Lovenox and tylenol

Common Questions and Answers about Lovenox and tylenol

I recover from retrieval pretty fast and haven't had to do much more than wear a heating pad and take Tylenol...go back to work the next day. I suggest you invest in gatoraid and water for the time leading up to the retrieval and then to transfer. I always get realllllllly thirsty the closer I get to retrieval/transfer. I have also heard that drinking gatoraid and water can keep complications at bay (OHSS).
Hi I did IUI on Saturday and am now doing the dreadful 2WW and I am already feeling discouraged but not defeated. I have PMS signs and it sucks cuz IF and WHEN AF shows up I'm gonna feel like burying my self under my sheets and never waking up. Don't mean to seem negative but today I am feeling prety down. Anyhow good luck to both of us.
so i just called my docs office to see if my factor 5 bloodwork results were in....they are...so here i am waiting for the nurse to call me again....GRRRR i have no idea what factor 5 is...how it affects my pregnancy.....when im not pregnant....anything.... i do know that one of my levels was "low" and considered abnormal (no idea what that means either) all i know is my doc said she is pretty confident the cause of my loss last month was due to a blood clot that burst...
I was on morphine drip and it still was not enough for the pain. It has been aweful. Now I am home and no more narcotics.. just tylenol which to me does nothing but I understand that the narcotics are not good on the stomach. Did anyone else form an ileus? The surgeon told me that it happens to 10% of people and that the type I had was very rare. He also scared me when he said there was no guarantee it would not come back later on.
I am a little over 10 weeks, and I take Lovenox. I just called my doctor because I have a terrible headache thatI havent been able to get rid of all day long. I talked to the nurse and asked if there was anything that I could take, because Tylenol is a no-no with the Lovenox. She told me to go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist, because they would know more than she does. Is that right? Shouldnt she have asked the doctor or something? I hate my doctors office!
My blood will not regualte and I was on 100 mg of Lovenoz twice a day for several months along with the pill. Now, it is Spetember and I am off the Lovenox and only on the blood thinning pill. I have gained 50 lbs from all this. Just his week my left knee infront and in back started to hurt me so bad I had been screaming and can not move or bend it, and the pain went down to my calf to the back of my ankle and into my toe's.
I again asked about the painful cramping and was told to take Tylenol and not to worry. I continued to pass large clots and the pain worsened as the night went on. That night about 10 PM I had a sudden surge of pain and felt a large pop. I sat on the toilet not knowing what was going on and suddenly two tiny little feet appeared. I was home alone with my son (18 months) Thank God he was sound asleep. I sat on the couch and called an ambulance.
I can not take anti inflammatory drugs due to my condition so the only thing I can take is tylenol everything else counter acts with my medicine for my condition (lovenox) hard to do things with living this and also in pain. I called my hemo today who handles my meds and spoke with him about everything. He knew the whole story how I took more then I needed and how I stopped and threw 90 pills down the toliet....
The active ingredients are acetaminphen (same as tylenol which I know is okay), pheniramine (antihistamine), and phenylephrine (nasal decongestant).
hurts above the eyebrows and under the eyes where the sinuses are, and my face in those areas just feels bruised and painful. I'm on Lovenox (blood thinner) so I can't take ibuprofen or anything other than acetominophen. These are almost migrain level and I don't get migrains really except for MAYBE 1x every two years. Anyone have any suggestions? Is it hormone related? I've been feeling bluesy this last week and I'm really thinking it's the headaches.
Those can also cause leg pain. I took tylenol and it worked for me pretty well. I would start as soon as I got home from chemo. There is nothing fun about chemo. What did you decide about a second opinion? You may want to have a relationship if the chemo doesn't work. You are in my thoughts.
Not up to reading my fever seems to be coming back EVEN WITH antiobiotic, 2 ibuprofen AND TYLENOL!!!!!!!!

And, how long will this take (approximately). I am in pain and am taking high dose Tylenol and can't take that forever. I do have tramadol but don't know if that is easier on the liver or not. I also don't want to get on that too much as I was on it before and went through withdrawal from it. I want to get mobilized and walking as soon as I can. Right now the pain is too high in the leg and knee to walk. But if the fluid goes out of the leg and knee from the clot then the pain will go down.
He also misdiagnosed me with a blood clot and had me on coumadin and lovenox shots. This added to my anxiety. I kept insisting i am not normally an anxious person and that I know there is something physically wrong with me. Well I was right! I am now 4 weeks post op for a tumor inside my spinal cord that was causing paralysis. I am still having some of the same issues I was having when I was overmedicated and am wondering if these are anxiety symptoms or if something else is going on.

I had a couple feet of colon removed and did the same thing. Intestines just don't like being messed around with, and tend to sulk a long time when they get rearranged. If I remember correctly, it took about 2 months, maybe a little longer, for everything to really get to where I wasn't bothered with the PM bloat any longer. Hang in there - it really will get better.
I had all these wonderful dreams last time, and they were crushed, and I just want to be able to shop for my baby and feel good about everything. Am I the only one who is always worried?
I did stay as long as I could in the hospital - 4day. I went home with tylenol w/codeine and helped me to tolerate the pain. I'd say the worst part of it all was the swelling that you'll have after the c-section in your legs/feet. My lasted a full 2-weeks. It was pretty scary. Take the pain medicine even if you don't think you need. If you're thinking you don't need it, it's because it's working. THis is major surgery.

This went away as soon as it started while still on the phone and I chalked it up to a migraine symptom. but the headache never really came. i took tylenol and went to bed early and called my doc today but i wont be seen until tomorrow. after speaking to my mom today she said she has had a couple of TIA's in the past few years. Now I am afraid that is what I had. I do not drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs.
I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound and found at least one DVT. They put me on Coumadin and Lovenox injections until I get to the right dose (which should be by this weekend). I was told that coumadin does not remove or breakup the clot it just prevents ti from going to the lung/heart. But my question is when does the swelling from the clot go down and how does the body break it up or remove it on its own? And, how long will this take (approximately).
i have had some symptoms, boobs hurt, a little crampie, feels like im starving then when i get food i dont want to eat it, sleep like a log but thats not normal for me because im a night owl, feet hurt and lower back hurts, verry moody, and some dreams about pregnancy tests, babys, and being pregnant, all before i got my positive tests.
A week before we bridged from Coumadin to 120mg of Lovenox 2 times a day. Surgery took place and the Dr said all went well. After a few more days in hospital he was feeling fine and no pain or heart issues!!!!! YEAH!! 13 days later ( 1st day of sophmore year) (missed ALL freshman year) because of blood clot issues and was tutored..
get every last drop however minor amount releases into my system. I am taking klonidine and Tylenol 3 to help keep my levels up and to keep the wd symptoms to a minimum while tapering of the Fentanyl. I plan to continue on these meds afterwards ….. not much choice since my chronic pain is not likely to disappear. I want to clarify that I am not addicted nor am I dependant. The Fentanyl was my choice and my doctor agreed to in my desperation to get a handle on my chronic pain.
00am and I finally went to sleep. I had even taken Tylenol PM and I was still wide awake due to the pain. I am having a hard time understanding why these cramps get worse at night when I try to go to bed and what causes them. I think last night was the worse they have been.
Signs of chronic mastoiditis. She is on Lovenox and they want to watch wait and see. This thrombectomy thing sounds interesting. She is having headaches and visual disturbances as well. It seems to me a shunt would be in order but they are not wanting to get aggressive. Very concerned because she is so young. Dr.
