Yes- I was hoping to hear success stories. I could probably give up the SSRI (God help my family if I do!) But I have Gerd to that same extent as well. Hello everyone, I have suffered with Anxiety Since January this Year. I was on Lexapro and Xanax from about February to end of March. I came off my medications with withdrawl problems mainly from the Lexapro. I have been off the Meds for about 3 Months but my Anxiety is back and need relief therefore I'm going back on the Meds. This is just me but I like Xanax ok but it last such a short period of time I dont like taking it multiple times during the day.

I know this. My doctor prescribed Lexapro to help with the depression / anxiety cause by the metoprolol beta blocker. Has anyone else taken Lexapro for drug induced depression and has it helped ? The beta blocker has caused severe depression and anxiety. I need something to help me to get out of this hole and depression that I"m in. I was on Prozac for 7 years and was switched to Lexapro by my doc about 2 months ago for IBS and depression. I stopped taking it almost 3 weeks ago and am having some withdrawl issues...brain zaps (although a little better today), dizzy feelings, etc... Has anyone successfully gone through this?
