lexapro

Avatar f tn I am currently on 40mg of lexapro and my therapist prescribed 80mg of geodon once a day. I took the geodon one night and the next am I was extremely sedated. I had blurred vision, slurred speech and I felt like my body had lead in it and it was hard to move. I stopped taking it and after a week I still feel spacey and have some tingling in my hands and feet. Could I be having these feeling because I had such a strong reaction to the med? I am afraid these symptoms are permanent.
Avatar n tn I have been prescribed Acebutolol for PVC's and I am literally exhausted since beginning this medication but I didn't see that as one of the side effects. Also, my vision is blurred. Is this normal?

Avatar f tn I concur with above posters. Additionally, certain antibiotics can cause blurred vision along with eye sensitivity, the latter requiring one to wear UV protected sunglasses outdoors. It appears your eyes are well enough to post here so Google the name of the antibiotics followed by the key words 'side effects' to see if blurred vision is listed. Then call your doctor and/or treating hospital for an eye examination.
Avatar n tn I've been taking zyprexa for almost 6 months and am still suffering side effects. I get blurred vision and fogginess which makes it hard to concentrate. I'm sleepy all of the time and could fall asleep at my desk if I could. I've had bipolar disorder for 10 years and have never been sleepy all of the time. In the past, prior to this medicine, I've always had troubles sleeping. Does anyone else have the same problems as me?
Avatar m tn Not every person gets the same side effects, so this blurred vision isn't common. Don't take any med that gives you blurred vision. Call your pharmacist or doc immediately. There are alternative meds she can take.
Avatar n tn Recently I've been diagnosed with a bit of Bipolar Disorder. My doctor put me on Lamotrigine, a mood stabilizer normally used to treat epilepsy, seizures. I've experienced a little bit of blurred vision every now and then from it but wonder why I'm having a small trace of vaginal bleeding every once in a while. I'm on Portia as a birth control method and I haven't had my period for a while now.

Avatar f tn Steriods can have various ocular side-effects and should be monitored closely for vision change. Cataracts are a risk during long term use for example.
Avatar f tn Blurred vision is NEVER a good thing. Stop those vitamins, call your dr, and see whay he/she says. Not trying to sound scary but blurred vision is always one of those side effects that shouldnt be taken lightly.

Avatar n tn If you google Lexapro you will see the side effect of blurred or double vision. This is common. Alot of people post about trouble with their eyes so hon, you're not alone. I used to take Ad's and I remember my vision was quite blurry. I have floaters too and they are annoying, but benign. You're okay, honey. I'm so glad the meds are giving you some relief. Take care...

Read All Potential Side Effects and See Pictures of Focalin ยป What are the precautions when taking dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride (Focalin)?
Avatar f tn I agree, a change in your vision is one of the rare side effects of clomid. Femara is another similar drug that can be used, and usually without as many side effects. If I were you, I would try to talk to the doctor about this as soon as possible. I don't really have any experience with PCOS, but eating better and exercising certainly wouldn't hurt. Good luck to you and I hope you get this all figured out soon!
Avatar f tn Like... they said at 10mg there are very few side-effects and at 20mg there are noticeable side-effects. But, you obviously don't want to change the dose on your own, as this can be extremely dangerous! But, it would be worth talking to your doctor about if the side-effects don't go away fast enough. Although... most of the time... with SSRIs in general I find, it can take 2 to 4 weeks for side-effects to go away and then they're gone for good.
Avatar m tn OH by the way, when I started Paxil, I had blurred vision but did not on Pristiq, the only side effects were the dry mouth and now insomnia (which totally *****) but I hope goes away.
Avatar f tn Hi, I am too experiences horrific effects from coming off 20mg Lexapro. But I can't take all the side effects anymore. I wish I knew what to do to stop the vertigo/dizziness but the only thing I can find on internet (but havent' tried yet) is a motion sickness tablet that contains a vestibular suppressant. Only thing I wanted to mention is that a friend/nutritionist has suggested I take SamE as an alternative to the Lexapro.
Avatar n tn blurred vision or other changes in vision" so I would suggest you contact your dr because this is one the of very infrequent side effects that they recommend you call your doctor if you experience. IMO it might just be a tunnel-vision type thing due to your body's response to your anxiety, but definitely check with your doctor cause there's a SLIGHT chance it could be a bad side effect of ativan.
Avatar f tn Sorry to hear all of this is going on. I'm glad you are getting help for your panic disorder but it can be a bit of a difficult time getting up to speed with newly started medicine. You are on a low dose of Lexapro. And SSRI's have something called transient side effects. That means that they have *start up* side effects that you experience when you first start taking the medicine and then they get less and less as your body adjusts.
Avatar m tn My question is, if bupropion causes blurred vision and sexual side effects, is there an alternative for me?
Avatar f tn I understand that as I go thru chemo (taxotere & cytoxan) that blurred vision is a side effect, as some cells ? in the eye are fast growing and destroyed easily. Are there any long term side effects or should I expect my vision to have changed by the time I'm finished with treatment? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hi everyone. Am hoping to get some advice. Has anyone had any experience with changes in vision since taking acyclovir as suppresive therapy? I've been taking it about 8 months now and didn't have any noticable side effects. But recently I've had vision problems... blurred vision and a rash on my eyelids.
Avatar f tn - benicar is known to have some wild side effects , such as Gas -bloating belly- uncontrolled passing gas!, and vision problems such as eye lids being lazy or not working well. blurred vision is another as well - no energy or power ! it robbs you of normal energy or power you had , no get up and go.. it got up and went with the benicar and other meds for b.p. its best to ask your Doctor to take you off it, asap and switch to something that isnt so harsh on you !
