I use Kenergon a desensitising spray for the penis with lidocaine, except this time I certainly went overboard in the number of sprays I applied in the space of a few hours. Maybe 20 or so.
My penis still doesn't feel quite right a few days later. Slight lack of sensitivity etc

Idk.... I had the same with baby #1. Maybe try some lidocaine spray??? That's what they give us for vagina pain anyway after the babies born anyway, so i don't think it would hurt to try?!?
I still try to have it occasionally and sometimes use a spray with lidocaine. Every time I have sex I always bleed afterwards, not too much but it’s every single time. This is without using the spray/ unprotected/protected and using the spray. I’ve had a vaginal ultrasound in April which was normal and I’m clean for all sexual infections and have never had one. Hi, whew, that's rough. I'm sorry! So, first. Lidocaine patches. What about lidocaine cream? It's cheap, REALLY cheap. I've gotten it on Amazon for under 6 dollars a tube. You can spend more as well and it is going to last you and go a lot further than 2 patches. And I use it and it is helpful. You could look for alternatives. They also make a spray, also inexpensive.

I've struggled with premature ejaculation and I'm thinking of using a type of product called delay spray. I've looked into different ones out there like Promescent and Steady Freddy (yeah, weird name). They're supposed to desensitize your penis so you can last longer. Do these products generally work with helping men last longer during sex? Are these products safe to be using regularly?
I had my neck numbed with lidocaine, and that was a great help. I was also given a Valium 20 minutes prior to the procedure (which did nothing for me). All I felt during the FNA was pressure, really. It was incredibly sore for me afterwards, so I did a lot of icing down. I actually have a scar from my FNA (very small), but it pales in comparison to the beauty that is my TT scar! =)
It was WELL worth it, though, as I just found out that my thyroid was indeed cancerous.
My first ultra sound FNA was a done by a Radiologist. I felt the 1st stick of lidocaine. I didn't feel the other needle sticks, but felt lots of pressure. The Radiologist seemed to have lots of problems getting the needle into the nodule even though it was ultra sound guided. He poked around in me for about 25 minutes before getting a sample. I was scared to death and could feel the needle inside my throat every time I swallowed. Two days later, I was told the sample was not adequate.
It is now available even at WalMart the problem is,it is a lotion/gel type thing, so if you can, you need to apply it and give it a minute or two to get into your skin. Have not seen it in a spray but will look and let you know. Good luck BigTBird!.
Forget the Lidocaine it does not work well for the pain also the gel sticks to your underwear which sticks to you and then the pain starts all over again. Wearing larger size underwear does help, not washing with soap or letting any shampoos and so on touch the area helps, talc helps short term to stop the sticking or rubbing. Not wiping yourself with paper but just dab helps or using wipes with nothing in them helps too. Not wearing underwear in bed also helps.
t know why I got it I have tried Naprosyn co codamol creams and lidocaine patches and I AM IN PAIN 24 7 there not much use I cant walk for long cant sit either sleeping is a nightmare I am slowly slipping into depression and I am quite tearful I have a hobby which I love making cards I have enjoyed doing this for 6 yrs as I can't go out this keeps me occupied but I cant do them anymore because of this I know people are worse off than me I understand that but every one tries to cope
Thank you for easing my mind. I did get some lidocaine from my doctor. She believes my paranoia of checking myself 10 + times a day irritated the sensitive skin down there. Giving me the lidocaine helped immensely.
It probably isn't the lidocaine, it's the epinephrine that is in the lidocaine. You can ask your dentist to use an anesthetic without epinephrine, I have had tons of dental work and always ask for that. Dentist doesn't mind at all and I've never had any problems. It doesn't last as long but if you start to feel anything while they are working the dentist will just give you more. I have done fine with it.
t have a headache. I understand that there is a test or treatment involving lidocaine dripped directly on the sphenopalatine nerve. How do I get to the right specialist. More importantly, do my symptoms sound like this syndrome. I plan to explore this more with my doctor which is 12 days away.
