Common Questions and Answers about Lisinopril brand name

monopril

Avatar f tn Perhaps I rambled on too long in my post....what I'm trying to figure out is if my metoprolol works as well as the lopressor (name brand) Considering the fact I've gone down hill with my EF since on the generic I just am wondering if that is one of the reasons. My dr swears all generics are just as good as brand names....guess I'm just looking for answers as to why I'm getting worse... Thanks though for your answer and yes will discuss (once again) with my cardio doctor........
Avatar n tn Could taking digoxin and lisinopril before I get up make me short of breath and wheeze?
Avatar n tn In the States I had a prescription for Lisinopril 20mg. Unfortunately, my stay got extended, and I am about to run out of that medication. Since I can't reach people or the doctor back home, could you advice which of the three I found online - Nivant 20mg, Zestril 20mg, or Lisoril 20mg, I should take. The rest don't seem to have the 20mg dose, although I could also double up on the 10mg dosage.
Avatar m tn My BP runs about 140/90 without medication. I am not overweight (BMI of 22, age 57). My GP put me on Lisinopril last year but switched me to Losartan after the Lisinopril failed to help. The Losartan brought my BP down a lot with a 50 mg daily dose. I was down to 110/70 and even 100/65 at times. I even got light-headed when I stood up quickly. The GP said this was normal and good. He likes my BP to be well below 120/80. So far so good.
Avatar f tn Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!
Avatar m tn I have been taking 40 mg lisinopril for 3 months. It works on my BP but I am coughing and my nose is running.
Avatar m tn Many weeks ago one of her doctors suspected neuropathy and recommended B complex vitamins but not any particular brand. Because the local pharmacies don't have a choice of GMP certified brands we're probably going to get the B complex in a multivitamin without any added herbs from a GMP certified practitioner brand that uses the amount of B vitamins usually used for neuropathy.
Avatar n tn I take 10mg of lexapro per day, plus 25mg of Hydrocklorothiazide, 50mg of Atenolol and 20mg of Lisinopril. When I started to take the Lisinopril, I would wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing and feeling as if I had a panic attach. I sucked it up and got used to the med over time and it stopped happening. My blood pressure is still not really under control, at the doc's office I am slightly up 135/89 etc.
Avatar n tn I had a total thyroidectomy 2 mo ago and have not felt right since 4 days of being placed on brand name these signs have started to decrease. If these are related do you know when I will feel completely better?
Avatar m tn It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.
Avatar n tn m going to save myself $200 and try to trust the generic, or buy the brand name again. Its just nice, a rare luxury for me to have a brand name medication of any kind and its the most important one for me. I trust the original maker very much. And here's my argument on the whole generic thing. Sure the FDA Tested a batch of each clonazepam generic maker's pills, but it has to be understood that not every single pill or batch can be tested.
Avatar f tn I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.
Avatar f tn So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
Avatar f tn Looking for good new...found out I am pregnant and am taking Lisinopril 10mg. Does anyone have any experience with this?
1210142 tn?1266077031 My name is Anatoly Petrov and I have I had a heart attack on 09/21/09. After my bare metal stents were clogged and I almost got another heart attack, a DES was placed inside those two. Since then I have been having chest pains. I am currently on Plavix, Aspirin, Simvastatin, Lisinopril and Carvedilol/Coreg/. Stopped Lisinopril for a little bit and felt much better- unfortunately my blood pressure went a little up.
Avatar n tn 20 mg in 7 am , and 20 mg Lisinopril in 7 pm (so total = 40 mg Lisinopril per day). During the day (systolic) hypertension goes 150-160 mmHg and only in 2-4pm it is 130 mmHg (and at 10-12 pm). What should be done for this patient. Maybe trying a diuretic (hydrochlorthiazid) and lowering the dose of Lisinopril? Please tell what do you think of the doses to start trying, how often and when during the day? (P.S.
Avatar f tn Lisinopril and Metoprolol when I left the hospital, now Lisinopril and carvedilol (coreg). seems like a relatively common combination.
Avatar f tn Off brand and name brand are the same... they have to be. Tums is safe during pregnancy.
