I'm 28 wks with my second and i have the worst "pregnancy mask" this time around. They say that girls steal your beauty but I'm having a boy this time so he better be super handsome because i don't have beauty right now. Any suggestions other than concealer on how to lighten the brown splotches?
On my face, mostly right above and long my brows , between my brows on my forehead and above my lip. I cover it with makeup, but other than that I think you just have to wait it out. Are you light skinned? I'm Caucasian but tan.
The first few days, when I moved them, lines would appear and they looked like they lost shape a bit on the top lip. They look better now, and lines went away, but they're still not the same as they were before. Do you think I have I lost some collagen or elasticity? Could that happen to someone my age? (I'm 18.) I know it sounds funny that I think it might have been what I did, but they were fine before I did that.
I always thought the pregnancy mask was the dark patches that can appear from the pregnancy hormones. I think it's called melasma. I actually have a spot and it on my upper lip. The worst area cuz it looks like half a mustache. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little lol but I am experiencing very dry skin on my face too.

That's actually not melasma or the 'mask of pregnancy'. Mask of pregnancy is discoloration of the skin to a brownish tone in places like above lip, across nose, on cheeks in crevices of cheeks. It's not usually dry but just skin discoloration.
She did put on a mask and gloves but often removed and reapplied the mask between procedures. Sure enough, four days later I had an outbreak in the corner of my lower lip where she was holding my lip during the procedure. Now two years later both she and I have had Igg tests and both have unusually high positive Igg results (50). Is it possible that a particular strain of HSV-1 virus is responsible for the unusually high results in both tests?
When i was like, 4-5 a dog bit me on the lip and kinda ripped it a little and left a scar. I had an angioma (red spot) removed from above my upper lip. They used a needle to cauterize the spot which was supposed to make it go away. It took a number of injections over several visits before the redness seemed to respond and fade a bit. But in it's place, I now have a triangular shaped divet about the size of the head of a pin where the skin is missing and no longer flush with the rest of my skin above my top lip.
I am a 61 yr old female who recently developed deep lip and mouth lines over the last couple of years.
I am a non smoker but I do facial exercises which may cause me to purse my lips more. Is there anything
I can do to soften these lines or make them disappear. I am not consistant with my moisturizers so need to keep at that better than I have been. Any suggestions?
and i got three stitches on the chin beacuse of this my chin and lower lip got dislocated slightly .how can it be brought back to original position .
my upper lip is swollen and if i close my mouth the upper lip doesen close and its blown up so it doesen close properly and wen i close them there bees a gap between my upper and bottom lip

However this was 4 days ago, and although it hurts a little bit less today, I would think it should not still be hurting. I had been looking at my inner lip every day to see any signs of disease - and just today I noticed I have 2 small white blisters at the bottom of my mouth, behind my chin, under my lip. They are a little bit tender and hurt when I eat or drink something acidic.
It is normal look up pregnancy mask. Dont remember the real name for it but it is just like nipples getting darker and getting the black line up to your belly button.
I'm wondering if you ask for the mask during labor does it help numb the pain a lot, or can you still feel most of your contractions?

The other day I decided to research a bit on hbv and collagen and it turns out that there is a lot of research about other types of collagen (there is at least 16 types of collagen) that can potentially cure chirrhosis or even lead to liver injury, but I couldnt fine anything related to HBV and collagen type 1&3.
Very confusing ....but like i said above, there are lots of different types of collagen and they each can influence your liver in a different way.
