Avatar n tn Hi there, Hope you are doing well. A good dietary regime and exercises all will be helpful in losing weight. Losing weight in a healthy way is important for maintaining the glow of your skin. Eat lots of fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and consume less of potato, sweetened and processed foods. Start your day by drinking lemon juice in warm water. Have fruits with lots of vitamin C in breakfast that will help you cut fats as vitamin C is a fat burner.
Avatar f tn Its good you've set a goal and are looking to find out how to achieve it! However losing 15 pounds in a month is unrealistic and unhealthy. Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!
Avatar f tn They should be able to set and appropriate goal weight for you, and give you some tips on losing some weight. Never try starving yourself or making yourself throw up. You are wonderfully made. Keep going. You can do it.

Avatar f tn I developed hypothyroidism when I was pregnant with my son and now I'm on a pill for it. I've been trying really hard to lose my baby weight but I'm not getting very far very fast. I take my pill like I'm supposed to and diet and exercise. I was wondering if there was any helpful tips to weight loss for a person with hypothyroid disease?
Avatar f tn So I want to loose weight. When I was 14 I was 164 pounds and I went on a diet and did exercise and I went down to 138 pounds. Currently I'm 17 and i have regained the weight. I am 158 pounds and I really don't want to go back to 164 pounds. I am 5 feet tall and I checked my BMI and I am overweight. I really want to loose weight. My goal weight is 120-125. I am going to prom with my boyfriend in June and I want to loose weight to look nice.
20801560 tn?1512718136 I had an operation a few months back and since then I've been losing a lot of weight. I've calculated by BMI and apparently, I'm underweight, almost severely. I know people will say "just eat more" but it really isn't that simple. It's problematic for my stomach to adjust to larger portions. My antibiotics are also causing extreme fatigue; I can't exercise regularly like I used to (exercise really helped) and I sometimes skip meals.
Avatar f tn I was wanting to know how many calories, fat, carbs, ect... I should eat to lose weight. I cannot exercise a whole lot do to a medical condition where I suffer from daily headaches and pressure in my head. Losing weight will actually help this condition. Besides my overall health, this is why it is so important that I lose weight. I have lost weight in the past, but always seem to gain it back. I think that I was not eating enough calories. i was staying at about 1000 a day.
Avatar f tn Well that's a bit excessive amount to lose in just one month. You should only be losing up to 10 lbs a month to stay healthy. Figuring out a target weight and date, and a moderate excericise program is what will help you shed punds without killing yourself. Try the DietDiary app!
Avatar n tn 10 and weigh 22 stones and 7 lbs for the past 3 weeks i have been exercising every day, and have been on a liquid diet, where i am having 1 slimfast milkshake as my daily meal, in the first 2 weeks i noticed that i had lost just over a stone as i was originally 23 1/2, but in the third week i have noticed that i am not losing as much weight, i am currently doing 45 mins cardio on my treadmill, followed by 15 mins on my punch bag, and then i would do weight training for 15 mins.

Tbd HDL or good cholesterol will increase as you want it to not only through diet but especially through exercise. Getting active is number one on the list and losing weight is number two for how to improve your HDL number. https://www.webmd.com/heart/how-to-boost-your-good-cholesterol. They also recommend choose 'better' fats in your diet, drink alcohol sparingly and to stop smoking if you do. Here is more about the exercise link between HDL and exercise. https://www.webmd.
Avatar f tn I'm not sure that's a factor given the amount of weight you intend to lose. At your age, you probably won't have that problem, but as we age, we get loose skin whether we're losing weight or not. Better to lose it now than later. I would imagine that if you incorporate resistance training in your exercise regimen you can work on that, but know that once you do resistance training and gain muscle, you have to maintain it or it will turn into loose skin. Look.
Avatar f tn So I used to have lots of fun exercising but now its just sressy and I avoid it... Do you guys have any tips or maybe some fun exercises to loose weight quickly or to get a "wabble-free" belly??
978106 tn?1285108401 Sounds like water retention. It doesn't seem possible to gain weight with what you're eating, unless you have a thyroid condition or some other disorder such as Type II diabetes, which can complicate matters. As for exercise, get in what you can. Take the stairs, park far away and walk to the store, school, etc. Or call up a friend and take a stroll around the neighborhood. You don't have to kill yourself to get a decent amount of exercise. If you can exercise, by all means, do.
Avatar f tn do any of you ladies exercise I gained a lot with my first kid and it's been hard to lose I'm overweight due to not losing it all.
1007972 tn?1250976500 Im losing weight but have had many stand stills. The only way to lose weight is to work through the stand stills. Do exercise because you enjoy it, not to see results. Find something you like to do, find some healthy things you like to eat and get to it. When you are board and just want to eat, make sure its healthy. Or chew some sugar free gum instead.
