Avatar f tn Did u have irregular bleeding before starting birth control? Any bleeding in between periods?
Avatar f tn I have never missed a pill, but I guess I could just be being paranoid. Loestrin gives me VERY VERY light periods anyway, and I've heard that even skipping a period on Loestrin is normal. I have taken my first inactive pill today so I guess I just need to wait it out instead of jumping the gun with paranoia. Thanks so much for your reply!
192270 tn?1216261777 Two missed periods and negative blood test. All while on birth control (Loestrin 24 started bills on 10/23 first sign of bleeding). Can I be pregnant? Thyroid and anemia test are negative.
Avatar f tn I've not had any problems with Yaz or Loestrin 24. I'm on Loestrin right now because Yaz made me pretty low emotionally. However, I think because they are so low dose pills, they shouldn't cause such a problem. I've heard bad thinkgs about Seasonal/ique, though. I dunno. I take Loestrin continiously and haven't had an issue, I don't see why you would bother with a pill specifically marketed as "less periods" when you can have them with any.
Avatar f tn I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????
Avatar f tn Hello, I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?
Avatar n tn ve been on loestrin 30 for over a year, and I started taking the pill to control mood swings and to get lighter periods. For several months my periods have been really light and only lasted 2-3 days, and this month I finished taking my pills on Friday 19th, and 4 days later I still haven't got my period. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for a few months, but I always took the pills at the right time, and very rarely missed one anymore.
Avatar f tn I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe for 7 months now, and I have semi-regular, light periods. I may have had unprotected intercourse on the 30th of September, but I bled on my placebo pills when expected, although very lightly. Could this possibly be implantation bleeding, or am I just paranoid?
Avatar f tn Iv taken tht birth control before but nothin like this ever happened to me i got my periods regularly bt more heavy periods than ever bt u sure you u took the bc a week before havin unprotected sex?
Avatar n tn All of them have caused me to have an increase in appetite, nausia, and some have caused multiple periods in the beginning (which I know is likely sometimes). When I am not on the pill I just feel overall 'better'. So my question is, what is the best kind of birth control pill that won't cause increasing appetites, multiple periods at first, and will still work as effective?
Avatar f tn Does anyone know when I should count/expect my next period cos if its from the first bleed I'm late!!! If the second I'm not!?
Avatar f tn Hi, I recently found out that my mom is bleeding between periods and she hasn't gone to the doctor about it yet. It has been going on for over a year now and it usually lasts up to a few days between her periods. My mom is turning 44 and is generally in good health. I'm worried about her as she refuses to go to the doctor. Please help!!
Avatar n tn I googled what it could mean to be bleeding in between and found that implantation bleeding usually occurs 4 weeks after conception and it's been exactly 4 weeks since I had sex = /
Avatar f tn Hi! For the last two months, my period has been on time but instead of lasting 3-4 days, it has only been for 1-2. It's also very light, I almost never have to use a tampon. But it's concerning because I don't think anything is coming out. I'm getting my usual cramps and such but today (which should be my third day) I have translucent pink discharge instead of my period.
Avatar f tn Ok, my obgyn put me on Loestrin 24 to help alleviate my severe cramps, which has worked. I have been on Loestrin since December of 2007. Even now, my periods are completely sporatic, and unpredictable. I averaged(since I started the pills) 1-2 periods a month, but they were and still are very light. But in October, I had three periods, no crapms, and all three periods consisted of a vinegary smelling dark brown blood. I even tried using a ******, and I wash down there every time I shower.
1552510 tn?1294194411 I am so confused on what this bleeding is. Implantation bleeding?...Ovulation bleeding?.....Cysts? so many different things on the web. I usually have a period at the end of every month and it stops at the beggining of the next month. My last period started on the 18th of Dec. of 2010 (which is kinda weird bc thats the middle of the month). I had really bad cramping which i usually don't and was breathing heavy but had a regular period just a little heavier than normal. Well Jan.
Avatar m tn I've been on Loestrin for about a year and a half now and I haven't had any problems. About six months ago I started skipping the placebos and starting a new pack, which prevents my period. About one and a half to two months ago, I was off the pill for two weeks until I could refill my prescription, and my boyfriend and I didn't use protection during that two weeks.
Avatar n tn Hi! Loestrin is a very low dose pill, and sometimes after you have been on it for awhile, the lining of the uterus gets very thin and bleeding becomes irregular. OR this could be a one time only thing, especially if you missed a pill or took one late. I would tell my patient to wait and see and if it happens regularly, you may need to swtich pills for awhile. Good Luck!
