495284 tn?1333894042 Yeah - when my appetite crashed I used ensure or the walgreeens brand of liquid nutrition.....it is important to maintain nutrition and hydration...and keep up the vitamins. I also think that the amino acid protocol (link at bottom right of page) is valid after stomach and abdominal troubles slacken up.....feed your head and body. You may want to try melatonin, sleepytime tea (celestial seasonings) or benadryl for sleep - the calcium/magnesium will help with legs and creepy skin.....
Avatar f tn Every time I go to the doctors I keep losing weight. I just lost five pounds when I should be gaining weight? Also I am already starting my weekly check ups and I am only 34 weeks ?
Avatar f tn I have also lost 3 inches around my bust but gained 2 inches around my baby bump within the last 2 weeks! I am plus size so losing weight is exciting but is it NORMAL!? I feel fantastic no more morning sickness. So where is it going?
Avatar f tn Is anyone else losing weight? I am 38, 23 weeks along and overweight. My first 12 weeks I was very nauseous, but tried eating small amounts often so baby got adequate nutrition. Well I am not sick anymore and I am still losing. 14 pounds so far. The baby is very active, I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this.
Avatar f tn I was losing weight mainly because of the headaches, and my work was beginning to suffer. I went to a nutritionist regarding my tiredness and weight loss. The nutritionist committed me to one month of perfect eating, sleeping, routine walks and no alcohol. After the month I was symptom free. No headaches, great energy, and the muscle aches have subsided. I've been maintaining the proper diet, sleep, walking and moderation on alcohol.
Avatar m tn Hello! I am a 25 year old female. I have a history of anorexia and bulimia since I was 14 - in the course of 4 years my weight went down to 40 kg and then up to 68 kg, for a height of 165 cm. In the last 5 years I got back to a relatively normal eating pattern (no more diets or binge eating, obsessive exercise etc.). In the last 2-3 years my weight stabilized at 54-58 kg.
Avatar f tn I'm 10weeks pregnant and I'm losing weight. Theres a noticeable difference in my theighs my back and my stomach. I read that if the baby gets its nutrients from my fat its toxic to the baby. I'm doing all i can to eat. Eating has become a job to me because I'm so nauseous 24/7 i literally have to force feed myself.
Avatar f tn There could be a variety of reasons that she is losing weight and falling because of her weakness. The vet would need to determine if the situation is a medical one, or the mare is just not getting enough nutrition. Pregnancy and nursing can take a lot out of a mare. During this time, nutrition requirements are different than if she were not pregnant/nursing. As well, there could be a problem with her teeth, and they would need "floating" by the vet.

Avatar n tn Again, you need to study nutrition, because diet is the most important part of losing weight and keeping It off. As for your weight, you're not obese, you just need to shed some pounds, but if having less fat is a goal as well, that would involve burning off more foods before they turn to sugar in your body and store as fat and doing more exercise. Resistance training is good for toning a soft body into a firmer body, while cardio is great for burning off calories.
Avatar m tn Well, I know you say you don't have time to get to the gym, but that is what will boost your appetite and help build the muscle you're looking for. Even if you can't do it regularly, try to at least go for a jog around your block once or twice a week or do workout videos (like the well-known P90X videos) that are quick to whip you into shape at home. As for meal plans, combining complex carbs and protein is your best bet for gaining muscle.
Avatar f tn I had this problem I had to go go 3 doctors including nutrition. I was losing weight rather than gaining. I am 34 weeks and have put on 6 pounds. I started putting on weight at my 6 month. You have to eat when you get hungry you usually have a 20 minute time span to eat before that hunger goes away. Eat more things with alot of cals like peanut butter bread, eggs, chicken. I love eating Nutella with my bread every night:D don't worry so much you will start putting on weight soon.
Avatar n tn Let's see a 10 yr old cat that's losing weight and losing hair. This, to me, sounds like your cat has an overactive thyroid. Try doing a google search or yahoo search on hyperthyroidism and see if the symptoms fit. There's also a possiblility of kidney disease, as well. That could cause weight loss, too, but not hair loss. My main suspicion is hyperthyroid disease. This can be extremely dangerous because the heart rate increases big time. This can cause heart failure.
Avatar n tn t so concerned about increasing calories but more so cutting out sugars, greasy fats, etc... I would take into consideration what your current weight and body type is. I eat so I don't dry heave or throw up...
Avatar f tn I am trying to lose weight so I read about the kitchen sink. Is there anything I should add or subtract? How many ounce should I drink? Currently I drink 20 oz.
658757 tn?1397796878 i am 26 years old, and i probably only weigh 100lbs. i lost 35lbs after my first daughter was born, and when my second daughter was born, i only weighed 113 lbs delivering her. i have endometriosis, and cysts on my ovaries, but i am not sure thats why i am losing weight or can't gain it. please help me.
Avatar f tn I joined a gym and exercised for a year but did not lose a single pound. I am a vegetarian. I diet but instead of losing weight, owing to heavy workout and strength training I got slip disk in L4 and L5. I was on complete bed rest. Ever since I have put on weight. I joined a slimming program but there also instead of losing eight I gained 9 pounds. I have tried everything. I do not have thyroid. My PCOS tests were also normal. Still I cannot lose weight.
Avatar f tn Try small meals throughout the day. If you're getting full faster, it could be you just don't have as much room with baby getting big. I haven't gained any weight yet (18 weeks) although I am gaining size, or rather my weight is moving to my belly. I think because I'm eating better than I was before I'm gaining and losing weight at an equal rate. That could be what's happening with you.
Avatar f tn No not really. I'm 14 weeks and 4 days and each doctor visit I've been losing weight. Not a significant amount but I have. I asked if it was a problem and they said no, but if they got concerned about it then they would speak up. If you're concerned then ask your doctor.
