I have pain in both rhomboids and massive build up of scar tissue on both sides. When it gets really bad, you can see a bulge on both sides if I aggravate it. Ironically, the only thing that helps is ice and grinding the muscles against hard objects which provides relief, but aggravates the muscle and causes, you guessed it, more scar tissue. I tried all the muscle relaxants. I'm about to go pick up a $200 prescription for lidocaine patches.
my co-worker gave me a new 10ml bottle of lidocaine, he uses it to give himself stitches. advice as to where to put the needle (i got from cvs insulin 31g-8mm),what to expect ie: will it burn- how long b4 its numb, and if i split the nail will it grow back? any advice will help..
I went to see a Dental TN Specialist yestuerday, and he told me that there are MANY new topical forms of many of these meds and that because you do not asorbe much of them, the side affects are greatly reduced.
Right now I use LIDOCAINE opintment for my face and inside my mouth and yes it does help. I only use it PRN.

Re: Lidocaine Enemas. I am warning everyone to be careful. My brother just died 3/31/12 from a lidocaine enema. He was only 28. (Lidocaine Intoxication) Lidocaine in liquid form. I don't want anyone elses loved ones to die like this. I hope everyone will be careful when dealing w/lidocaine. it is a dangerous substance when not used properly.
There are no contraindications for using lidocaine for the purpose described. The only danger is that lidocaine completely anesthetizes tissue, which is why you can cut or suture an area treated by lidocaine. Thus it is possible to cause a tear or injury that would not be noticed until the lidocaine wore off. In the case of normal intercourse, this should not be a problem.
In a simple dental procedure, I had what I can only describe as a seizure after getting what was supposed to be lidocaine and epinephrine injection. The area never got numb, and the pain from the point of the needle each time they attempted to inject me was painful. I was taken to the ER and released after 8 hours with no explanation.

I heard the effectivesnees of accutane is increased with a twice daily dosage. True? I will be taking 40mg a day, once a day. Would it be better to take 20 mg twice a day?
Also, is it ok to take glucosamine for my joints while on accutane?
Lastly, should I be getting a monthly blood test? Or any other precautionary measures?
Latley his depression has come back (not as bad as before). His MD has increase his dosage by 150 mg.(has not started yet, med is being filled) , can people build up talorance to this drug?
It probably isn't the lidocaine, it's the epinephrine that is in the lidocaine. You can ask your dentist to use an anesthetic without epinephrine, I have had tons of dental work and always ask for that. Dentist doesn't mind at all and I've never had any problems. It doesn't last as long but if you start to feel anything while they are working the dentist will just give you more. I have done fine with it.
Look at the ingredients on the bottle. Benzocaine is mostly made up of lidocaine -a numbing agent in no way related to cocaine. You are more likely to test positive for THC (pot) from using motrin.
Hi there. For the past 10-12 years I've struggled with forms of anxiety. In turn this has created a big problem when it comes to getting/maintaining an erection during relationships. During my last relationship in 2014 i relied on Viagra and Cialis. This seemed to do the job.
However i have recently just met someone and these tablets don't seem to be taking effect. I think my anxiety now is slightly worse than what it was before.
Any tips of upping the dosage etc?
started me on 40 mg. of Nexium once a day, we had to up the dosage to 40 Mg. twice a day to see results. I have been maintaining this dosage for 2 years, and in the last few months my discomfort has seriously increased. I feel as if I constantly carry around a 5 lb weight where my stomach used to be, and upon eating ANYTHING...even so little as a few bites of food the "heaviness" in my belly doubles. There is no burning or indegestion, just heaviness and misery.
