Im 37 years old and just had my first baseline mammogram in preparation for breast augmentation surgery. I am scheduled for a stereotactic biopsy for an area of calcifications that were found in my right breast. m not here to ask anyone for help, but instead to spread awareness for people suffering with CPCBLS (chronic permanent chapped botton lip syndrome). and yes i did just make that up. so if you or anyone you know is plagued with CPCBLS then remember this, there is no hope for you, you will never feel true love, you will never have the confidence to live your life the way it needs to be lived and you will die alone.

I had a breast augmentation like 6 months ago. one of my boobs is numb still. i still cant feel the nipple or around it. it is so numb that it is just irritating to touch. the dr. says give it a year after surgery. but it could be a life long thing i'm stuck with. Anyone else ever had this problem?
There is an infection and I am on antibiotics and the infection is almost all gone, the problem is that my lower lip only the left half and partway down my chin is still feeling numb (like when Novocain is wearing off and it is tingly with some feeling but still considered numb). Hi, My upper lip from the middle and lower lip from the side always has some small bits of skin hanging there and after a certain time I have to remove them by peeling off. I think from that my upper and lower lip are swollen all the time. If someone looks at my upper lip it seems as if I have an injury there . I allply Vaseline every other night and it's effect is only in day but after sometime the lips get dry again. This has been happening from a long time (3-4) years.
The condition described is probably associated infection of mandibular nerve. Seeing an endodontist ASAP is advised before you get permanent numbness.
Scar tissue developed leaving me with what appeared to be a permanent fat lip. About a year and half ago, I had cosmetic surgery to eliminate this. For the first six months, it looked great.
