4528412 tn?1357069833 It took me awhile to lose my weight. got the depo shot 6 weeks after birth. BIG mistake! Went 3 rounds after i quit that and lost about 10 lbs without trying. Then after dieting, watching what i eat/ drink, i finally lost all but 10 lbs. i was 120 prepregnancy so i wond up being 130. Grapefruit works wonders and so does gaterade. After gaining some weight back, i started walking everyday. got up to two hours a day. Then i was also drinking atleast one energy drink a day.
Avatar f tn I put on 37lbs with my son last year. I lost a lot of it during delivery and the weeks following. Then I did next to notjing and went back to my normal diet and was back to my prepregnancy within 8mths. I just wanted to focus on my baby so didn't worry that much about it. This time ive been more careful tho and have only gained 12lbs so far at 32wks so I'm hoping its mostly baby.
Avatar n tn I was 126 when i fell pregnant the first time. Got up to 155. After the first week post partum i was back to prepregnancy weight (after having a 10pounf baby which helped ;) ). With breastfeeding and good genetics i got down to 110 which im at now with my 2nd pregnancy. My belly was never taut again and still have a bazillion stretchmarks but i grew my son and im proud of them. Hard work, movong and eating healthy, breastfeeding and genetics were what did it for me. Everyone is different.
Avatar f tn I heard breastfeeding helps you lose weight after you have your baby.. Has this helped anyone?
Avatar f tn Yes it's normal especially if ur on ur last month.. baby is swollowing the amniotic fluid. That's where the lost in weight comes from. We don't produce as much to replace it after a while cuz baby is getting ready for delivery.
Avatar f tn I had the same issue. Reason I was losing weight was very specific to me and not likely the same reason as you. But my doctor recommend supplementing my diet with an ensure/boost to ensure I was getting any missing nutrients.
7136384 tn?1390142888 Oh wow im not the only one the doctors look at me so weird when i tell them im 4 and a half months hate it as long as everyones healthy :)
Avatar f tn So my dr told me that I am losing weight today at my appointment. I know its natural in the first trimester but my dr is concerned and says I need to start gaining. Problem is I am never hungry. I eat a small meal at lunch time and feel completely stuffed the rest of the day/night. Anyone have any suggestions?? I'm already high risk, I don't want anything else to happen too!
1293887 tn?1332702847 Maybe we could encourage each other to exercise, share meal recipes and our weight loss. I have lost about 6 kilos in the last few months but am struggling with the last 7 or 8. I would love to get down to maybe 60-62 kilos. I don't know what that is in pounds.
Avatar f tn I am a little bit chubby and i want to lose 9 kg in fastest amount of time to still be healthy. So i don't support starving and belive in moderation. I want to lose this weight till the end of 2014 anybody have any ideas?
Avatar f tn I lost 10 pounds In less than a month but i had problem getting food into my system because of all the queasiness but weight loss during the first trimester is normal as long as you make sure to drink your prenatal vitamins, that will help you a lot with all the nutrients you and your baby need during weight loss.
Avatar f tn It really starts when Ur prego.. When prego stay healthy. Eat right-protien fr meat, beans etc. drink lots of water, eat veggies & fruit. Limit all the bad food-sweets, sugar, fried foods, fast food etc. Also it's really good for both U & baby to workout. Nothing crazy-walk or get a prenatal workout DVD (can find on Amazon). When you have the baby you ONLY loose 15-20 lbs everything after that is Ur weight not baby.
1182418 tn?1292437001 im almost 37 weeks and I am still -9lbs from prepregnancy weight... the dr isnt worried about it bc the baby is growing fine but no matter how much I eat or what I eat ill gain a few lbs and then somehow manage to loose them..
Avatar f tn It is normal to lose around 5 pounds after the first trimester. This is mainly because your body becomes familar with the new hormones and fluids that started grpwng rapidly at first. But overtime it begins to learn how to elevate them out. As soon as you reach your 36th week, which is when baby starts packing on fat, those lost pounds will come back fast and rapidly.
Avatar f tn When I was fully healed and feeling up to it I wrapped him into a baby carrier and went for nice long walks. Lost the baby weight without drastic measures but it took some time. Slow and easy does it - your body needs a chance to recuperate and it needs calories and protein to heal. So don't try to change things too quickly after giving birth. You don't need to be model-perfect a month postpartum... that's dangerous to your body.
Avatar f tn Any good tips that help you get the weight off quickly after pregnancy? Besides the obvious .. Eating healthy and working out lol ...
Avatar f tn But thats definitely gonna have to wait a bit longer after my baby is born... maybe getting in the horrible tanning bed again!
6520484 tn?1399082398 But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). Anyone do anything to lose the weight that really worked?
Avatar f tn I'm having such a hard time losing the weight I gained when I was pregnant. I used to be very active and drank a lot of water, now I just want to lay around and don't drink water like I used to. I'm slowing getting back into the habit of drinking water more but I don't have the energy or drive to exercise. Any advice?
11100381 tn?1436779908 It's funny, but I love bananas and the baby hates them, so I get nauseous wenever I try to eat them. On a good note I am now 29 weeks and the morning sickness ended around week 22. Yeah, it took forever but now (according to doctors) my weight gain is back on track.
