Avatar f tn I dont get time to do exercise or may be im too lazy for it. So I want to start with some good weight lose pills. I saw online about a weight lose pill 'Adipril' but I am not sure whether this pill is good for me or no. Any suggestions ?
Avatar f tn With all due respect, can not recommend any diet pills to anyone. The only true way to lose weight is through healthy nutritional food, moderate exercise, and making a lifestyle change. Diets and diet pills simply do not work. There is no quick fix but weight loss is most attainable. If you'd like support in losing weight naturally, would be happy to be of assistance. Best wishes ... to your health ...
Avatar f tn Well, technically speaking, slimming pills do make you thinner, more haggard and unhealthy. They make you lose weight by suppressing appetite, causing indigestion, preventing absorption of nutrients, and other such drastic routes. Though you lose weight, the weight loss is not healthy. Yes, there are drugs to treat morbid obesity, which work more or less on similar principles but in a more scientific way, and are useful only in those really obese.
Avatar f tn I know what it's like to be a teenager, looking to lose weight fast. Don't take pills! It will mess up your metabolism for life!!! Trust me!!! I was you 20 years ago.
764218 tn?1234569759 The safest way to lose weight is by eating healthy and exercising. I have tried weight loss pills with absolutely no results and awful side effects.
Avatar f tn I would not suggest that a 15 yr old use diet pills of any kind. If by chance they would help you lose some weight (most of the time they don't work), you will only gain it back once you stop taking them. It would be much better is you incorporate a sensible diet and exercise into your routine to lose weight, so you will be able to keep it off. Feel free to read some of the other posts and health pages to get some ideas on how/where to start on a weight loss journey.
Avatar f tn Most diet pills don't work, and if you do manage to lose weight on them, you will most likely gain it back if you stop taking them. No diet pill is intended to be taken indefinitely. Some are downright dangerous. You should read the ingredient label very carefully.
935532 tn?1244903992 I have been the same weight for 19 years give or take 5 lbs. I have done the gym thing and all the crazy pills. My doctor said I have been eating the exact same amount of calories everyday for the last 19 years. I think he is crazy!!! Is there anything else to try I am sick of the weight!!
Avatar n tn If you do use it and have problems then stop taking it and try to lose the weight in a different way. Good luck and hope all goes well for you.
Avatar m tn SOME SAY THE PERCOCET CAUSED WEIGHT GAIN. OTHER SAY IT CAUSES WEIGHT LOSE. WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW WHICH IS THE CASE. WORKS WELL FOR PAIN BUT WON;T BE ABLE TO KEEP TAKING IT IF IT CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN.
Avatar f tn what is the best weight lose pill out there to take. I have taken a few in the past. I'm just not sure whats out there and what is safe???? Thanks for the help!
Avatar f tn Following the rights diet and exercising daily could make you lose weight. Instead, starving is not the solution to lose weight. So, make sure you stay patience, eat healthy, exercise daily, and avoid eating junk food. This is my advise, buddy.
963126 tn?1249660165 m wondering, if I get off of the Implanon and on the Pill if I could lose some weight. They say some people actually lose weight while on the Pill and I think I was one of them. I have a steady boyfriend for a year now and we have unprotected sex. The doctor said for the Pill to kick in after I switch would take a month. I'm kind of at a loss at what to do. I need to lose the weight, but its so hard.
501796 tn?1253328394 I had lost a lot weight before I had her. Like 1 1/2 prior. But I used diet pills to help me lose the weight. So I was wondering if since me and my husband are ttc if it would make me unfertitle if I used diet pills again??
1222076 tn?1423027749 Hi Curly03 Diet stuff doesn't work very well not for permanent weight loss. Even if you lose some weight using these products, once you go off them, I've heard you usually gain the weight back. I'm sure you're aware of this, but it's a good idea to tell your doctor you want to go on a diet and ask your doctor what he/she thinks about that. With atleast 30 pounds to lose, you'll probably want to ask your doctor for a referral to a dietician.
Avatar n tn I assume you get regularly tested for thyroid to make sure that isn't the cause of your weight gain and you don't need an adjustment in thyroid meds. Insulin doesn't make people gain weight, though sometimes people lose weight when initially diagnosed with very high numbers and when their blood sugar gets under control they continue eating the same way and gain weight. Another cause of weight gain in Type 1's is insulin resistance.
Avatar f tn m not great with having the will power to do all the exercising to lose the weight but eventually my legs got really fat and my belly was no help so i started doing 20 sit-ups a night 40 the next and so on, for my legs i bought Nivea firming good-bye cellulite gel-cream and Nivea firming body oil, there so good.
Avatar n tn It is not a good idea to try to lose weight using thyroid meds (synthyroid). These meds can have severe side effects when used unnecessarily. The best way to lose weight is still the old fashioned way, of restricting calories (especially sweets and carbs), and exercise. You can start by cutting out soft drinks, fruit juices, candies, cakes, and strictly limiting breads, pasta, rice.
Avatar f tn t work by themselves - you will need to eat sensibly and moderate exercise. In addition, most often any weight lost with diet pills usually comes back once you go off them. You will need to make changes that will sustain you over the long haul. Would love to see you take twehner5's advice and check out some of the journals and posts from others who have been successful. And don't let her fool you, twehner5 has done quite well for herself too.
Avatar f tn I've wanted to try some sort of diet pill that will either speed up my metabolism or reduce my appetite to help me lose weight along with my excercise (3-4 times a week). However, I'm hesitant to putting extra chemicals and whatnot in my body. Also, they tend to be expensive so I want to get something that actually works. Any suggestions??
5298012 tn?1366230319 Hey guys! Day 11 here! Feeling pretty good. Depression/anxiety is almost nonexistent and physical w/d is pretty much over, just waiting for the sleep pattern to return to normal. I was taking about 6-10 norco 10/325 per day. My question is, did you guys experience any weight fluctuations while on hydrocodone? I have always struggled to keep weight on, but noticed I lost weight I really couldn't stand to lose while on these pills.
Avatar f tn Anyone else find yourself lose weight without trying after stopping opiates. I used the pills for a little over a year and i went from 134 pounds to 147 pounds. 4 days in I've lost 8 of that due to the nausea and swim kicked the habit two weeks ago after gaining 30 pounds that last year on them and they have lost 15 pounds. Just curious. I know I was eating non stop on the pills and I'm hoping that will also be a thing of the past.
Avatar f tn Im trying to lose weight i have two boxes of diet pills i am wanting to try one is slimquick and other slimquick hoodia does anyone know if it works
Avatar n tn i remember when you fist came here you were so worried about quitting them ... you are stronger than those pills, don't let your fears overwhelm you, face them, this is what anxiety comes from... from our fears, start eating healthy each day, take each day at a time, you won't put on weight when you stop taking the pills, this might be one of your fears but if you take the right amount of calories, there is no way you will put on weight, make a plan and follow it...
Avatar f tn You might be healthier, or lose a bit of weight and secondarily lose a small amount of breast, but not nearly enough to qualify as a reduction.
1 alligator No but I have read the book the doctors diet.
