Common Questions and Answers about List of carbohydrates molecules

carbohydrate

Avatar f tn For more then 20 years I have been having "molecules vibrations" ( this expressionis not even totally accurate) mostly in the Solar Plexus but also at time, in my legs, head, heart... This was acompanied, at times, with an under skin burn at the point that, for example, some mornings my face is so red that I have the feeling of having a sun burn. Added to that, tinnutus and a sound in my ear plus actually at times a big sleepiness..I saw many doctors had many exams... Nothing....
Avatar n tn I am looking for an online list of carbohydrates in foods. I see small lists, but nothing very complete. Have you found one? I have a book or two but I would think it exists online. Thanks.
Avatar f tn t determine your carbs by the number of calories. You have to determine how many carbs are in each serving of the individual foods you eat, as listed on the package/container. For instance a serving of bread might have 12 grams of carbs listed on the package. For help with the bar code issue, try asking your question in the Improve MedHelp Suggestions forum. The mods there should be able to help you. You can access that forum via the following link: http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn Perhaps the probiotics do offer some protection, however, I would suggest you do ENERYTHING possible to eliminate any gluten molecules AND any inflammatory factors from affecting you. There are more sources of gluten, than what you are aware of. Shampoo, creams, lotions, ointments, supplements, sauces and condiments (which may list gluten using a different term), playdough, envelopes... These are common. You can find a complete list here: http://www.celiac.
Avatar f tn Thanks for the suggestion. We have a food tracker on our list of to-do's and this would include calorie information as well as fat, protein, carbohydrates, etc. We'll let you know when it's available.
Avatar f tn whole grains cannot be identified by the color of the food, look for products that have 5 grams, or 20 percent of the daily value of fiber, per serving.
Avatar f tn For weight gain you should try taking adequate amounts of calories as suggest for the height, weight and type of physical work with slight increased amount of carbohydrates, adequate amount of protein, slight amount of fat and plenty of fruits and vegetables. If aiming at increasing muscle mass the protein content of the diet should be on the higher side. Eating junk high calorie food can help you gain faster but is not considered a healthy.
776302 tn?1241091853 List the foods we eat and the tracker can list the calories, fat calories, starch content, and protein amount of each food we list. That would be an enormous help to losing weight. Please let me know when it's up and working.
Avatar f tn I read that carbohydrates are the main source of energy, so it is important to eat some amount of carbohydrates daily so the body is able to function. There are different types of carbohydrates. For example breads, pasta, potatoes and rice and then there are vegetables and fruits. Can I obtain my carbohydrate intake just by eating (vegetables and fruits), or is it important that I also eat (breads, pasta, potatoes and rice in small quantities)?.
20620809 tn?1504362969 Here's a list of low glycemic foods... https://universityhealthnews.com/daily/nutrition/glycemic-index-chart/ The food is listed, along with the serving size in parenthesis, then the glycemic value. The lower the glycemic value, the better. There are a lot of other lists available on the internet - just do a search for "low glycemic foods". Most vegetables "qualify" as low glycemic, except things like white potatoes, etc.
463897 tn?1468013750 This report is nice but my doctor wants a full list of my blood sugar checks and the time of day. Not just the high, low and average.
Avatar n tn One theory is that habitual intake of simple carbohydrates means that the pancreas is always pumping out high levels of insulin to overcome the insulin resistance; this simply "wears out" the pancreas, and over time, the amount of insulin that the pancreas is able to produce decreases. Limiting simple carbohydrates and choosing foods that are less likely to increase blood sugar may help preserve the ability of the pancreas to produce insulin.
Avatar n tn Welcome to the gastroenterology community! Can you please list all of the foods you have tried eliminating. Also, have you tried a probiotic?
Avatar f tn HONG KONG - Scientists in Japan have designed artificial molecules that when used with rats successfully reversed liver cirrhosis, a serious chronic disease in humans that until now can only be cured by transplants. Cirrhosis is the hardening or scarring of the liver, and is caused by factors such as heavy drinking and Hepatitis B and C. The disease is especially serious in parts of Asia, including China.
Avatar n tn You still have not stated what specific type of medication for Hypo she is taking. There are several different medications. If she has been taking for more than a year and this is now just a recent event, you may I think want to look into the idea that the manufacturer of the generic T4 medication may have changed. You may have to ask your pharmacy to check into this.

10221785 tn?1410990458 I walked away with a ton of information, a two page grocery list, a meal plan, and tons of recipes. If you ladies have any questions I will do my best to get an answer for you. I learned a lot and suggest you talk to your doctor about meeting with a GD nutritionist. You won't regret it.

Avatar n tn Remember balancing the carbohydrates and protein is the key and you would required carbohydrates for continuous energy and also for instant day to day work so decrease taking simple carbohydrates as in sugars and try to consume them in fruits and complex fiber rich carbohydrates. Proteins you can increase a little by taking a glass of toned milk with your regular protein diet. With more of intense muscle building you need to take supplements as advised by your trainer.
Avatar f tn Small frequent meals, a healthy weight, less of sugary carbohydrates but more of fruits and vegetables may help. If it persists, check with your doctor for proper evaluation., Take care and best regards.
Avatar m tn Thanks for the suggestions! We are actively working on an enhancement to trackers that would allow you to have multiple trackers of the same type. A food/nutrition tracker is also on our of list of to-do's. We'll let you know when it's available.
256553 tn?1258883918 Thank-you for posting your question as I think many people misunderstand the low carbohydrate dieting. First off, Carbohydrates are our immediate energy and so without it you will probably feel like you are constantly "hitting the wall" and leaving your body in fatigue, dehydration (which gives the illusion of weight loss), energy loss, and excessive protein breakdown with a buildup of ketones in the body. Protein is NOT used for energy it is the building blocks of the body ie.
Avatar n tn Distressing heartburn is often the first symptom to disappear following withdrawal of carbohydrates from the die However severe, and even if made worse by factors like the back-flow of gastric juice into the esophagus in hiatal hernia, the chances of success are good. If patients come back with the complaint that the diet is no longer effective and their heartburn has returned, a closer look usually reveals that some carbohydrates have again crept into the diet.
