i give birth 6 weeks ago i had blood clots in my lungs they gave me lovenox inj? the medicaid was covering it, but now after my pregnancy ended they stoped the medicaid and i cannot afford seeing the dr or the inj. i still got 5000mg heparin but i dont use because after my pregnancy ended they swithed me to lovenox i now take only asprin 325mg am i at risk what can do about it !!

If you are considering not doing tx because of the cost trust me, the cost of NOT doing treatment is to high. Talk with your dr, nurse, local agencies about treatment. Hope this helped.

I'm sure the cost varies from one area to another, but we would have no way of knowing what the cost of this or any other medication would be for people in different locations. You would need to check the price with whoever would be dispensing that medication to you (pharmacist? clinic? doctor). Best wishes...

Prior to this latest refill my insurance has not covered any of my refills. On this last refill, insurance did pay $70. That means that without insurance a 3 month supply would be $315. That's triple what it started out at ($85). IMO that is excessive for a thyroid medication.

Hi there. Went today for my 31 week appt and my ob had mentioned that we switch from lovenox to heparin at about 36 weeks. I'm on lovenox for factor 5 with history of a blood clot. She also then recommended induction at 39 weeks.... the heparin would be a good idea if an epidural was needed/wanted but it's more cost and twice a day rather than once. I'm really focused on a natural delivery but understand that plans can change suddenly.

A 3 month supply of interferon, ribavirin, & Victrelis would cost $180.00 (so about $60 a month) I thought it was going to be a lot higher. But I forgot to ask about "rescue drugs".
