Two days later 4 or 5 of similar new ones showed up, each has yellow liquid inside and very much resembles herpes cold sores. I went to the dermatologist and he said it was herpes. I did not do any blood test though.
However, I read on some posts that the first outbreak of oral herpes is rarely on the chin, cause it's not as sensitive an thin as the skin on the lips or lip line. I never had an outbreak before though.
I keep getting red ulcers on the inside of my cheek. I also have burning mouth syndrome And have gotten small canker sores but no sores like the herpes pictures that I have seen on the internet. I have gotten little red bumps around the tip of my tongue. What are some of the sores typically associated with herpes inside the mouth?

Do my symptoms point to HSV-1 or anything else or am I suffering from anxiety and I am just now noticing the really tiny white bumps on my lips? They don’t look like the pictures of herpes on the web, it looks more like pictures of fordyce and they don’t hurt or itch, but I have also read herpes doesn’t present the same way on everyone. From reading this forum, my risk should be low from the protected oral, but what about the grinding on my leg or kissing?
The lesions are now beginning to recede although many remain itchy and blistering. But, now I have several small sores on my lips, gums, tongue and the sides of my mouth. They are white but do not look like canker sores. They look more like patches of dead skin. But they hurt like hell! I cannot eat or brush my teeth. What should I do? Would baking soda help? Any info would be appreciated. How can I get rid of these sores in my mouth??
Wednesday afternoon, lip burning mostly subsided and no sores have ever appeared on my lips or pubic area. Thursday and Friday (today) all I have is persistent burning in my pubic area. As of today, 1 week later, I have not developed any redness, rash, sores, lesions, or anything that can be seen visually. NOTHING!
Penis has been fine throughout. No pain, sores, or anything at all. No backache, no significant butt or leg pain, or headache.
My lips randomly got swollen last night and now I think I have herpes. I have comparing my lips to pictures on the internet, why? Good question... I know that it is never a good idea. My upper lip randomly gets swollen right in the middle and I think I stared at my face in a magnified mirror for longer than I ever have before. Lol.
I have tried to get you the best pictures of my lips as I can. There is buringing more towards the top part of my lip it streches from the center outwards some and when I have the lips mosit I don't feel the buring. Feels like they are wet sometimes and I need to wipe them. My fear is this maybe a cold/fever sore/blister but I want to know if there is anything else this could be. I am used to more of a dry climate and have been here visiting for a few days.
i dont remember seeing her with sores on the lip. there were just detailed skin marks which appeared natural. from the pictures of herpes on google i did not see anything like that.
but she didnt kiss me anytime. and i didnt happen to kiss her lips too. just touched her breasts.
but how can i know now if i have it. and what about my symptoms. also i dont have fever yet.
Also when I push my lips out i see little white bumps that you can not see unless you push out your lips. I am really worried. The sores on my tongue and the bump near my genitals do not hurt and i never had trouble swollowing. I have had some flu like symptoms but was not sure if those were caused by my constant worrying and looking at websites about symptoms. fever but not very high or very long, no real body aches, but a slightly sore back, and have just been very tired all the time.
I looked at the pictures. They don't look like cold sores, no. The technical term for the area on your lip is leukoplakia (white patch) but why it is there, I don't know. If it continues to be present, I would go to see your dentist for a further evaluation. Stop trying to remove it with a toothbrush, you will be confusing the picture for the dental evaluation.
If the area changes or becomes a blister, then I would be concerned about cold sores.

I can't see the image. If you are suspecting Candidiasis, you better see a doctor and he'll get the sore swabbed and have it sent to the laboratory for a culture and sensitivity test.
I just noticed some little dots on my lips. I have had some cold sores the past month or two. I've only had sex once. That includes oral sex as well. Im not sexually active. I had unprotected sex and oral sex about 2 years ago (my first time). Im not sure if she was clean or not. These small maybe pin point size dots around my lips don't bother me. my lips just feel like they're tingling or somethings lightly dabbing them.
I saw a dermatologist and he said that it was folliculitis and prescribed me solodyn (minocyciline). The sores on my lips usually last a week, but I usually pop them and they are sore, but no blood or pus comes out. They heal and have dissapeared, but for a little redness that you can't really see unless you look closely in the mirror. Is there still a chance that this is herpes?
I have painful blister-like sores around my vagina on a couple on my vaginal lips and I'm wondering a. how I can ease the pain/get rid of them and b. what they are.
Just to give a background on the last few weeks: I got a particularly back strain of tonsillitis a few weeks ago and was put on very strong antibiotics to clear it. After this I had a slight itch and touch of thrush which cleared up after taking a dose of pro-biotics.
t see anything except this one spot that appears to be a little raised but it is not like any of the pictures I can see. The doctor said when I showed him on the friday my lips he thought it could be a fever blister. I was running a fever (99.3). But during the week time I haven't seen any REAL blister there. I had a sore throat kind of itchy and not so painful but does get hard to swalow The sore throat has been going on for the last 4 days. The lips don't burn but do feel puffy.
m finding is making me doubt that. The pictures of canker sores look very similar to what I get (far more than the cold sore pictures) with a white sore on the inside of the lip with a red ring around it. I plan on going and getting a blood test this week to confirm if these sores are cold sores or canker sores.
But say these are cold sores, what are the chances this cut I always get in the same place is a result of me spreading the virus to another place on my body?
I have about 2 small sores in 2 different areas on the one side of the lip. I looked at pictures of herpes but it nothing that noticeable or big, its not a white head eather it just feels like someone is pinching me in one spot. It is itchy and also looks like an open sore because it bleeds a very little red blood only when I clean the area with hydrogen peroxide. I don’t shave and I don’t have sex very often, I have only had 4 partners, but I the last time I had sex was like 3 weeks ago.
Again it was not on or near her lips. It was perhaps an inch below her lower lip. They did not look like the photos of herpes or cold sores online. I'm hoping it was contact dermatitis. She had a similar blister/rash/? at the right corner of her forehead as well. Perhaps they were scabs or caused by excessive scratching or stress. It was extremely difficult to see until I got up close to her with the lights on. I asked if she had herpes or a cold sore and she said no.
s contracted in. That neans even if you are infected through the lips you can have future outbreaks on the lips, nose, cheeks...etc. the point is contracting it theough the cheeks is a real long shot. Again, don't stress as this is not a real world risk to you.
Having hsv1 oral or genital gives fantastic ptotection against getting hsv1 anywhere else on the body. It is rare that someone contracts lets say genital hsv1 when they have an oral infection. It doesn't take years.
