Do the side effects of Lexapro (specifically headaches) usually lessen with length of time used? I've only been on it less than a week, but have had headaches all day every day all day since I started them. OTC Tylenol or Ibuprofen don't do anything in terms of relief.

If anything, increasing your Lexapro would make you less anxious... But I promise you, your not going to notice anything with that med for at least 4-6 weeks! Try to just put that entire subject out if your head bc it really has no impact on your situation right now. It's nothing for you to worry about at all!

ssris can have a negative interaction with nsaids, but I don't think it's common. It's a possibility of bleeding. Tylenol might be the safest, but check with your psychiatrist.

can anyone explain the difference between the brand name Lexapro and the generic brand? i was reading your posts. my boyfriend was on the brand name lexapro and switched to the chemical brand in June. since then he has been spriraling downhill, out of control is there that much of a difference in brand name and off brand?
