Avatar n tn You don't really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.
Avatar f tn I'm almost 19 weeks. I've lost quite a bit of weight during the pregnancy. Around 23 pounds actually. I'm starting to worry the baby will be malnourished. I'm trying to eat more but I get sick. Still haven't felt movement either.
Avatar f tn just wondering if losing weight would stop me from getting a baby belly? Or if ill still get a baby belly despite losing weight?

Avatar f tn Is your doctor concerned? How fast did you lose this? 5 pounds isn't much, and you're still early. Most weight gain doesn't occur until later in the second and third trimester.
Avatar f tn ve weighed about 159 and have been maintaining that, which is a 29 pound difference from my pre pregnancy weight. I went to the doctor the other day and had lost 5 pounds. Is this okay for my third? I eat but I honestly am just not as hungry this last trimester like I was the others, probably mostly because I feel I hardly have any room for food. Anyone else lost weight in their third tri?
Avatar f tn It depends on what your starting weight is and the way you are losing it. If you have a higher starting weight and you are losing weight because you are eating healthier and exercising than your okay. If your doctor says its okay, you should be fine. Plus you have more than half your pregnancy ahead of you to gain some of that weight back. Don't stress, i am sure you'll be fine.

Avatar f tn So I had an ultrasound today again, I'm about 11 weeks. In the last month I've lost about 8 lbs. I was a little bigger before my pregnancy. I haven't been vomiting or anything but I've been losing weight. The baby's heart beat and everything was normal. Have any of you other ladies lost weight during pregnancy without throwing up? I'm kind of worried.
Avatar f tn Is anyone else losing weight? I am 38, 23 weeks along and overweight. My first 12 weeks I was very nauseous, but tried eating small amounts often so baby got adequate nutrition. Well I am not sick anymore and I am still losing. 14 pounds so far. The baby is very active, I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this.
Avatar f tn Alot of people who are obese tend to lose weight early annd then start to gain it back as the baby grows.

4347786 tn?1357713425 A LOT of women lose weight in their pregnancy from morning sickness, at this stage your baby is getting plenty of nutrients anyway. Try eating a little here and there, fruits, apples especially, ginger ale and water really went down well for me with my first pregnancy. Make sure you're taking prenatal vitamins so your body is well nourished whether you're eating much or not, and try to stay hydrated, that's most important. I hope you feel better!
