kind of change from the normal appearance of the product, at all. Otherwise, as long as it looks okay, using it shortly after expiration is probably fine, in my personal opinion. (Bear in mind, I'm a patient and not a doctor or a pharmacist.
