Avatar f tn Although I am not in graduate school I am in RN school right now. I am due in November and have not told them at school yet. There was a girl a few semesters ago that got pregnant and they treated her the same way you described above when they found out. I will be done in May 2010 so I don't have that much more to go but I am planning on getting my Masters in about 1 year so I will have a little one running around.

Avatar n tn I'm 18 and halfway through my senior year. Finding out I was pregnant was a huge surprise for me and I've been worrying about school. I'm not sure if I should finish off on independent study or not. I'm about 10 weeks and have been having nausea and feel so tired all the time. I know school is going to be hard for me. And I'm due in July so when I graduate in June, I'll be pretty big. I'm scared of judgment and stress highschool can cause. Advice?
6520484 tn?1399082398 You can do it. Im in my last year of nursing school. I graduate this year December 17. This quarter has been ok i still have a 3.7 gpa. Just been tired and sick especially on the days i have to do a 12 hour clinical shift.
Avatar f tn What to expect when you're expecting says losing weight in the 1st trimester is normal bc of morning sickness. You will just have to make up for it when you aren't sick anymore. If you can't keep anything down, you may need to see your dr incase you become dehydrated.
1110747 tn?1295844043 I'm in the same boat you are as far as not understanding the weight gain, I'm in grad school and at my heaviest weight, hopefully others can shed light to what they have done.
Avatar f tn Hey I'm a nutrition major soon to graduate in may and I think I can help ya ! My advice is to first start with your diet. You should try to stick to a diet where you aren't consuming more than 1800-1900 calories a day. You can still snack while you study but try healthier options like yogurt nuts or apples which will help you feel full bit with low fat and high protein and carbs.
Avatar f tn Anybody going to school throught ur whole pregnancy? Im 33weeks & 5days , my semester doesnt end until mid november.. im due on oct 31. Im so scared im going to go into labor during school .
Avatar f tn Wow all you ladies are so lucky on how soon you can return to school. I am going back to school but I just don't know when because I have 2 kids that will be in school when I have the baby and no family cab help with that baby or picking kids up from school and the school I am going to go to is 45 minutes away. But hopefully I catch a break and can get some help!!!
Avatar n tn s keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn I lost 10 using the gym and pool before my struggle with tachycardia got worse. I agree that you need motivation but I also think you need to enjoy exercise. I went with a friend and had lots of fun. Not sure if it's a coincidance or not but I lost the 10kg before my sister join us at the gym. I have a lot of anxiety around my sister as she's a controling person and given any chance she will try to control me any way. I stopped loosing weight once she joined us.

Being pregnant makes me not even want to do the assignments but I want to continue to stay on track in order to graduate on time. The classes are fast pace 8wks each month.

3106038 tn?1346813169 But I was already behind in school and I can graduate if I go to summer school but I already have a hard time doing school work I have no idea how I'm going to when the baby's here. I know I have to and will find a way. But I'm getting way to frustrated with it as it is. But I guess that's what I get for getting pregnant my senior year. Sorry kind of just a rant.

19740770 tn?1483557078 Many meds do cause weight gain in some people -- you can tell if your med is one of them by looking on the manufacturer's website or looking at a site such as WebMD. But your excuse doesn't hold water -- people who go to university probably have more work than any on-line offering, as the courses are usually more rigorous at top universities, but people still find time to go out and play. I always did, even when in graduate school.
Avatar f tn Okaew , so i live in VA and my baby father lives in NC but i am still in high school , should i move to NC because thats where my support is or should i stay here and move when i graduate in June even though im due Jan ?
Avatar f tn m currently raising 4 children, in school full time, while my husband works full time and goes to school part time. We're expecting our 5th in March and don't plan on deviating from our current arrangement. I'll graduate next Fall and he'll graduate 2 years later. It's hard but completely worth the effort. I just wish I did it sooner.
5154541 tn?1366808691 My grades and my future mean everything to me. In HS, I always tried my best, I had friends and a social life. But in college, I have nothing-not even good grades. I've never had severe anxiety or depression like this ever in my entire life, even when I was going to therapy nothing was working. I screwed up SO bad because of anxiety and the depression, my grades suffered terrible. I know it's less than a 2.5 though and yes that is bad. But last semester I did awesome!
9121436 tn?1407979502 Is anyone else finding it impossible to get their usual grades in college while pregnant? I swear I have taken two tests and got the same grade on them no matter how much I study. I'm not doing horrible buy nervously want to keep it up just in case. This is my last semester and o have to pass!!!..
Avatar f tn I'm 25 years old, 20 weeks to the day, and I'm pursuing my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a minor in sociology.
978106 tn?1285108401 As for exercise, get in what you can. Take the stairs, park far away and walk to the store, school, etc. Or call up a friend and take a stroll around the neighborhood. You don't have to kill yourself to get a decent amount of exercise. If you can exercise, by all means, do. But don't stress yourself out over it. Remember that stress itself can cause weight gain.
