Avatar f tn s changed from soy milk to almond milk and coconut milk and now regular milk throughout my pregnancy depending on what triggered my nausea). There's something in the milk that helps me keep it all down, and then it helps me fall asleep. I'll wake up sick feeling once in a while but fall asleep again, so it's not too bad. Best of luck!
Avatar f tn I.started leaking, pad wearing leaking at 23 weeks /: I've breastfeed all my kids and never leaked during pregnancy so this is new, lol. It's not milk that's coming out it's your "first milk" colostrum other wise known as "liquid gold" it has all the vitamins and nutrients plus more that you're baby needs for the first few.days.of life..

8892684 tn?1403993984 I did gummy vitamins. But try taking the pills with milk or Orange juice.
599170 tn?1300973893 I was put on potassium pills because of my heart and that was the only thing low when I had a minor heartattack. I have noticed that when I take the potassium pills I am more energetic all day long. If I try to take a multivitimin then it makes me sick or makes my heart race. I wish I could find one that I could take.
Avatar m tn we are strict vegetarian and we can not bring any nonveg item at home to eat, he was very nice for rice or chapati with milk even fruits or milkshake from last 2 weeks he doesnot like milk or even rice, we tried to give with curd then also no.he eat dry Rotis but if we give with milk or curd or with water he will not eat. now every time only dry item cannot be given some liquid should be taken, but he is not. even bread also he likes to eat dry.
1504850 tn?1290289880 Unless a person is really deficient in iron, I do not recommend taking it as it is hard to control, and, if you get too much, you can have numerous side effects. As to liquid or pills, well, the liquid is usually a little stronger as it gets in the system faster, so, I would say less is better, but, I would sure ask a pharmacist. As to the B12, well, that actually takes the place of iron in some instances, and I really do not think you need it while you are taking the iron supplement.
Avatar f tn m 38 weeks and 5 days, and I know and have been leaking colostrum this past month and a half, but today... that clear liquid turned pure white. I thought milk came after the baby was born? Does this mean my baby might not get ths nutrients he will need? Also, I seem to squirt now, a good two feet...! Anyone else able to do that right now? Oh man...
Avatar f tn My 7-yr-old daughter has had horrible constipation problems since the day she was born. We finally found a protein sensitivity formula that worked for her. We thought she had grown out of until it started up all over again. I stopped giving her milk one day and the constipation stopped. I then tried every type of milk that's available and nothing worked. I started giving her Vitamin D fortified orange juice and she got constipated again.
317245 tn?1258737545 The pediatrician said it could be a form of a milk allergy and to put him on soy milk. He has been on soy milk for a month now and the rash is gone but his stools are still horribly loose. In order to keep the stools from being completely liquid we have to feed him the BRATTY diet, and this only gets the stool to a "sludge" consistency not even anything remotely formed. He probably has 4 or 5 dirty diapers a day. I also give him a daily dose of probiotics.
Avatar n tn I make a smoothie with fresh juice from my juicer, almond milk or Silk milk as a base. I went to GNC and bought a product that has 900 calories and 50 grams of protein in a serving. I also bought some powdered vitamins to mix in it. I have several different recipes. She can still drink it but she stays nauseated all the time due to her stomach draining so slow.
Avatar f tn I'm hoping you can pinpoint why this is happening. About a month ago, I started having these shakes (from powder - adding almond milk, banana & a tsp of peanut butter) as a way to get vitamins/supplements from a liquid form ... instead of a chalky pill (which I've heard is harder on your liver.) They've ended up being a meal replacement because - 1., they're better than I expected, 2. they're pretty substantial, 3. I need to lose weight anyway so what the heck.
Avatar f tn As of a few days ago, my breasts are producing liquid (I wouldn't say that it's milk, but I wouldn't swear that it isn't either). I've also gone up more than a cup size already. It's not a lot as yet, but I wonder if this is normal or not. I also lactated for about a week and a half after a 9 week chemical abortion back in May of '08, so maybe I just start really early or something.
503607 tn?1275671579 I was told to make a special formula for her that had whole goat milk, liquid vitamins, and brewers yeast in it, then slowly introduce rice cereal with the formula mixed in...and then pureed foods like mashed potatoes, yams, wild rice and scrambled eggs...I refused to put her on reflux meds because they decrease the stomach acid and thus impedes the body's ability to digest and absorb vitamins and minerals...
Avatar f tn For the past few days I have been leaking a sticky yellowish liquid, what is it? I am in week 37.
1891853 tn?1344648442 I plan to breastfeed my baby, and since i'm already producing colostrum at 18 weeks im assuming I'll have no problem. I understand that the baby needs a vitamin D supplement since breast milk doesn't have it. Where do i get that and what is it? A vitamin or drops or something? i don't know what the vitamin D comes in.
Avatar f tn My doctor advises the Citracal Citranatal family of vitamins. They have different vitamins with DHA, Folic Acid and all the necessary vitamins for you and the baby. Here is the link for you to check it out. http://citranatal.com/Index.

9590250 tn?1452831684 How to increase milk supply? One breast isn't producing milk anymore, what should I do?
1288945 tn?1271972452 Does anyone have any recommendations on a multivitamin? I have been taking a liquid multivitamin called Live The Source, does anyone else take this?
534013 tn?1250201049 She is still getting some protein, vitamins and minerals and some fat in the milk. Kitten milk will help her boost her system. Keep us updated.
9700808 tn?1405488881 Lots of water and OJ. There for awhile prenatals actually made me sick so i switched over to the gummies. Eat tons of veggies and get a good night's rest. Milk too. They say try to stay away from whole milk because it's fatty. But any milk is better than none. How far along are you? Try not to stress.
Avatar n tn Yup thats the colostrum or otherwise known as liquid gold.
