I am on day 38 of my menstrual cycle. I normally go between 26-28 days on my cycles. I have taken 2 pregnancy test with a negative result. I have NEVER missed a period without being pregnant ( 2 pregnancies). I have been taking Lexapro for the past year. I have stopped cold turkey due to was not sure if I was pregnant. I just want a little clarification. I've had the Nexplanon implant for about...3 months now. I've done my research and read all of the side effects. Like... they said at 10mg there are very few side-effects and at 20mg there are noticeable side-effects. Hi, I am too experiences horrific effects from coming off 20mg Lexapro. But I can't take all the side effects anymore. I wish I knew what to do to stop the vertigo/dizziness but the only thing I can find on internet (but havent' tried yet) is a motion sickness tablet that contains a vestibular suppressant. My Dr. prescribed me Zoloft, 50 mg. to take when I get mood swings and depression associated with my menstrual cycle. Normally I'm on a daily 10 mg. dose of Lexapro. Before I started on my med i had a very irregular menstrual cycle (had not had one in 2-3 mo). Endo put me on meds and i started up again and for a good 2-3 months i was regular. My levels were good although I was still having some fatigue so he bumped me up from 25 to 50mg. I never experienced sexual side effects with Lexapro, but I have with other anxiety medications. I didn't like it one bit! So, when I stopped taking those particular meds, I am happy to say that all functions returned to normal :) If you are on Lexapro, there must be a reason (anxiety?) so I wouldn't recommend not being on anything.
