Popping in a few grapefruit after 6-7 hours of medication will not cause much harm. However, do not go overboard! Grapefruit can hydrolyse lisdexamfetamine in Vyvanse making more of it available. This may result in more harm than good.

Presentation
This is predominantly a tumor of adult women, with very few examples reported in adolescents. Patients typically present with a firm, palpable mass. These tumors are very fast growing, and can increase in size in just a few weeks. Occurrence is most common between the ages of 40 and 50, prior to the menopause. This is about 15 years older than the typical age of patients with fibroadenoma, a condition with which Phyllodes tumors may be confused.

Are they found in people with Autism Spectrum Disorders? I will type in exactly what the report says.... Will you please interpret it?
FINDINGS: The scalp and calvarium are unremarkable in appearance. There is no skull base mass. Minor enlargement of adenoids is seen. No significant sinus disease is noted. However, moderately pronounced right mastoid air cell disease is seen. Intraorbital contents are normal. There is no intra or parasellar abnormality. The pituitary bright spot is seen.
Recently an x-ray turned up a lesion on his right lung. A PT scan indicated a 3 x 5 cm nodule/mass in the peripheral tissue surrounding the lung. A portion which has pushed the lung inward slightly. The radiologist reported this a likely benign nodule consisting of fat.
A subsequent thin needle biopsy was negative/inconclusive (I was later told a core biopsy would have been required to rule out malignancy altogether).
Enlarged heterogeneous thyroid gland,2. Dominant 2.1 mass in mid right lobe 3,Dominant 3.4 X 1.8 cm mass in the left lobe. Further evaluation with thyroid scan recommended. Biopsy may be needed thereafter.
I am wondering about several things, Why is there no mention of these masses being fluid or solid? it seems like this is lacking in clarity and information. Is there a significant difference in the use of the word 'mass' vs ' nodule'?
I've asked this on the autoimmunity board, but I have been unable to get answers. I have popping in almost all the large joints in my body (shoulders, wrists, hips, jaw, neck). This all started three years ago (at 38 years old) with a sudden onset of joint pain. A few months later, my shoulders began to pop. This moved to my wrists and then other joints. My shoulders are the worst. They pop constantly when I stretch my arms out or lift things.
I received my pathology report today following a wide excision done on 8/7/08 the repot states: 10 Malignant phyllode tumor with sarcomatous overgrowth, extending to margin. 2) Residual malignant phyllode tumor, extending to surgical margin. Comment: The sarcomatous (stromal) component demonstrates increased mitotic activity ( greater than 20 mitoses/10 HPF's in areas.) nuclear atypiaand marked overgrowth.

Or you can look at DSM IV 299 for criteria for autistic spectrum disorders. I think it would then be useful for you to go through that with an appropriate professional to identify which parts of that criteria your daughter might fit. Take with you a list of behaviours you have noticed with your daugther that you think are autistic and also list your concerns. It is quite possible to have several autistic traits, but not enough of them in each criteria to reach a diagnosis.
How do you deal with a disorder that is treated with such skepticism? Is this on the autistic spectrum? Would a spectrum diagnosis help him with the school?
It is very common for children on the Autism Spectrum to have symptoms of ADD, ADHD, anxiety disorders. Many doctors are hesitant to give a dual diagnosis. Kudos to your Doctor! Has your doctor given you referrals to the nearest Autism Society yet?

9mm white matter lesion shows no contrast enhancement. No mass effect of edema. No other lesions seen. Could represent dymelination process such as multiple sclerosis, inflammation, infection or least likely nonenhancing neoplastic process.
Other than the occasional migraine in the last 5 years I have had no symptoms. I had no seizures no consistent headaches or pressure. Could this be a tumor? Or is it unlikely without symptoms after 5 years? What else could it be?

At school he is mainstreamed w/ services on IEP..School and his teacher who has many,many years of spec. ed experience has said to me "I'd be surprised if your son was NOT on the spectrum"..

My wife has a mass, they say is around some blood vessels. Don't know if it is cancer yet or not. They told us, if it wasn't cancer, there was nothing they could do. Is this true, or do we need a second opinon? She has to have a second bio, the 26th. This has been going on now, for 6 months. She has lost 35 lbs, in the last 3 months.
