Avatar f tn Anyone have any good tips and or experiences for losing the pregnancy weight after giving birth?
Avatar f tn How many of you mommies have lost y'all baby weight??? What are y'all stories what did y'all do that was most effective and is it true that breastfeeding helps you to lose weight?????
1519983 tn?1401046428 I agree with you about having PCOS and just losing 10% can do amazing things. I think that losing the weight really regulates your hormone levels which is why we have pcos anyways. I'm gonna go run/jog/walk whatever today after work with DH. I'm gonna stop making the excuses of why I can't. I am also gona start eating much healthier and way less. This will be very hard for me as i do love food too, but It's all a balance. Do I like food more or want a baby more?
Avatar f tn Hi all, I am severely depressed & have been taking Prozac for a month now & my doc suggested Abilify to add. I had already put on 30lbs from lexapro, which is part of becoming depressed again. I have been on the Abilify for 6days now & can tell it is having a positive impact on me. I have had enough motivation to work out the past two days & I am really watching what I'm eating. Has anyone here had success with losing weight on Abilify & prozac?
676912 tn?1332812551 Coming to join you guys/gals on the wonderful journey of losing weight. Blah!!! It's been hard for me in the past, and now it's going to be hard again. I've set a goal of 25 pounds to get rid of in the next five months. A little history, I just found out today, unfortunately, that I'm not pregnant. I have a wonderful son who will be one in just 7 short days, and my husband and I tried for three months to get pregnant again.
1046985 tn?1305117048 Has anyone got any advice, or stories of hope. I have heard that ovarian problems can cause weight gain, and that its almost a given with menopause, aaargh..
1519983 tn?1401046428 I was just lying in bed thinking about all the times that I sabotaged myself on losing weight and getting healthier. I know I need to lose weight to be more fertile every time I put something fattening inside my mouth or decide not to go work out that day. I seriously need some stories , suggestions and/or some support here. I am actively TTC and weight about 220 pounds and have pcos as well. I’m Going to start my serious get healthy attitude right now.
Avatar f tn My son is sixteen years old and is losing weight at a rapid pace unintentionally. He has a stomach ache every morning which goes away eventually, and has lost his appetite. In April he weighed 165 and today (December 15) he weighed 140. He's over six-feet tall and is healthy in all other respects; however he seems to have lost the "pep" in his step and the brightness in his eyes. He stays in his room and sleeps and/or lounges at every opportunity.
1498386 tn?1403027653 I guess my main question is are there ANY success stories out there of women losing weight with PCOS and taking metformin? I could really use some encouragement. I want so bad to start our family, but if I am this uncomfortable being my weight now, I fear how I will feel being pregnant.
Avatar f tn Okay ladies ftm 37+2 to a sweet baby boy. Sunday I went to the hospital with contractions five minutes apart...found out my cervix was completely soft and I'm 1 centimeter dilated. Doc sent me home to try and get further at home since I'm a ftm and my water hadn't broken. So since turn I've been walking, having sex, doing lunges and squats, pretty much anything I can to try and progress things.
316002 tn?1246553137 d like to lose another 1/2 stone but ive been told when you have pcos the problem isnt losing the weight but mainting it so aim for a weight that you fell you'd be able to stay at. i basically cut out foods like cakes, crisps and chocolate, stopped drinking fizzy pop and alcohol. i do 45 mins on my running machine, skip for 15 minutes and do 100 sit ups 6 days a week.
Avatar m tn This is a pretty surprising reaction to being on a birth control pill. Are you sure that there isn't something else going on?
Avatar f tn I weighed 158 before i got pregnant and I'm 20+4 and weigh 144 i actually got down to 141 a few weeks ago i hate this bcuz i did everything to lose weight before i got pregnant and could only get down yo 158 and now that i actually want to gain the weight I'm losing it!
Avatar f tn I'm 20 weeks. I'd lost 15lbs at one time. I've gained back 5 lbs but my baby's just fine. Kicking as I type.
Avatar f tn Hi hun?
Avatar f tn Losing weight is ok as long as u eat and keep fluids down.I'm 23 weeks and only this week Iv gained weight.was same weight up till then.
Avatar f tn What to expect when you're expecting says losing weight in the 1st trimester is normal bc of morning sickness. You will just have to make up for it when you aren't sick anymore. If you can't keep anything down, you may need to see your dr incase you become dehydrated.
Avatar f tn It depends on what your starting weight is and the way you are losing it. If you have a higher starting weight and you are losing weight because you are eating healthier and exercising than your okay. If your doctor says its okay, you should be fine. Plus you have more than half your pregnancy ahead of you to gain some of that weight back. Don't stress, i am sure you'll be fine.
Avatar f tn Is it normal that I've lost like 10 to 12 pounds since my pregnancy I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I mean don't get me wrong I like the idea of losing weight instead of gaining it. But still concerned about my baby.
Avatar f tn I didn't start gaining until my teen weeks, even then it was incredibly slow. I was so eager to put on the weight lol, but now at 25 weeks I'm a few pounds ahead and need to try to maintain. There are some women, especially if they're over weight that will continue to maintain their pre pregnancy weight well into their pregnancy. I don't think JTS until your second trimester that doctors will be concerned if there's no weight gain.
Avatar f tn I was average weight, not overweight or underweight, but i haven't had morning sickness at all really :/
Avatar n tn I am 9 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy and instead of gaining weight I am losing weight. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting in the past 2 days but I am still losing weight. I am scared that this could affect my baby. Is there something wrong or is this normal ?
