I was taking Loestrin Fe and had alot of spotting the first month (not necessarily while having sex). I also had more spotting in the third month. I told my doctor & she said that the hormones were too low for me. I would let your doctor know and see if there might be a better one out there for you.

I've been taking Femcon since my last cycle. I liked it better then Loestrin, since while on Loestrin I had breakthrough bleeding every single day. (So annoying.) But even with Femcon, I had breakthrough during the third week, but I was reading that a lot of women get breakthrough bleeding during the first couple of months.

I had a period between the first and second pack for 4 days with 3 days of spotting before (Feb 4-10). I had unprotected sex on the 11th and 14th of Feb (my boyfriend pulled out). Then had break-through bleeding and it was like a period lasting from Feb 19-25- so I assume I am not pregnant from either unprotected days. Now here’s where I am stupid and am now worried. I am nearing the end of my second month’s pack and on Feb 28th and March 1st I had unprotected sex using the pull out method.

Hello. I am on my 3rd year of being on Loestrin 24 FE and in the first month or two I had the regular spotting and breakthrough bleeding. However, in the past couple of months I have experienced spotting and breakthrough bleeding all over again and that is not normal for me. What could be going on? I take my pill at the same time daily and there haven't been any changes of lifestyle.

Have any of you guys experienced this issue? I'm on a Lo Loestrin Fe, the smallest dose, I've been on it for about 2-3 months now, the first month was fine, no spotting. I'm supposed to take the bc continuously. When I got to the placebo pills and skipped them, I started spotting lightly around that time, about a panty liner a day of brownish discharge. Ever since then it hasn't stopped. It''s been over a month of the same kind of spotting.

I stopped taking Lo Loestrin Fe because of the spotting I had before my period. I am now into month 3 of not taking birth control and my body is acting weird. i have a lot of mood swings, food cravings, and sometimes a little bit of cramps. the first month i had spotting for a few days. the second month is was a brownish color not even for a whole day. is there any way i could be pregnant or is this normal?

I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe birth control from about 4 months now. The first month I got my period on schedule and experienced no side effects. The second month I had breakthrough bleeding for about 2 weeks in the middle of the month, but no period on the placebo pills. I'm 23 and on birth control (Loestrin 24). Normally my periods are somewhat regular, but really light and short. Last month I didn't have one, but I did have some slight spotting before my period was supposed to come. This month my period also skipped. I have no other symptoms of PCOS except some acne on my chin (but occasional breakouts are not uncommon for me, I have oily skin, plus an expired skin product and eating wheat with my allergy may have caused this).

This month Thursday was a normal day no cramps or anything. Friday I had spotting, maybe a bit of cramping but not a normal first day. I then started on another pack of pills, and have finished a week- and now I am spotting. Is this a normal reaction to BC pills???

It was stronger than my other pills and I did have the double thing the first month but the second month was better and by the third month everything was back where it was supposed to be. If you weren't having this problem on a different BC then you may ask if he/she will prescribe that one again.

Hi! I just started using lo loestrin fe in September 2013. I'm on my second month but in the first month I received my period in the second week. It lasted for like two to three weeks. Then I was period free for a week or so which was the two brown sugar pills and then the first week of my second pack. I'm now on the second week of my second pack and have received my period again! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?

So I was put on bc loestrin last month. So this is my second month on it. My periods have always been extremely regular. I am currently 4-5 dpo and I am spotting, almost enough to think my period is starting but definitely not that. This has never happened to me. Hi, I am on lo loestrin fe and i have been on it continuously for about two years and on the birth control I stopped getting my period. On Sunday I was sick and threw up for a while but it was later in the day at least 6 hours after i took my birth control pill.
