Avatar n tn I know the feeling. There is always a tomorrow or next week when it comes to proactively losing weight. And if I feel overweight then yes I want the weight gone yesterday. Some advice. Don't drop the weight quickly, this is rarely a long-term solution. If I took time and had the mental discipline I could have lost weight many times over. Do it once, do it right. Issues with weight and body image are taxing (emotionally, physically and financially) and demoralizing.

I went from massive fruit cravings, to eating pancakes now and then, to eating portions about half a sandwhich, and now, I can barely eat a piece of toast. I was drinking ensure to make up for what I havn't been eating, but now I can't stomach even that. I feel so hungry and everytime I try to eat, my stomach screams in pain at me and I usually end up throwing it up.

But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). 978106 tn?1285108401 however if you eat foods with, say, a lot of sugar or other simple carbs, you blood sugar will not be stable and that sugar is likely to turn to fat, much more quickly than lean protein and complex carbs (whole grains, nuts, seeds, etc.). Plus high sugar or high fat foods will leave you hungry much more quickly than the lean protein and complex carbs. Avatar f tn There really isn't a way to lose weight quickly, if you're going to it in a healthy manner. In order to have a body that's healthy and that you can be proud of, you have to eat healthy and exercise. For starters, give up sodas (including diet) and drink water instead. That alone could save quite a few calories, depending on how many sodas you drink each day. Additionally, eat a yogurt after exercising, instead of a candy bar, etc.

Of course I have a doctors note saying I'm pregnant and can't be losing lots of weight so my weight doesn't help or hurt the group. Anyways, my sister is in the group as well, as the official weight recorder. She is on my case about my weight constantly!

You should aim to lose 2 pounds a week and can do that by simply eating a healthy balanced diet. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and try to have vegetables with everything you eat!

I am 20pounds more than my ideal weight and of 30years.I have stopped all junk food for last two weeks and its lack of time for me to exercise.I have started taking 1tsp of flaxseed and pinch of cinnamon starting from tomorrow. Heard they would help in my insulin resistance.
Avatar f tn Have you thought of keeping a food journal, if even for a couple of weeks, to make sure your getting enough calories and the right kinds of foods? You could also measure yourself to see if your losing inches instead of weight. Don't forget even if you know what your doing your body sometimes takes a little longer to figure it out. Don't stop what your doing.
