Thyroid tests in December came back with high levels of Anti-Thyroglobulin AB 35.3, High T4 Free 1.75 and low TSH .01. My doctor put me on Nature Thyroid and also began working with adrenal issues. Thanks for the comment. I'd like to say the ones in my neck are extremly movable, and seem to get bigger and smaller. I can push them too the left side of my neck anytime. I'm getting more worried because of these mouth bumps, and now what feels like a hard spot in my armpit. Everything I do goes against it though. I'm not losing weight, I'm gaining weight. I don't have night sweats, or chronic fatigue. Everything is pretty much just there, and I seem to live a normal life.
I think we're on the same page. Now that you say it, claustrophobia is probably the right word to use. I don't have any thyroid problems as far as I know, but the feeling is around that area or right on it, not sure. I have to "cover" my neck/thyroid with my hand to get rid of the feeling we're talking about. Do you have any idea what this is all about?
When I do a more vigorous exam on her, I can actually feel another enlarged node on the right, as well as two more in the chest area. They are quite large, ranging in size from a grape to a golfball. They do not seem to be tender at all. I am going to do some research on canine lymphoma. Is it common in dogs this young?
The last coupke days,I have felt odd in the neck throat area..like there is a lump im there.You know how they feel your neck and throat when feeling your thyrroid.Also i jus went to a wedding and we noticed my face looks rounder and kinda like i have a double chin...you know im on meds for my thyroid..any ideas what this feeling would be? It can also be due to superficial nerve compression (lateral femoral cutaneous nerve), that comes from the hip area and gets pinched. This condition is called meralgia paresthetica and is often due to weight gain or wearing tight clothes and belts. Losing some weight or wearing loose clothes and belts often helps relieve the pain/numbness/tingling. Also injection of lignocaine (anesthetic agent) at the site helps. It can also be a simple muscle pull.

t seem concerned, but as a mom I am. Last night I felt another swollen node in his groin area, again it is not fixed. He is very active and seems perfectly healthy as he is gaining weight and devoloping as he should. Your Thyroid could be not working properly. I was losing my hair & gaining weight rapidly & found out that my Thyroid was to blame. That is why I take a synthetic hormone for my thyroid now.

I have had a constant Migraine for the last 6 1/2 months, large lymph nodes in my neck more so on the left side.. pain in my neck and shoulders, feeling of deafness in my left ear for around a minute at a time with a buzzing sound, random "moving" pain throughout my body, constant back pain. blurred and moving vision at times..
I agree with grannieannie -- don't take phentermine while nursing........ in fact, I doubt seriously that you will even be able to find a reputable doctor who will prescribe it, since you are breastfeeding.
You say you are counting calories, so I have to ask what types of food you are eating. You need to eat foods that take longest to break down in the body -- lean protein, high fiber. The longer it takes your food to be digested, the longer you will fell full.
I had partial thyroid lobectomy in 2007 due to goiter and benign nodules in right lobe. I now have a mass (possible scar tissue) on right side and benign tumor on left side. Since biopsy with ultrasound, I am prone to loss of voice or hoarseness that will sometimes last over one week. In 3 1/2 months, I have lost my voice 3 times. Is this common?
t that uncommon since the growth spurts cause either weight gain, or length gain, but in my experience (3 kids too - 16, 18, 23) they never happen together. My kids have gained 3-4 inches in height, while losing 2 lbs in weight. It all evens out in the end!
The most important indicator will be her behavior - again, learned from years of raising kids... one with asthma, psoriosis and ADHD!

Also I throw my neck back alot because I always get shivers up my neck and sometimes I feel somthing role in the back of my neck. My neck crams when I throw it back now because I do it so often. In Febuary I was at a swim meat and my neck hurt so much I couldn't move. It was a pulsing stabbing pain that moved up my neck to my head on the left side and started hurting on the right until I put ice on it. Could that be connected to nerves???
