Avatar f tn Hi I been working out for 2 weeks have not lost 1 pound??
Avatar f tn If all you care about is losing weight then running should be your main priority. I hate running, as do most people, but it is worth it. If you can, pick an alright time of day, I usually run before bed or when I am at the gym. You pick a reasonable distance, and run it as much as you can, with walks in between. Eventually you will notice you can run the entire distance, and you may add laps. Try to do this every day, but you may need to add breaks in between.
559862 tn?1311516637 I been working out and i hope to conceive at the same time well i also belong to spark people and one of the girls there just recently had a M/C cus she was working out and the test was negative!! So im just scared with the workouts if i do get lucky enough for a BFP i might not find out in time and if so i would feel really really bad if its my fault! I hope though the girls were right and something else must have been wrong for it to happen like that!! What do yall think?
Avatar f tn I do. I started dieting in earnest this summer and lost about 5 pounds. I thought it was 10, but the scale said otherwise. I'm running now 3 days a week-6 miles running/6 miles fast walking. I am now REALLY seeing a difference. At first I seemed to gain weight, but my pants are loosening dramatically and I'm getting great results. The only way I've ever lost weight dramatically is by exercising.
Avatar f tn It's possible that if you're exercising, your body could be getting smaller, even if the scale isn't moving. I have to clarify CRSeaside's comment.... muscle doesn't really weigh more than fat. A pound is a pound, no matter what it's made of. I, typically, compare muscle and fat, with rocks and feathers. The molecules of a rock are packed so densely, that a 1 pound rock is usually not going to be very large.
Avatar f tn So before I found out I was pregnant I was in the process of losing weight and exercising daily. I had just finished one program and had started turbo fire and I'm wondering if it's safe to still do? Doctor won't see me until I'm 10 weeks so I can't ask for advice from them until then. Thanks in advance!
87651 tn?1259602403 Wow, I am so glad it is working for you. I may have to up my dose and will be going in for more blood work today. Thanks for the information.
172023 tn?1334672284 The purpose of exercise should NOT be about losing weight. Its essential to our bodies that we exercise to maintain our cardiovascular health, first and foremost. There are other reasons to exercise, great reasons, but simply to exercise thinking "Oh, I'll lose weight" should be erased from your mind. Do it to feel better, not to get into a smaller size pair of jeans.
1286518 tn?1271857815 I started to working out about 6 weeks ago. I am 6' tall, my start weight was around 200 and I am now around 193-194. Some days I feel slim and some days I feel extremely chubby. For the past 6 weeks I have been consistantly working out 5-6 days a week. I do about 30 minutes of cardio and circuit train in the weight room. I started out using P90x as a boot camp but am doing my own thing now.
583580 tn?1231136383 I was just wondering if anyone out there works midnights and had trouble losing weight? I work midnights 4 days a week and I want to lose weight but I'm worried that working midnights might work against me in doing so. I've tried losing weight in the past and have not been able to do so but I'm keeping fingers crossed that 2009 might be different for me.
Avatar n tn I am a 27 year old female, healthy overall. I started working out again (off for about a year) I never gained weight from not execising. Now working out about 4-5 times a week. I 've been working out for a solid month and not one once. I weigh myself the same time with the same clothes on. I have been having some GI issues lately, so I don't know if that is contributing or not, I thought I would lose weight having loose stools for a week, but still nothing.
Avatar f tn s not a magic pill, I am eating way less than before and better but just not losing weight. I know some people get an actual list of foods to eat from their doctor but all I was told was to eat my normal food just less of it. I work out 6days a week something I didn't do 2months ago and still not losing weight with exercise either. If anybody knows of something else I could do or try please let me know.

Avatar f tn I worked out and ate less like you did, I am a teenager, I am 5'7" and was 170 lbs, then I lost weight by just excercising because of this fun dance team Ijoined, which I find quite odd because I still eat the sam junk that I did when I had a sedentary lifestlye. Now it is summer and I am 5'8" this year(I get taller every year) and I weigh 150 pounds.
Avatar f tn ( I'm 3 months & 3 days & I have gained 23 pounds!! I am very devastated & cry myself to sleep every night! Don't get me wrong my baby is the biggest blessing that has happened to me!
Avatar f tn What can I do to lose weight if nothing seems to be working for me? I started taking the phen pill 37.5mg and a B12shot two weeks ago, my doctor only gave me a 30day supply since he said its more for obese people than overweight people. Im 28yrs old, 5'3" and started the pill at 150lbs, the first week I went down to 145.1 by the second week I went back up to 146.3 does anyone know why im gaining?
Avatar f tn I was recently told I have PCOS and diabeties my husband and I really want a baby but the doc wants me to get my weight down and my a1c lower I was wondering how other people out there have lowered their a1c and lost weight
Avatar f tn some ways to raise metabolism are drinking green tea, coffee, and just working out, each time you go for a run your metabolism will rise a little. also start doing lunges and squats will work your bum and legs. walking is also really good. i was 82kg with the same butt and thigh problem i walked 1 hour everyday for 2 years and got down to 55kg. went from a size 14 to a size 8 and yes my butt looks a hell of a lot better!
Avatar n tn I did crossfire and my doc told me no weights till after the 14 week mark and then talk to my coach about pregnancy and training lighter weights to keep pregnancy safe. So coach said I can train with empty bar which would be a 15th bar but not till I'm passed 14 weeks.
Avatar f tn t want to gain a lot of weight like I did with baby#1 (40lb). Any of u ladies recommend any working out routines other then just walking but wont hurt the baby??
Avatar f tn I did before pregnancy and I am still working out now at 24 weeks. I lift weights and go on the elliptical as well as hike outdoors! I love it and it has kept my weight gain on the low side!
Avatar n tn My pharmacist also insisted that I am stressed out and I told him that I am NOT! My life is just not stressful. My biggest concerns here are my extremely high cholestrol, bad LDL levels which I read can be caused by hypo. I also experince weight gain , low libedo, and of courrse fatigue. My TSH was 14.77. I desperately want to get things back in working order and lose some weight. What do you think.?Should I start the cortef back up?
