Avatar f tn I am breastfeeding my daughter now for more than 12weeks and just by doing that I have gone back to my pre-pregnancy pregnancy weight within 2 weeks and that's after a c-section. I'm on no special diet, I eat whatever I want whenever I want. And I'm constantly hungry because of my body generating milk. But I must say, I was lucky to not have picked up alot of weight during the pregnancy.
2188958 tn?1346444891 with my first in 2008 i lost 25lb or maybe a little more same with my 2nd one in 2010 and now after this pregnancy, my daughter is 21 days old now and i lost 35lb already so i got like 8lb more to lose to get to my pre-pregnancy weight.=).
Avatar n tn I was 126 when i fell pregnant the first time. Got up to 155. After the first week post partum i was back to prepregnancy weight (after having a 10pounf baby which helped ;) ). With breastfeeding and good genetics i got down to 110 which im at now with my 2nd pregnancy. My belly was never taut again and still have a bazillion stretchmarks but i grew my son and im proud of them. Hard work, movong and eating healthy, breastfeeding and genetics were what did it for me. Everyone is different.
Avatar f tn I don't stress I over losing weight but already lost 25 lbs I'm breastfeeding and that enough helped me lose weight. My son is 2 months now. Never worked out. But I do drink lots of water and watch what I eat. Also I wear a waist cincher from Time to time. I'm sure if you worked out a little ( since recommended anyway ) n wore a cincher on a regular basis then you would be back to your body in no time.
5891248 tn?1406410864 I haven't had a period yet! But with my first pregnancy with my daughter I lost all my baby weight a week or so after delivering, but with this pregnancy my son I haven't lost any weight yet. But since I always been small the thickness looks and ffel great. I hope you and your princess are well!
Avatar f tn m not sure about the belly bandit thing, but I do know from experience the best way for losing weight after pregnancy is breastfeeding and a healthy diet. Your body will burn upwards to 500 calories a day just exclusively breastfeeding..
6520484 tn?1399082398 But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). Anyone do anything to lose the weight that really worked?
1715474 tn?1318189449 ] Second, like the previous poster said, losing weight while pregnant is harmful to the baby because as you get rid of the fat deposits, toxins are released into the body being harmful to the baby. What you can do is just make wise eating choices. I was overweight when I became pregnant and since I was very scared of getting much bigger I cut out all soda and juices, sugary sweets and chips, and it helped.
Avatar f tn no dont take that while your brest feeding what suppose he starts to lose weight or his bowel movement are out of control...DONT DO THAT!!! you want to lose weight change what your eating but dont take a diet pill what ever you take it goes through the breast milk...No dont you make me scared..change your diet...
Avatar f tn Looking for some recommendations on some good effective birth control after pregnancy that's safe while breastfeeding! I'm really not a fan of the pill... And looking for something long lasting and something that doesn't make you gain too much weight because I really need to lose weight after this pregnancy!
Avatar f tn My cousin was but her doctor told her she needs to stop because she is losing weight fast due to lack of nutrients but if you are gaining weight and not feeling weak you should be fine.
Avatar f tn Before anyone just glances the subject and freaks out, I am not getting a tattoo while I'm pregnant. But I have been planning on getting my next tattoo for a long time and am getting sick of waiting haha. I plan on breastfeeding, and I've read that it's safe to get a tattoo while you are. I plan on waiting about 6 months or so. Anyone here gotten a tattoo after having a baby? If so, how long after did you wait?
Avatar f tn Are you planning on breastfeeding? I was 134 before pregnancy and I'm 172 now.
Avatar f tn To go home I would suggest pjs, maternity clothes or a dress. Asfor losing weight after it depends on the woman even when breastfeeding. When I breastfeed I lose a chunk and then get stuck at a weight until I stop. Some women breastfeed and drop the weight in a few weeks.
Avatar f tn How many of you mommies have lost y'all baby weight??? What are y'all stories what did y'all do that was most effective and is it true that breastfeeding helps you to lose weight?????
Avatar f tn m just wondering how long it can take for you belly to go down and to lose the weight after my pregnancy? I know that my body needs to recover before I can start exercising after and everyone is different. But how long did it take you girls?
8793709 tn?1409594060 is it true that the more you gain during your (first) pregnancy, the less likely you are to get back to your slim, pre-pregnancy figure? and is it true that if you don't shed your excess weight within a certain time after baby's born (like 3 months, or 6 months), you'll eventually find it harder and harder to get back into shape at all? this is what I've heard. any thoughts and experiences ladies?
2169899 tn?1354674056 I did weight watchers after 4 Weeks to lose the ”weight” and eat healthy. Their program has modifications for breastfeeding... I had to stop ww because I was losing too much (2-3 lbs a week, and even when I tried to do the maintaining instead of losing).. And you know what?? I still lost 1-2 a week!! I couldn't keep my normal weight I like to be at for months and I ate all the time... So, for me it does... It happened after both pregnancies...
Avatar f tn It would be wrong to advise on proper diet to someone who is, first, breastfeeding, and second, apparently losing lots of weight for no apparent reason. After you see a doctor, I'd advise seeing a holistic nutritionist. Congratulations on your new addition.
Avatar m tn congratulations on your new baby. now, losing weight after a pregnancy is never easy. remember to start off easy and slowly add-on tasks. watching what you eat and making sure you eat healthy meals/snacks is also very important, especially if you are breastfeeding. you want to make sure you're consuming enough calories and nutrients to keep your body going as well as to make sure your milk supply is good for your baby.
Avatar f tn breastfeeding is a wonderful way to help loose weight, once bub is here everytime you put baby to breast make sure you have a full glass of water, and eating healthily as well will help :)
266539 tn?1281402152 I only lost maybe 7 lbs. when I came home; I was really swollen from the IV, but a few weeks later I had lost another 20 lbs. Everyone is different. Breastfeeding helps with losing weight, but we shouldn't stress much over it. Eating right and exercising when we get our doctor's approval should take care of the rest.
