re probably going to get the B complex in a multivitamin without any added herbs from a GMP certified practitioner brand that uses the amount of B vitamins usually used for neuropathy. Since she's on cardiovascular medications I'd like to avoid possible interactions when we choose a multivitamin. She has also had triple bypass surgery and has some high blood pressure but is otherwise in very good shape and very active.
I have been taking 40 mg lisinopril for 3 months. It works on my BP but I am coughing and my nose is running.
t had any other problems with Lisinopril besides the cough and I am scared to change meds and take the chance of worse side effects. I am just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on Lisinopril vs Losartan to help me decide if I should change meds.

Hi, I was diagnosed in a ER with CHF a couple of weeks ago and the cardiologist I am to see is on vacation. I was placed on lisinopril, lasix, and propanolol as a preventive by my PCP while waiting. I have been coughing lately and I saw somewheres that coughing may be a lisinopril warning sign. Is this correct. I do not see the heart doctor until next friday for final diagnosis and future planning.

started 10mg lisinopril last month and have noticed a change in vision. In the past I have only required drug store reading glasses for close vision, but now I need them for reading things that are 3 - 5' away. Do your eyes adjust to this med with time, is it just something you should live with or is a change in medication required ?
i have major depressive disorder, dysthimic disorder, and panic disorder. i am on 10 mg lisinopril daily (blood pressure), klonopin 1 mg 3 x daily, pristiq 50 mg daily, lyrica 200 mg daily, protonix 40 mg daily, and 7.5/325 mg of norco 3 x daily. I've never had performance issues until a few days ago with a new relationship that i dont want to **** up because she is a very positive and awesome person. im freaking out about being 26 yrs old and having performance issues.
You have a lot of variables going on. Your blood pressure must run high overall? One reading wouldn't necessarily mean it's high. I was offered Lisinopril, I thought it was for high blood pressure, while I was hospitalized for a-fib last fall. I was already on an anti-arrythmic and a beta blocker and a couple of other unrelated drugs. Anyway they offered me Liprinosil and I declined to add yet another drug. My cholestersol is about the same as yours and I'm on crestor for that.
I have been taking Lisinopril for 2 years and since then my resting heart rate is between 90-100. Here recently though after I take Lisinopril it has jumped to 130 when walking 100 when resting. I take Lisinopril in the morning and my pulse jumps but at night it gos back to being okay (Lisinopril's half life is 12 hours). I haven't taken today because I was out but my resting pulse is 90 and when I went to WalMart it went no higher than 110 unlike 140 yesterday.
I have been working hard on my health and diet and just got clearance last week to stop taking the last of my meds. I took Lisinopril, Amlodipine, and Metoprolol. I was weaned off them all. I am now med free. Yay! Curious if anyone truly saw weight loss after stopping beta blockers.

Clonidine really is an outdated medication as far as BP goes, most doctors only use it as a last resort. It does have other uses for helping with opiate withdrawals, I also have hypertension and use clonidine after I had tried other meds that didnt help my BP. I was previously on clonidine about 3yrs ago for over a year and didnt have any side effects when I switched over to lisinopril, but after it and others didnt work I was back on clonidine.

20 mg in 7 am , and 20 mg Lisinopril in 7 pm (so total = 40 mg Lisinopril per day). During the day (systolic) hypertension goes 150-160 mmHg and only in 2-4pm it is 130 mmHg (and at 10-12 pm). What should be done for this patient. Maybe trying a diuretic (hydrochlorthiazid) and lowering the dose of Lisinopril? Lisinopril and Metoprolol when I left the hospital, now Lisinopril and carvedilol (coreg). seems like a relatively common combination.
On the 30 day follow up from hospitalization and another echocardiobram I was told my heart function was up to 30%. My lisinopril went from 10 to 20 mg. On my 30 day follow-up office visit from the following cardiocatherization I was told my heart was functioning at 25% even though I was feeling better than before I had the cardiac event in December. Even though I was feeling better the doctor increased my lisinopril to 40mg. I don't get it.
Be careful taking diltiazem (lisinopril). I was on it for medium high blood pressure for 5 years and finally stopped taking it because it had caused deep depression, not to feelings of suicide though. It seemed to build up, so be on the lookout for feelings of not caring and hopelessness. Now I'm on Verapamil and am doing OK except for the ankle swelling. Tried another CB'er (Cartia XT or Cardizem) and had the same edema effect.

t mention your age, if you smoke, drink coffee, etc, I can tell you that I have been struggling with high bp for 30 years and it is finally under control within the past year (150mg atenolol, 10mg Lisinopril, and several other heart medications) You should stay away from caffeine and call your Dr if you're that concerned or go to the ER.
But, blood pressure control is a tricky business and if they go to far the other way, you'll find yourself with extreme tirednes and syncope...
s picked about 7 hours after taking Lisinopril and was really bad at about 12 hours after taking Lisinopril. I experienced about 3100 PVC's during this 24 hr holter report of which approximately 1600 of them came in this 5 hour period between the 7 hour and 12 hour mark post Lisinopril. I do have about 20-80 PVC's per hour during the rest of the day. any thoughts???
I take Coreg(Carvedilol) and Lisinopril. I still want children very badly and was told that basically, there were meds that I can take instead of Lisinopril, but I would have to stop taking Coreg. Of course, I would just have to see how I would do without Coreg... Are there any alternatives to Coreg?
I am currently taking Lisinopril, 20mg. I take Lisinopril in a.m. without other drugs, vitamins. Within 2 hours and continues throughout the day, I am having overall weakness, cough, dizziness, legs feel like they are shaking inside, although not externally visible. B/P is sometimes 170 / 90 and other times 125 / 70 and anywhere in-between. Is there some other drug to control hypertension which does not have these side effects?
About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with hyper-tension. My Dr. put me on Lisinopril. Late last year (2014), I developed a dry hacking cough. My Doctor & I concluded that it must've been the Lisinopril. Then, I was put on
Losartan. Within 2 1/2 months my muscles started to ache which led to problems sleeping. My legs ( calves & hamstrings) would get very tight & I would need to constantly stretch.
Has anybody using Losartan experienced these side effects??
