Physical: Morning - 10 minutes yoga. Afternoon - 5 minute stretching, 1 hr power walking, 5 minutes stair laps, 10 minute 10-20 arm weights, 50-100 push ups, n crunches. Evening - 10 minutes yoga. *minimum of 4 days a week* I am 190 lbs n I want to lose 70 lbs in 1 year.

Problem is I am never hungry. I eat a small meal at lunch time and feel completely stuffed the rest of the day/night. Anyone have any suggestions?? I diet but instead of losing weight, owing to heavy workout and strength training I got slip disk in L4 and L5. I was on complete bed rest. Ever since I have put on weight. I joined a slimming program but there also instead of losing eight I gained 9 pounds. I have tried everything. I do not have thyroid. My PCOS tests were also normal. Still I cannot lose weight.

With all that exercise, you should be able to lose weight, but then you probably also have a lot of muscle, which could tend to keep you from losing pounds. A good thing to do is to track your measurements to see if they show changes in your body composition.

Avatar f tn As the previous comment said 5kgs is way too much in one week. But I did lose 3kg in my first week and then the second I lost 2kg but this is only what they call 'water weight'. Breakfast should either be cereal/fruit or yogurt. Lunch should be fruit/ sandwich(no Nutella)/ salad or maybe even some vegetables. Dinner should be vegetables, potato or maybe some fruit?
