Avatar f tn Has anyone done this diet and seen the results they were looking for? I'm very interested in Weight Watchers and would like to hear people's experiences to know I'm not going to wasting my time and money..... Any responses are welcome. THANKS.
Avatar n tn i also just had a baby, my daughter is 6 months old. and i couldn't lose weight while i was nursing, i was the same way with my daugther. i stopped nursing in october, right around the time i went to a weight loss clinic to help with my diet and started seeing a nutritionist. i also work full time, i try to walk as much as possible. i walk during my 30 min lunch.
Avatar m tn ve been following Weight Watchers for 2 months, very faithfully, writing everything down, staying within my points range and I haven't lost a pound! Up 1lb. one week, down 1lb. the next week. This goes on week after week and I stay the same. I exercise my butt off at least 6 days a week for an hour or more a day. Cardio/weight training and Karate 3x a week. I've had my Thyroid checked and everything is normal. I've done Weight Watchers in the past and have been very successful.
Avatar f tn 5mg by my doctor and was told to sign up for weight watchers. I have been doing this for 7 weeks now and I have lost 22lbs. But this week I started walking 45mins a day and Im well below my points for weight watcher and I have gained 2 whole pounds this week. Im doing everything right so why am i gaining if im taking the meds doing weight watchers drinking plenty of water and walking? its just so frusturating.
Avatar f tn Have you tried tracking your calories in the food diary so that you can keep track of everything that you eat? If weight watchers (a very low calorie eating plan) worked in the past, chances are, you are currently eating too many calories and need to cut back on the calories and increase your exercise. As much as I hate to hear it and say it.....it is calories in vs calories out. Maybe consider joining weight watchers again if that has worked in the past. Good Luck!
594189 tn?1386916607 Even if you manage to lose weight that quickly- your body probably wouldn't stabilize that quickly and you risk health problems and/or gaining it back.
2090601 tn?1334515062 I would think that anything that was specifically for weight loss would also send your meds thru quickly, and we want the opposite effect: we want to take food with the meds, to boost up the absorption of the meds, in our body. Dieting depletes the body.
Avatar f tn 3 years ago, following the death of my mother, my weight shot up and so i joined weight watchers. i successfully lost 2 1/2 stone. since then i have gained a stone back and so i rejoined weight watchers in Feb of this year. Since then, i have stayed exactly the same weight. 3 months ago my doctor kindly put me on to Orlistat, but even then the weight didn't shift.
443968 tn?1288612689 That's great "Heather" LOL! I eat my weight watchers meal around 10 am. I am finally losing it as well. I am down to 135. The day I actually got my bfp I was 129, a bit high for me because I got bucked off a horse and had to stop jogging. My realistic goal to start is 120 by this summer. Isn't it so fun to diet when the scale actually starts going down!
Avatar n tn 10 and weigh 22 stones and 7 lbs for the past 3 weeks i have been exercising every day, and have been on a liquid diet, where i am having 1 slimfast milkshake as my daily meal, in the first 2 weeks i noticed that i had lost just over a stone as i was originally 23 1/2, but in the third week i have noticed that i am not losing as much weight, i am currently doing 45 mins cardio on my treadmill, followed by 15 mins on my punch bag, and then i would do weight training for 15 mins.

Avatar n tn Ive been a weight watchers member for 9 weeks now and have not lost any weight. Im very frustrated I was diagnosed with Hashimotos/Hypothyroid last Sept and im taking synthroid as a result. My levels were normal ( 1.0) last December. Am i to expect SSLOOOOOOOW results because I am just frustrated. Is there anyone out there that has any suggestions of how im going to loose this weight (15 pounds)??
676912 tn?1332812551 I used weight watchers method to lose the almost 40lbs I gained with Franky. It's basically portion control and food choices. If you want to eat mcdonalds you can, but then that is all you are allowed to eat for the day pretty much...lol. I bought the book set on ebay for $50 I think, and never joined the group just did it on my own. It tells you all the foods points even for restaraunts, and how many you are allowed for your specific body type and goals.
Avatar f tn I wieghed 230 at my biggest and have lost a total of 64 pounds in the last 2 years, I did it all myself no weight watchers or anything. Just excersize and a major diet change. I have come to a dead stop though, I watch everything I eat and stick to a very strict calorie regimin and I excersize very heavily 5-6 days a week. I cannot lose anything no matter how hard I try! Does anyone have any advice!
2150264 tn?1337222044 Your body will actually store fat making it harder to lose weight. My advice is grill a lot lean meats and vegetables with little to no carbs. Weight watchers is a great program.
Avatar f tn Hello! I've also heard that losing weight can help with PCOS & with getting pregnant. My RE suggested that I lose weight to help with my PCOS. I've lost about 65lbs & I feel like it has helped, but we are still not pg because of male factor issues. We will be starting our 1st IVF cycle sometime shortyly. My only suggestion is to try & lose it a healthy way!
Avatar n tn Losing slowly and steadily by changing your lifestyle and diet is the way to go, but nobody can tell you how quickly the weight will come off. It depends on your metabolism, how much exercise you can handle, and how disciplined and knowledgeable you are about eating healthfully.

Avatar m tn Four weeks ago I started a fitness boot camp that combines high intensity cardio and circuit weight training. Two weeks ago I started weight watchers, which I have been following faithfully. I also do zumba classes here and there when I have the time. I can feel that I am getting stronger and able to do the exercises without getting as winded, however I have not lost any weight nor have I noticed any of my clothes fitting any looser.
Avatar f tn I'm 55 years old and I have always been slim but I weight 215lbs and I'm 5'6. I have always been used to eating one meal a day if that. I eat no bread or sugar... just don't like it. I have been walking a mile a day and trying to eat breakfast. I'm losing no weight, I feel tired all the time and I can't sleep. My blood pressure is good and I'm very healthy. If anyone has an suggestion...
649848 tn?1534633700 Hey, congratulations!! Are you still on the Weight Watchers? Staying the same isn't so bad; you'll start losing again.
Avatar f tn I just had bariatric surgery in January of this year. I'm documenting all I eat and how much I exercise. But I'm still not losing the weight I should. I did just turn 40, so could that have a factor in my weight loss. Not to mention I've lowered my calorie intake to 500 or less per day. What can I do to make my weight loss happen faster?
Avatar f tn Anyone have any good tips and or experiences for losing the pregnancy weight after giving birth?
527657 tn?1214051850 NOTHING has taken off my weight. I have joined Weight Watchers and tried Slim Fast, and the Atkins diet. All to no avail. I have dropped to eating only 1300 calories a day and still the weight stays the same on the scale. I feel like a fat blob and it's all because of Paxil. Unfortunately, the side of effects of going off Paxil are worse than the weight gain. I was weaned off by my psychiatrist four years ago and ended up in the hospital for a month. I immediately went back on it.
