Jerky and other dried meats are good as well. Also consider fresh fruit but beware tropical fruits (Mango, pineapple, papaya, etc.) these are particularly heavy on sugar relative to size. A small to medium sized banana or apple are always a good snack and don't spike your blood sugar.

Are shakes and water all you plan to consume? If so, that's not good or sustainable. In addition, weight lost too and not in a healthy manner will most likely be regained as soon as you start eating normally again, even if maintaining a healthy diet.

I lift weights all four days but not big weights about a maximum of 100 lbs via leg press or pulling a sled etc. He says to eat 95 grams of protein a day. I am 5'7" and weight 127 lbs. I keep hydrated. I am vegan and use a vegan protein powder to supplement 20 grams extra a day.

If you hold a fist with both hands and put the two hands together than that gives you a rough idea of the size of your stomach. Wow our stomach is smaller than we let it be as most of us stretch it out. Never let yourself get very hungry as that is why we overeat so take snacks of fruit and veggetables so you never get starving hungry.

Avatar f tn As far as vegetarian diets go, do you eat eggs or cheese or completely sustain from all animal products? Both, although great sources of protein, can be very high in fat. So maybe use only egg whites in baking and limit your cheese to low fat varieties. You may want to also think about what kind of oils you use and op for canola oil or olive oil. Also coconut milk/meat, nuts, and avocado are all pretty high in fats.

Avatar f tn My meal plan is breakfast I get 30 grams of carbs with no fruit and a snack 2 hours later containing 15 grams of carbs lunch and dinner I get 45 grams of carbs with a snack two hours after each meal. Snacks could be crackers with cheese or apples with peanut butter, just really watch your carb intake.
