Hi, i have been on lo loestrin fe for 1 month. Today i am taking second brown pill, which is also the last one...i feel menstrual pain for a few days, but no menstruation. I am worried! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?
I was taking to Loestrin Fe for a while. I took it in the morning with water. I seemed to have a little bit of heartburn, but after I ate something it got better. I also was diagnosed with Endo. I had some problems with spotting for a while with Loestrin Fe so my Dr. switched me to a different pill. It's a generic version with more hormones.
I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe.
I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.
It's normal to not get a period on lo loestrin fe. I take it also and don't get a period. The dosing is extremely low so it's not uncommon. I am mid cycle tho and having period like cramps- I don't know what's going on with that. You should take a pregnancy test.

Yes, it is a little unusual that you started bleeding so early on after starting your birth control pills and that you have been bleeding for so long. It may be related to the fact that you haven't had a period for 2.5 years. Your uterine lining has been building up for 2.5 years. Remember normally, your uterine lining is shed every month. But you have not had a period for 2.
I've been on my bc (loestrin fe) for about 7 months now. I've never missed a pill but occasionally take it at a different time. Between 7:10 and 7:30. I know that that's alright but I go on and off with periods. Sometimes it starts with the white pills and sometimes the red and sometimes not at all. Hi! For the last two months, my period has been on time but instead of lasting 3-4 days, it has only been for 1-2. It's also very light, I almost never have to use a tampon. But it's concerning because I don't think anything is coming out. I'm getting my usual cramps and such but today (which should be my third day) I have translucent pink discharge instead of my period.

I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?
I started the birth control le loestrin fe at the beginning of August (but I didn't wait until after my period came to begin taking the pills) I haven't had my period in those last four months. I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. I was taking Loestrin Fe and had alot of spotting the first month (not necessarily while having sex). I also had more spotting in the third month. I told my doctor & she said that the hormones were too low for me. I would let your doctor know and see if there might be a better one out there for you.
So, I started taking Lo Loestrin Fe June 2nd. Also, I feel like I should mention this is the first time I've ever been on birth control. So this is start of week 7. And since July 7th or so, I've gone between spotting to regular period bleeding. (Not that i bleed very heavy at all, but still.) And along with that, I'm cramping worse than ever. Also, it's made me the moodiest most emotional person since the second week of taking it.

My gynecologist prescribed me lo loestrin fe to help with irregular and painful periods. I started taking it the first day of my period, Dec 25. I continued to bleed until Jan 20 (CD 27/the last white pill before the brown placebo pills) I also had sex on Jan 21at around 1:00 AM using the withdraw method correctly. I took a pregnancy test on Jan 28 and it was negative.
