Avatar f tn If you want to lose weight in a healthy way and have a better chance of keeping it off for good, losing weight gradually is the way to go. It took me a long time to realize that, but once I started taking things a bit slower and doing it the "right way" I was finally able to lose the weight I needed to. A few things you can do to drop probably about 5-10 lbs really quickly is to limit your sodium and alcohol intake and increase your water consumption.
10286987 tn?1410261849 It is your life and you need to be positive and own it. You need to sleep, drink water and avoid sodas, fast food and everything you know is not good for you. Understand that it is not a to do list that needs to be given to you. You have to take responsibility too. The doctor will indicate to you based on height, weight, and present medical conditions how much you should be eating. Don't cheat, no pills, no powders and make this a life style change.

Avatar f tn I am losing large amounts of weight very quickly I cant keep anything including most liquids down for over a month now. Avatar f tn Losing weight is not easy. Go online use your weight and height and fine you BMW and what it should be. Then if you are serious diet and exercise will work to lose pounds. That means sacrifice of fun foods and being tired and sweaty from exercise. Stay away from fast foods sugar drinks sugar snacks. Eat protein and lots veg. Snack on fruits and health stuff. Stay away from nuts. Best exercise is hiking a trail. Do it so you sweat at the end. Maybe 2 miles first then 4-5 everyday.
Avatar f tn I had a lot if weight loss initially too and the no vomit pills. I decided not to worry about it unless the doctor mentioned it, and I finally asked too. They said I was doing fine and I had a similar concern about not gaining fast enough, and they have made no mention that I'm behind in any way. I think you'll be okay, just hang in there. I hope your vomiting goes away soon though, it really is the worst.

Avatar f tn Hey yall, I've lost about 10 pounds in 2 days and I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I haven't been eating much because I'm so worried about what's good and bad for the baby. I have awful anxiety and depression so I over think and worry about everything . I haven't been taking my anxiety medicine due to risks of harming the baby and I think that's why I can't eat and am losing weight so fast. Is this dangerous or will it get better with time ?
Avatar f tn I eat leansgain intermittent fasting style (16 hour fast/8 hour eating window), avoid added sugar from my diet, eat below 100 grams of carbs a day, and eat more protein and fat especially saturated fat. I do weights twice a week and cardio but I'm interested in HIIT as well. I did the advanced version of HIIT on my bike but whoa I wasn't ready for that lol.

6520484 tn?1399082398 I had my son on the 7th and have lost about half of the weight I put on. 13lbs of baby/amniotic fluid/placenta and 12lbs of water. But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). Anyone do anything to lose the weight that really worked?

Avatar n tn Why do you want to be underweight? If you love sports you most likely have a lot of muscle mas making up your current underweight BMI. Get a fat percentage measurement done and you may find that you should actually worry more about properly nourishing and taking care of your body's needs than losing weight. Don't hurt yourself, and your body will continue to play sports. Underweight is not good. http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.
Avatar n tn Milk isn't good for you anyway, so that's no loss, and it doesn't really add weight all that much unless you eat a ton of it. But here's the thing -- unless you have a physiological condition that prevents you from absorbing the food you eat, and that is a condition that exists, eating more of anything will help you gain weight. The more food you eat that metabolizes quickly into sugar or contains high fat will likely help you to gain weight.

Avatar n tn I have been a diabetic for 26yrs (I am presently 29), and have tried desperately to lose weight. I have been on different types of insulin (currently prescribed Humolog and Lantis), and have tried working with nurses specifically involed with diabetic nutrition, but, it seems like an endless cycle in regards to losing substantial weight. So, I am hoping someone out there can help me. I'm looking for information on the effect of diet pills on type 1 diabetic's.
Avatar f tn The challenge is not so much losing the weight but keeping it off. Only serious lifestyle changes that include a balanced diet and exercise will help you to effectively manage your weight. Nobody wants to hear that but it's true. I suggest mutual support groups and counselling to help you explore the reasons why you over eat. Most of us suffer from past traumas, depression and anxiety.
