Avatar f tn I'm 18 wks & I've been losing weight & then gaining it back in my belly so I've stayed the same, my doctor seems pleased though cause I am slightly over weight pre preg :)
Avatar n tn if i had focused more on my health and less on my weight, i would have been happier, healthier, less injured, and a stronger dancer and athlete. You are an excellent weight that is very low for your height, and if you are active you should work on maintaining a strong healthy body, not necessarily a small body. if you are worried about your image, focus on the image, not the numbers on the scale. muscle really does weigh more than fat.
Avatar f tn So I'm 7wks4days and I've lost about ten pounds in less then a month. I have really bad nausea. Is it normal to lose that kind of weight?
Avatar f tn My doctor said It was normal change of diet mixed with me being a bit bigger. I have since gained the weight back and a littlw more.
Avatar f tn I lost 10 pounds In less than a month but i had problem getting food into my system because of all the queasiness but weight loss during the first trimester is normal as long as you make sure to drink your prenatal vitamins, that will help you a lot with all the nutrients you and your baby need during weight loss.
Avatar f tn Ill be 6 months this month should I be be concerned that I'm not really gaining weight?
Avatar f tn I do feel losing 15 kg in 3 months is unrealistic if you plan to do this healthily. I've lost 15 kg but it has taken me 12 months. However, it hasn't been an onerous task, whereas diets I've done in the past have been. This time, I changed my life style as well as my eating habits. I haven't cut out chocolate altogether, and I cut it down gradually (which is why it's taken 12 months). I found that the craving for it dissolved over time, and now I rarely eat it.
Avatar f tn I weigh less now then before I had my daughter at my 6 week check up I was 10lbs less than my pre pregnancy weight. I only gained 2lbs my whole pregnancy tho. With my son I gained 15lbs and lost 10lbs at my 6 week check up. I didn't do anything after either of them to lose the weight.
Avatar n tn Fighting through the sluggishness and fatigue of hypothyroidism is difficult, but adding daily exercised can be a great aid in losing weight. If you aren't currently exercising, start with an easy walk. Get plenty of rest. The National Sleep Foundation reports that people who sleep less than 6 hours each night have a higher body mass index than people who sleep 8 or more hours.

Avatar f tn I agree with Barb135 losing weight in a month is not a magic. Exercise and diet plan are the most important things to achieve your weight goal. Exercise plays an important role in maintaining a healthy body, and it makes it possible to create a calorie deficit and lose weight without starving your body.
Avatar f tn ve been steadily losing weight over the past few days even though I eat at least 3 meals a day (3 normal portioned meals, or 5 small meals). When I first weighed myself when I found out I was pregnant, I was about 145. Then when I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago I was 140, now I'm 137. Anyone else going through weird things like this? Oh and keep in mind I'm constipated, so I feel like I should weigh more?
Avatar f tn First of all, you might get more responses if you posted on Type II forum, as this is Type I. Also there isn't a lot of traffic here in general, so I suggest you go on to a board with a lot of people who are considering these issues and you will get a lot more info. Two good ones are: TuDiabetes.com and Diabetesforums.com Just to give you some general feedback, you don't mention what your medication regimen is or if you take insulin.
978106 tn?1285108401 I am taking in no more than 1500 calories a day, most days around 1200-1400. I do have a cheat day once a week and allow up to 2000 calories that day. I do not expect to lose alot of weight at a time. I want to do this slowly so it will stick, but the problem is im gaining weight. I lost 11lbs at first and have since gained back 3 in the last 2 weeks.
Avatar n tn Thank you so much, thats a lot of really great advise! I'll definitely start doing these things, and in a month or so I'll try and remember to let you know how its working for me, again thank you, and I'll look into a colonic... I think my body could use a good cleaning.
Avatar f tn Anyone else experienced so much weight loss in a month? I am worried I am losing a lot.
Avatar f tn The title of you post says you want to lose weight in a month... do you really think you can lose 35 pounds in one month? It's not going to happen. At 15, your body isn't even fully developed and trying to lose mega amounts of weight is equivalent to yoyo dieting. If you start that at your age, you will have a terrible time maintaining a healthy weight as you get older.

Avatar n tn I lost 21 pounds. I have been so sick. I'm finally feeling better at 17 weeks and have stopped the weight loss.
Avatar n tn s keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn Anytime you reach 11 or more lbs in a month i lost 19 lbs in my first trimester and was hospitalized for 3 days because if the severe nausea i had

I only use ones from the library because they are free and if I don't like it I can bring it back. There are some just for your mid section. Look for Core or Ab workouts. If you Google stomach exercises they will pop up everywhere. I also believe that it sometimes depends on what type of food you eat.
