I had a root canal done 1 week ago and my lip and teeth on my lower right side is dumb..its the tingly numbness that you have when the numbness is wearing off..What could this possible be?
The multiple highly mobile nodules are in most cases not cancerous. Some people are having the nodules for 20 years without the symptoms. the AACE recommends to do thyroid neck check on monthly bases to check to detect the any rapid enlargment of the nodules.
In the past the L-thyroxine used to be prescribed in this case but such treatment was not effective in most cases.
some blood did come out, but now on this day it looks as though it could be a wart on my lip, it has the white area like a wart, there is a hole in the middle of it (an injection site), maybe it could be a bug bite ? ive been putting ACV and neosporin on it. not sure what to do.

A while later, the dentist returned, when asked if my lower lip was numb I responded that the top was numbed, the dentist was surprised and gave me more injections and immediately began drilling. I let the dentist know that there was a lot of pain, so the dentist, I believe, gave me more injections, and then left to give the anesthesia time to work. Upon returning, my lip was numb, so the dentist began drilling again, but it was still extremely sensitive, so even more anesthesia was given.
I had metacril injections two weeks ago in Costa Rica to my lips and nasalabial folds. The metacril in the bottom lip has now turned into hard bumps, which I think was the result of going and having my teeth whitened afterwards and the Zoom laser hitting that area so long. Has anyone else had experience with metacril? Any recommended plastic surgeons in the Dallas area I can go to and follow up with this issue? Thanks!
Iodine deficiency causes general enlargement without nodules ;it starts as diffuse goiter in late teens with gland grows up to 2 times normal volume[and sometimes a lot larger then that]; at around 30 years of age the nodules form; by the mid 40's these nodules are starting to produce excess hormones [become HOT], causing toxic multinodular goiter.
Some nodules will grow own into the chest area and surgery by that time will be complicated. They'd have to break through the ribs to get to it. Sub-sternal thyroid glands, a thyroid will grow downward rather than up and out within the neck. When this happens, the thyroid will grow down the trachea into the chest. This can become an even bigger problem since the chest is surrounded by a very rigid bone structure (the chest cavity).
Often, irritated/appear inflamed skin boardering my top lip. I now have enlarged pores around my lips where the symptoms are noticed (Im assuming from being constantly inflamed). The boarders of my lips seem to swell/bubble, never to a blister, but they do swell/bubble. When it goes away it slightly darkens in the area and peels away like dry skin. Visibly, the boarders of my lips are no longer clear and disctinct. They almost are starting to blend with my face.
Doctors, your advice would be very much appreciated. Several weeks ago, I went in to see my dentist for a new crown. After the first injection of anesthetic didn't take, he injected me with another. In the process, a shooting electric like shock went through my lower jaw. He explained this was because he had hit the nerve but it would be alright. Since then, I have been back to him complaining of pain in my teeth along my lower jaw. The only relief I get is from ibuprofen.

I was never advised of the risks of this surgery (that I could have permanent nerve damage or that I would be left with a huge ball like scar in the center of my lip. My lip is still swollen causing my lip to be exposed to the air (it feels raw all the time). The scar is hardening and it hurts ( I can also feel a band that runs horizontel along the incision line. I have seen an example of a mucocele surgery on the internet and it looks nothing like what this oral surgeon did to me.
