Avatar f tn I'm 36 years old and 20 weeks and started to get swollen feet. Anyone else dealing with this? Any advice on how to prevent it?
Avatar f tn Anyone else had feet that swell so bad it hurts to take them out of your shoes? Or you can feel them getting bigger and bigger? Mine are so painful but I have so much stuff to do I gotta work through it!
Avatar f tn I drink lots of water and wear compression stockings that help alot. I'm constantly on my feet at work. I'm either standing or walking or running because of an emergency.
Avatar f tn I prefer flip flops or flats but supportive running shoes n intervals of putting feet up helps to bring them back to a place of normalcy. To feel good about this part of my body will get nails painted at salon - $5-10.
Avatar n tn Back in my running, exercise days I developed the same numbness you expressed. My feet and toes, sometimes both feet, would go numb making the run and frequently the walk back home, very cumbersome. Often it happened within minutes. I got help from a neurologist in the way of a cause but not really any treatment except to really warm up and stretch before exercise, try more biking, and switch running shoes often.
Avatar f tn Anyone out there dealing with rash issues? I developed a rash on the top of my hands and the top of my feet. They are lots of scattered little bumps all over, flesh colored (until I scratch the crap out of them) and itch like crazy. The itching feet keep me up at night where the only relief is an ice pack. Cortisone cream was useless. I tried benadryl, but I'm not sure if it did anything. One GP doc said scabies. A second GP doc said it may be scabies, but couldn't be sure.
20753799 tn?1505502619 Hi all, I broke my 5th metatarsal 11 weeks ago this Sunday. I'll try to upload my most recent x-ray for ye to see. Basically I'm very unhappy with the doctor as I have no real indication of how much longer I'll be healing before I'm fully right. I walk with no pain typically, tried running tonight and had pain alright and some lingering pain afterwards which I know is a bad sign anyway. The pain wasn't particularly severe but still.
Avatar f tn s probably all the running around you have to do. When my feet were getting swollen i figured it was because i was constantly running around after a kid && i was up and down. Now that I'm home, my feet don't even swell anymore. Try soaking them in cold water or hot water. That relaxed me and it took off the swelling. Just keep your eyes on them, look for the preeclampsia signs && all.
Avatar f tn Sure...you may not be recognizing them, but Baby's definitely kicking. some babies don't "kick" so much as stretch out their legs and move their feet while in an extended position, so what you think is "rolls" may actually be your baby "rubbing" his feet rather than using a striking motion in what is traditionally considered a kick.
Avatar f tn Hi bt- i'm having some issues with my feet as well. My feet can feel like I have really bad Athletes Foot; a strong burning sensation under my toes. They can also feel like someone has just droppes a bowling ball on them. Sometimes its both :-) My doc and I are abut to start investigating remedies.
7750527 tn?1397990512 Don't stress mamas. Club feet is completely reversible with good compliance with ttreatment. My husband is an orthopedic surgeon and I also ttreatment babies with club feet. It is a deformity of the feet where the bottoms of the feet "pray" instead of pointing towards the floor. With early treatment babies will go on to have totally normal feet and could be professional athletes! If ur baby had club feet, an orthopedic doctor will see them in the hospital before discharge.
Avatar m tn I experienced the same problem with running, especially anything over 1mile. My feet throbbed, got puffy and hurt. Felt like I was walking on pebbles at times. I thought it was the shoes as well and went through about 3 different styles and nothing helped so I went to the rower and quit running all together. I miss Crossfit but as you can atest, a big unconditioned box in the dead of summer going full tilt is no place for a person with MS!!
391686 tn?1225168008 For the past 3 weeks, my father had started to feel numbness in the feet, arm and face on the right side(only in those areas). The numbness occurs daily usually around dusk/evening. He has been to a GP and without doubt suspected a stroke. They instructed him to go for a CT scan, but the results were clear. My father has high blood pressure and high sugar levels of ~9 but is not considered diabeties yet. He was already on asprin for some time for blood thining.
Avatar f tn As you can see the curve for -1.0 D intersects this acuity at about 3 meters or 10 feet. At 20 feet it would drop to about 20/40, the same as for longer distances. This is the limit in most jurisdictions for driving without eyeglass correction. So the short answer is that -1.0 would be marginally ok for TV viewing at 10 feet, and not quite as good at 20 feet. It depends on your requirement for sharpness of your TV image. https://www.semanticscholar.
Avatar f tn i also agree with gimel about blood work...you should post your results with reference ranges because some doctors use different standards regarding "normal".
Avatar n tn Does anyone get pain on the tops of your feet near the toes? Sometimes my toes hurt and I have to crack them. I have been super tired and achy this week, and running a low grade fever in the afternoon.
Avatar f tn My feet are killing me, too. I feel like I've been running wind sprints barefoot on rocks! And the toes on one foot feel like they are in very hot water. Thank you for the tip about the Lyrica, Youvegottobekidding. I am in so much pain it is hard to function. Every old injury (and I play hard so I have a lot of them) is showing up w/ fluttering and sharp pain. I am going to call my doctor today!
Avatar f tn He is head down, bum up, and his legs are curled up so his feet end up on my right. So that is what I feel a lot....his little feet kicking and kicking. So, I bet you are feeling the same thing. Take care!
Avatar m tn Judging from your symptoms I have to ask you one question: Have you been diagnosed with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes? Your symptoms sound very much like what I am going through with my feet: feeling like I'm walking on hot stones and my feet are constantly feeling hot and burning.
Avatar f tn Try soaking your feet in cold (not ice cold -bearable/normal tap) water. Also reduce the salt content in your diet. Excess salt can cause your BP to rise which also causes swollen feet. Sleep with your feet a little elevated than your body.
Avatar f tn I know that when you get pregnant your feet get wide and my did i wonder will thay stay wide forever

Avatar f tn My dr said its normal for 1 foot to swell more than the other and its normally the left that swells more. But drink lots of water and when you get home elivate your feet... especially if its hot drink even more water.
Monster Why are feet affected so much with individuals who have Diabetes? I have a problem with my Right big toe. It will not heal no matter what I do. I am curious why the healing process is taking so much longer since I have become a diabetic.
