Took her to the ER and the general surgeon sutured her lip. Now it is indented and her vermilion border is asymmetrical. Do I have any options for correcting the scar or is waiting the best option?
i am 30 yrs old female that had lasik 10 yrs ago.my prescription was -8.5 each eye and my corneal thickness was 535 mic. during the 5 yrs after surgery i had regression and my eyes now are -2 and -2.5 and it's stable for 4 yrs, i want to know can i do prk as an enhancement after initial lasik ?and am i a good candidate?i have floater and some times flashing but i don't have retinal hole or tear.

Can Lasik surgery enhancement make very small improvement in eyesight. My doctor recommends getting one of my eyes enhanced after Lasik. One eye (non dominant one)is 20/25 and I am OK with that but do wish to see better at a distance overall. The other dominant eye is 20/30 at best and does not see at distance well at all but does see up close pretty good.
Can enhancement on the dominant eye fine tune things enough for it to get to 20/20 even though it is already somewhat close at 20/30.

I recently underwent a cardiac MRI due to persistent palpitations/PVCs. I received a call from a nurse regarding my results. She stated that there was a mild abnormality and that the doctor wants to order PET imaging. She explained that there was a small area of late gadolinium enhancement (LGE).
I was able to download the report, which states: "There is a small focus of mid wall late gadolinium enhancement at the basal to mid inferoseptal segment at the RV insertion site.
If a Brain MRI report states "no contrast enhancement", this is a good thing, right?

my mom's MRI Report says, "There is basal & mid epicardial enhancement interior wall, mid septal enhancement along RV endocardinal side, basal infero laternal segment enhancement & mid centero septal mid myocardial enhancement.

Here is what I noticed in viewing their web site and the infomercial, These are all the same people!!! The lighting is different making them look worse in the beginning. The photos when looked at up close appear to pbe comuter enhanced!!! They are frowning and holding their heads at an angle that would protray more of a loose skin you get with age.
