11100381 tn?1436779908 I am at week 10, and instead of the morning sickness getting better, it's getting worse. I went from massive fruit cravings, to eating pancakes now and then, to eating portions about half a sandwhich, and now, I can barely eat a piece of toast. I was drinking ensure to make up for what I havn't been eating, but now I can't stomach even that. I feel so hungry and everytime I try to eat, my stomach screams in pain at me and I usually end up throwing it up.

Avatar n tn As the first comment correctly stated, losing weight fast doesn't last and leaves you weaker, which you don't want to be if you're getting ready for basic training. Why not wait to join the military until you're ready?
6520484 tn?1399082398 But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). Anyone do anything to lose the weight that really worked?
978106 tn?1285108401 I do not expect to lose alot of weight at a time. I want to do this slowly so it will stick, but the problem is im gaining weight. I lost 11lbs at first and have since gained back 3 in the last 2 weeks. I also have been more active over the last month, but admit not so much in the last week, I took a full time temp job and go to school full time so I have not had the time as of late. Help!
Avatar f tn Mines was natural and it was horrible, but I felt better way more quickly, then I did when I had an epidural with my other 2 children
Avatar f tn There really isn't a way to lose weight quickly, if you're going to it in a healthy manner. In order to have a body that's healthy and that you can be proud of, you have to eat healthy and exercise. For starters, give up sodas (including diet) and drink water instead. That alone could save quite a few calories, depending on how many sodas you drink each day. Additionally, eat a yogurt after exercising, instead of a candy bar, etc.

Avatar n tn Losing weight quickly is not a solution it will only cause you too gain more when you start eating normally again. You should aim to lose 2 pounds a week and can do that by simply eating a healthy balanced diet. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and try to have vegetables with everything you eat!
5147790 tn?1364304489 t that hypothyroidism, insulin resistance or PCOS, all of which can cause weight gain and/or make losing next to impossible. Good luck and keep posting.
1372716 tn?1278527329 Over twenty pounds in one month is probably too rapid a weight loss. I think a person can lose as much as twenty pounds in 8 weeks, depending on their starting pound and their follow-through. Here are some quick tips to get started: 1 - Weight yourself every day. 2 - Write down every single thing you eat or drink for the next two weeks. 3 - Drink 6 glasses of water a day. Believe it or not, these simple things should get you losing five pounds in the next two weeks! Check out www.
Avatar n tn I would suggest that if you want to lose weight in a short time, do not lose too much weight too quickly. For long term weight loss, losing the weight gradually is best. Your family doctor who knows your health history is the best place to start before starting a diet.
Avatar n tn I have recently lost a lot of weight and I have struggled with my weight for a long time but there is no quick fix, you need to follow a plan of healthy eating and exercise and I know that is not what you want to hear but losing weight is a life choice and you will need to think about what you eat for the rest of your life as your body has got to be with you for the rest of your life.
594189 tn?1386916607 Even if you manage to lose weight that quickly- your body probably wouldn't stabilize that quickly and you risk health problems and/or gaining it back.
Avatar f tn How much weight? And why rapidly? You probably know that losing weight quickly usually means you gain it back later because it means you have to do something fairly extreme rather than make lasting changes to your diet and how much you exercise. Slow weight loss stays off, quick usually doesn't.
Avatar f tn I breastfed and lost the weight pretty quickly. My niece said I didn't even look like I'd had a baby after she was born, but even with a quick weight loss some of my jeans still wouldn't button 3 months later. It took the longest for my hips to go back to normal, haha!
Brachiosaurus I need your tips and techniques for coping with a plateau. I was steadily losing 2.8 lbs/week for the last month but now my losing has come to a standstill. I am frustrated and disheartened but don't want to give up. What things have you tried to get the scale unstuck? Many thanks!
Avatar f tn So happy that I didn't gain any weight this week so far I have gained 50 lbs. I gained about the same with my daughter. I lost it all pretty quickly with breastfeeding yoga and pilates but now that I'm 30 I'm not sure how my body will respond this time around. I stay active now by taking very long walks at a moderate pace. I just hope to snap back.
