Lantus can be left unfridgerated for weeks at room temperature and not be spoiled, as long at temperatures are reasonably cool, and the liquid remain clear. This is not, of course recommended. And not desirable. On the other hand, it will lose effectiveness, which means you may not be able to precisely titrate a dose. It's kind of expensive, so there is no need to discard it for such a short period without refrigeration.
Help me I had a skin culture done for Bacteria and it came back with
1) Klebsiella pneumoniae ( HEAVY GROWTH )
2) Escherichia coli ( HEAVY GROWTH )
Now I have taken Augmentin xr for 2 wks along with Gentamicin ont no change in skin color still red and when water comes in contact gets redder! So doctor now has me on Augmention 875 and gentamicin cream the dosage is augumentin 2x day and gent cream 4x days !

Well, Z-pack is pretty useless here. Mucinex...probably not much help. Ibuprofen is fine, but again, if it's not helping with the pain then your doctor is doing you a disservice by making you suffer.
Augmentin was a better antibiotic choice. There is a fair amount of resistance to Azithromycin (Z-pack) secondary to its popularity among providers...
No, fish oil needs no refrigeration if it's in gel caps. It's the flax seed oil that needs the refrigeration.

I'ts been two days, I still have the same diarrhea and the treatment should be until monday (the day I'll see my doctor). I'm really afraid about this antibiotic, but I know it's important to take it for 8 days. Do you think it's dangerous to keep with augmentin or should I stop it? It's already 4 days now with this really liquid diahrrea.

However, last week of Februaru I developed white spots at the back of my throat. My doctor said it was strep and gave me Augmentin which reduced the appearance somewhat but not completely. I got the covid vaccine astrazeneca, got a fever and the white spots increased once again (even worse). My doctor gave me Augmentin again for a week along with flucanazole. I’m at the end of the course of treatment. The white spots have decreased but some are still there.
Cod liver oil isn't the same as fish oil. Whole other ball of wax. Fish oil doesn't need to be refrigerated if it's in gel caps, but in liquid it should be, though not until it's opened. Flax oil should be kept refrigerated, but if it's in gel caps it doesn't need to be refrigerated until the bottle is opened. If it's just liquid, then it needs to be refrigerated all the way down the line, from manufacturer to retailer and in your home.
The flaxoil I take is in liquid form, and you just swallow it. NOT in your eyes, but that was a good question.
I would suggest trying the least invasive methods first, like flaxoil and humidifier...before you consider plugs. However, spend some time researching other options so that you are educated when it comes time to make a decision. Remember, every medical procedure has potential "side effects or a down side" . Forums are good to hear patient experiences.

Everyone, I got sudden cold, dry cough and high fever(101 - 102), it went for 23 days and came down with Augmentin after doing few blood test those ware normal. Then there was 10-12days i was batter and coming on routine. Again from last few days im having high fever (102 - 103)along with coughing that makes me to though up some chuck of food, some time thicky Yellowish greenish bitter test liquid.
So my question is whome I should consult as previously i did MD and other one MD-PA....
I actually just learned that my in-laws also used it for their colonoscopies and they said the pills were much better than drinking the liquid prep. So, as long as I can down 20 pills in an hour, this prep hopefully will be a bit easier since the liquid prep makes me vomit.

I have white/clear mucous and have used augmentin and azithromax one course after another (augmentin first and then azithromax) given by my doctor but the cough is not gone. I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

levofloxacin 500mg*2 griseofulvin 500mg*2 for five day and two tablets of fluconazole the problem dissapeared but after three days it was back i went to the clinic where they performed a urethra culture but the pus was too small and dry, was given cefuroxime 500mg*2 and 1 omatasin 150mg and cital syrup i never healed, this time i am on augmentin 500mg*2 fluconazole 200mg*2 per day and flagyl 400mg*3 per day there is still pus though little and scratching of my penis what could be the problem goo
she does not keep the pens that are being used, refrigerated, only the unused ones. Although even though they are not kept refrigerated, they do seem to keep her blood sugars under control. I wonder though if they were refrigerated would that make a big difference? I will call her physician if necessary. I only see her once a week, another nurse sees her the other 6 days.

The nausea stays with her until she has some food and liquid in her stomach. Many times, it subsides, but comes back when she moves around again. I am not sure why they bother to run the culture if they are going to give you Augmentin anyway...Oh well. My guess is that this is a viral infection, your description is more consistent with that. The two medications, Augmentin and Valtrex, do not interact and there shouldn't be a concern with taking both. I just doubt you need both.
4 days on augmentin 825 for a chronic dental infection (now a bone infection), I started having major swelling in my hands. This is new, I've never had swelling like this. Yesterday my one hand looked freakishly red and swollen. It was so swollen, that when I straightened out my hand (which was difficult), everything turned white, inbetween the redness.
Anyway, I tried going off the augmentin (I'm taking it in conjunction with clindamycin), and today I feel much less swollen.
I found out i have genital herpes, since then im on suppressive acyclovir but my question pertains to a clear liquid discharge im having that causes me to wear a pad like i am having my period. it is completely clear, no smell but there is tons of it even to gushing. Is this normal, i am having an outbreak now and have been on the med for 22 days with it not getting any better at all. i burn and itch but there is no yeast as i did go to my dr but had to see the nurse..
