Interesting jaw clenching from Lexapro, I am also on Lexapro. I thought I clenched my jaw because I was stressed and anxious. Perhaps I am dealing with a little of both, the ENT Dr. told me I has tinnitus, but that there is nothing I can do about it, there are some herbal supplements that I can take I guess. I learnt the hard way and did it slowwwwly thats the only way however a mere withdrawal from Lexapro has left me with permanent Tinnitus.

I took lexapro when I first started meds and it made me tired all the time and memory loss, which I couldnt remember what I did yesterday, type thing. I went from lexapro to welbutrin, then I was taking lexapro and welbutrin... but now the doc has me on Zoloft, which I feel is better for me than lexapro and welbutrin, I just dont like the sexual side affects.. which I cannot enjoy my sexual desires.. but im gonna go back to the doc for that...

My doctor thought that Lexapro was not working. I went 3 weeks without taking Lexapro and it was sooo bad. So the doctor put me back on 2.5 mg and a program to taper. Here is my question. Why are I waking up every morning with anxiety, hot, racing heart, and nervous stomach? I stay hot all day. My face feels like it is on fire. My heart fills like it is racing but when I take my pulse rate it seems to be ok.

I don't think that Zoloft can cause this and you were only on it for three days, so you really should not have any withdrawal effects. Have you ever had this before? I sometimes have sinus infections and my ears sometimes ring....keep us posted!

I am told anxiety does not cause Tinnitus (the ear rining) but it can exasperate it ... many people have tinnitus their whole lives and don't really notice it....

I will also sometimes have a headache on the right side of my head along with sinus problems and tinnitus on the right side. Sometimes it will be weeks/months with no symptoms. My left hand will shake occasionally, as well, when I am trying to do something. My rib on left side will pop when i lean down. I will often feel “out of it” and my right eye seeming blurry as well as dizzy and unsteady. I will occasionally have trouble focusing my eyes and things will look wavy to me.

My primary care dr thought it was anxiety and put me on lexapro and ativan, and atenolol for the heart pounding. None of these medications helped. Now I have been taken off of these medications and put on clonodine. Once I went off of those meds, I have the constant feeling of being very disoriented, almost like I'm stoned but I'm not. In the days before the surgery I had some eruption pain, and the teeth were fully impacted, and I had some mild tinnitus. However, after I got them out, the tinnitus has gotten much worse. The only way to be sure of this is to stop taking it for a time and see if tinnitus goes away. So far, I have not taken any for 11 nights and tinnitus is still the same. - A pretty much constant low-pitched noise. How long would I have to stay off Zolpidem before knowing whether or not it is the culprit?

i have played in a band for many years but just recently developed tinnitus. I use earplugs and headphones when i play now, because i was told the years of playing may have damaged my ears. My chiropractor also told me that it could also be a problem with my neck, if the C1-C2 veratbre are misaligned that could cause these symptoms.
