3 weeks ago I was hit by a racquetball racket on the upper lip .The lip was not cut ,but bruised and swollen .The swelling has gone down but I have a small lump remaining .Since I was not cut could this be scar tissue or do I have to wait more time for the lump to go away ?

t improve over the next few days and I woke up with what I can only describe as a fat lip and like 3 canker sores varying in size. He looked me over and said no, wrote me a script for Prednisone and sent me on my way. I responded well to the Prednisone and my selling started to go down.

t imagine why if there is a possibility of cancer or if it proves to be malignant you would even be thinking about breast augmentation! You need to put those thoughts aside and deal with the present issue then another consult with both a Breast Specialist and a Plastic Surgeon when you are clear as far as any malignancy is concerned. i dont know where else to ask this; but i am considered getting breast augmentation surgery if DH will cave LOL...have any of you had it done? i was lucky enough to escape pregnancy without my breasts sagging, but i still think they could be perkier and a little bigger. ( wear a B/C depending on the bra ) i know its more expensive to get a lift by itself, but i what i REALLY want is implants AND a lift. but im scared how much that will cost. did anyone get JUST implants?

Have you actually been using the steroid cream on your lips themselves? I think in your shoes, I would not do that. Call the doc that prescribed the cream and explain what you think is happening, and see if he or she has any idea if that's related to the cream. I do know that using topical steroids can indeed thin the skin. Another thing to know is that as we age, what might have been a pretty full upper lip as a teenager or young woman can thin out (especially noticeable when smiling).

My son fell on the playground 2 days ago and bled slightly on the inside of his mouth - it stopped in a second. However, he got a big big big fat lip within 15 minutes.
