lip sores inside mouth

There are a few some on my inside cheek and lower inside lip. They usually heal with in 2 days as well. Any idea about what is wrong with me.

Is it on the bottom lip on the outside or the bottom lip on the inside? How large is large in size?

Now one sore is back on the left side of my mouth where my top and bottom lip connect. If i open my mouth too wide it tears and hurts. This is a new problem but it seems to be happening around the same time that all of the other things are happening.

The can occur on the gums or roof of the mouth but sores that you find on the tongue or inside of the lip are canker sores and very often are confused for cold sores/fever blisters. If you are really concerned and need to ease your worries you can get tested to see if you've been exposed to the HSV 1 or 2 , (and most of us have to HSV 1 by the time we are adults whether you actually develop cold sores or not).

Hi so about a year ago I went to the doctor about white sores inside my lip not actually on my lip like the inside part. He thought it might be a yeast infection and took a scraping. It came back with nothing. Then it started coming back alot more frequent. I went to the doctor again about five months later "didn't see the same doctor". He automatically said it was herpes didn't do any scraping of the sore for tests. I am a chronic smoker and ciggerettes.

When you say your cheek (do you mean outside on your face or inside your mouth?) and gums, that sounds like mouth sores associated with SHINGLES a different type of herpes virus ( I think). SHINGLES usually show up on other body parts like the abdomen, chest and back, however they can be on your face and in your mouth. These are extremely painful, can be large and widespread and usually take along time to clear up.

spots in the mouth aren't likely to be cold sores. Canker sores typically occur inside the mouth and cold sores more on the lip or outside the lip. did you have any testing done when you were seen by your gyn?

Is blisters on the lip inside the mouth a different type of HSV? I only see posts that talk about cold sores outside of the mouth..

Hey guys, so i have a canker sore in my mouth on bottom lip. But its unlike any canker sore ive had i dont even.know if its a canker sore.. To me its more of a pimple on the inside of my lip.. I just dont know what it is.. Ill leave it alone for a couple days then it gets a tad bigger and sensitive so id bite it.. Im just confused and theres only 1. You cant really see it in my picture.. Im just a worry wort.

I have two canker sores inside my mouth. One inside my cheek which looks and feels more like how you would expect a scrapped knee to look/feel but with slightly raised edges. Big yet shallow. Very sensitive. The slightest scrape or rub (eating or brushing teeth) causes it to bleed. Now a chunk of the raised skin surrounding his has peeled off and is bleeding. No recent oral trauma. The second sore is inside my top lip above my two front teeth and looks like a traditional canker sore.

Looks like canker sores. While hsv can occur inside the mouth, it is far more likely to cause symptoms on the mouth.

Hi, How would you describe these bumps? Are they white, reddish or of the color of the inside of your lip. If you have been repeatedly biting your lip, these bumps may actually be oral mucoceles. Oral mucocles usually occur after repeatedly exposing the lip to trauma. This may be possible if you have the habit of biting your lip. Does this apply to you? Is the bump painful? Do they occur in clusters or do they appear singly?

Good afternoon people I have a concern me and my wife are both hsv2 positive, I gave her oral sex and now I have these burning spots on my soft palate and hard palate on one of the spots it looks like 3 lil open sores .. is it possible for hsv to be inside of the mouth I knew u coulf get it in your outter lip and stuff but not inside mouth...

Still have the tiny bump on the tip of my tongue and maybe a few of the fine bumps inside of my lip. As for the little pimple like bump on my lip, it's gone. I truly thought herpes was not something that would happen on the tip of the tongue. I do have a bad tooth in the back and I'm wondering if this could cause some of the problems.

actually cold sores rarely occur inside the mouth. they usually are canker sores which are not herpes related.

I am not sure if these are cold sores under the surface of my lip swelling, canker sores that are also on my lip, or something else!

Couple days now I develpoed 2 canker sores on the inside of my bottom lip. they are 2 canker sores connected to each other side by side. And also I have one small canker sore right under one of my bottom front tooth. On the hard surface of my gums. What does this mean? I am freaking out. Is it anything I should worry about? I also noticed a small rash on both edges of my lip on the inside, you can only see it when I open my mouth and point it out. I figured that maybe the mouth rash and canker sore could have came of the crazy amount of stress that I was feel during that week. My second question, I woke up this morning, 2-3 weeks after the incident, and I have sores in my mouth. When I first woke up this morning, my upper lip was swollen, There was three areas on my upper lip that was red, after I brushed my teeth the swollen lips went down, but they are still red in those spots. Bottom line is to determine if a sore on the lip is a herpes sore it would need to be swabbed and cultured. I do know that sores inside the mouth are canker sores which are not herpes sore as most often appear on the outside of the mouth and most often where the lip meets the face.
